TED HARVEY NOT PAUL HARVEY!

To all interested parties,

I want to share with you an awesome experience I recently had in the
Colorado House of Representatives. It is a humbling experience to look
back and realize that God used me to play a role in His divine
orchestration.

As I was leaving the House chambers for the weekend when our Democrat
Speaker of the House mentioned that the coming Monday would be the final
day of this year's General Assembly. He went on to state that there were
still numerous resolutions on the calendar which we would need to be
addressed prior to the summer adjournment. Interestingly, he specifically
mentioned that one of the resolutions we would be hearing was being
carried by the House Majority Leader Alice Madden, honoring the 90th
anniversary of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.

As a strong pro-life legislator I was disgusted by the idea that we would
pass a resolution honoring this 90 year legacy of genocide. I drove home
that night wondering what I could say that might pierce the darkness
during the debate on this heinous resolution.

On Saturday morning I took my eight-year-old son up to the mountains to
go white water rafting. The trip lasted all day. As we were driving home,
exhausted and hungry, I remembered that I had accepted an invitation to
attend a fundraising dinner that night for a local pro-life organization.
One of my most respected mentors had personally called me several weeks
earlier and asked me to attend, so I knew I'd have to clean up and head
over.

After our meal, the executive director of the organization introduced the
keynote speaker. I looked up and saw walking to the stage a handicapped
young lady being assisted to the microphone by a young man holding a
guitar.

Her name was Gianna Jessen.

Gianna said "Hello," welcomed everyone, and then sang three of the most
beautiful Christian songs that I have ever heard.

She then began to give her testimony. When her biological mother was 17
years old and 7 ½ months pregnant she went to a Planned Parenthood clinic
to have an abortion. As God would have it, the abortion failed and a
beautiful two-pound baby girl was brought into the world. Unfortunately,
she was born with cerebral palsy and the doctors thought that she would
never survive. The doctors were wrong.

Imagine the timing! A survivor of a Planned Parenthood abortion arrived
in town just days before the Colorado House of Representatives was to
celebrate Planned Parenthood's "wonderful" work.
As I listened to Gianna's amazing testimony the Lord inspired me to ask
her if she could stay in Denver until Monday morning so that I could
introduce her on the floor of the House and tell her story. Perhaps she
could even begin the final day's session by singing our country's
national anthem!

To my surprise she said she would seriously consider it. If she were to
agree, she wanted her accompanying guitar player to stay as well. A lady
standing in line behind me waiting to meet Gianna overheard our
conversation and said that she would be willing to pay for the
guitarist's room. Gianna then said that she would think about it.
As I was driving home from the banquet my cell phone rang. It was Gianna
and she immediately said, "I'm in, let's ruin this celebration." Praise
God!

When Monday morning came, I awoke at 6:00 to write my speech before
heading to the Capitol. As I wrote down the words I could sense God's
help and I knew that this was going to be a powerful moment for the
pro-life movement.

Following a committee hearing, I rushed into the House Chambers just as
the opening morning prayer was about to be given. Between the prayer and
the pledge of allegiance I wrote a quick note to the Speaker of the House
explaining that Gianna is an advocate for cerebral palsy. I took the note
to the Speaker and asked if I could have my friend open the last day of
session by singing the national anthem. Without any hesitation the
Speaker took the microphone and said, "Before we begin, Representative
Harvey has made available for us Gianna Jessen to sing the National
Anthem."

Gianna sang the most amazing rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that
you could possibly imagine. Every person in the entire chamber was
completely still, quiet, and in awe of this frail young lady's voice.
Due to her cerebral palsy, Gianna often loses her balance, and shortly
after starting to sing she grabbed my arm to stabilize herself, and I
could tell that she was shaking. Suddenly, midway through the song, she
forgot the words and began to hum and said, "Please forgive me I am so
nervous." She then immediately began singing again and every House member
and every guest throughout the chambers began to sing along with her to
give her encouragement and lift her up.
As I looked around the huge hall I listened to the unbelievable melody of
Gianna's voice being accompanied by a choir of over 100 voices. I had
chills running all over my body and I knew that I had just witnessed an
act of God.

As the song concluded the Speaker of the House explained that Gianna has
cerebral palsy and is an activist to bring awareness to the disease. "Let
us give her a hand not only for her performance today but also for her
advocacy work," he said. The chamber immediately exploded into
applause.she had them all in the palm of her hand.
The Speaker then called the House to order and we proceeded as usual to
allow members to make any announcements or introductions of guests. For
dramatic effect, I waited until I was the last person remaining before I
introduced Gianna.

As I waited for my turn, I nervously paced back and forth praying to God
that he would give me the peace, confidence and the courage necessary to
pull off what I knew would be one of the most dramatic and controversial
moments of my political career.

While I waited, a prominent reporter from one of the major Denver
newspapers walked over to Gianna and told her that her rendition captured
the spirit of the national anthem more powerfully than any she had ever
heard before.

Finally, I was the last person remaining, so I proceeded to the
microphone and began my speech:

"Members, I would like to introduce you to a new friend and hero of
mine-- her name is Gianna Jessen. She is visiting us today from
Nashville, Tennessee where she is an accomplished recording artist.
She has cerebral palsy and was raised in foster homes before being
adopted at the age of four.

She was born prematurely and weighed only two pounds at birth. She
remained in the hospital for almost three months. A doctor once said she
had a great will to live and that she fought for her life. Eventually she
was able to leave the hospital and be placed in foster care.
Because of her cerebral palsy her foster mother was told that it was
doubtful that she would ever crawl or walk. She could not sit up
independently. Through the prayers and dedication of her foster mother,
she eventually learned to sit up, crawl, then stand. Shortly before her
fourth birthday she began to walk with leg braces and a walker.
She continued in physical therapy and after a total of four surgeries,
she was able to walk without assistance.

She still falls sometimes, but she says she has learned how to fall
gracefully after falling for 29 years.
Two years ago she walked into a local health club and said she wanted a
private trainer. At the time her legs could not lift 30 pounds. Today she
can leg press 200 pounds.
She became so physically fit that she began running marathons to raise
money and awareness for cerebral palsy. She just returned last week from
England where she ran in the London Marathon. It took her over 8 ½ hrs to
complete. They were taking down the course by the time she made it to the
finish line. But she made it none the less. With bloody feet and aching
joints she finished the race.

Members would you help me recognize a modern day hero.Gianna Jessen?
At this point the chamber exploded into applause which lasted for 15 to
20 seconds.Gianna had touched their souls.
Ironically, Alice Madden the Majority Leader and sponsor of the Planned
Parenthood Resolution walked over to Gianna and gave her a hug.
As the applause began to die down I raised my hand to be recognized one
more time.

"Mr. Speaker, members, if you would allow me just a few more moments I
would appreciate your time.

My name is Ted Harvey not Paul Harvey but please let me tell you the rest
of the story.

The cause of Gianna's cerebral palsy is not because of some biological
freak of nature, but rather the choice of her mother.
You see when her biological mother was 17 years old and 7 ½ months
pregnant she went to a Planned Parenthood clinic to seek a late term
abortion. The abortionist performed a saline abortion on this 17-year-old
girl. This procedure requires the injection of a high concentration of
saline into the mother's womb which the fetus is then bathed in and
swallows which results in the fetus being burned to death, inside and
out. Within 24 hrs the results are normally an induced still-born
abortion.

As Gianna can testify the procedure is not always 100% effective. Gianna
is an aborted late term fetus that was born alive. The high concentration
of saline in the womb for 24 hrs resulted in a lack of oxygen to her
brain and is the cause of her cerebral palsy.
Members, today we are going to recognize the 90th anniversary of Rocky
Mountain Planned Parenthood,"

BANG! The gavel came down.

Just as I was finishing the last sentence of my speech. The climax of the
morning. The Speaker of the House gaveled me down and said,
"Representative Harvey, I will allow you to continue your introduction
but not for the purposes of debating a measure now pending before the
House."

At which point I said,

"Mr. Speaker I understand, I just wanted to put a face to what we are
celebrating today".

Silence.Deafening silence.

I then walked back to my chair shaking like a leaf. The Democrats
wouldn't look at me.they were fuming. It was beautiful. I have been in
the legislature for five tough years and this made it all worthwhile.
The House Majority Leader wouldn't talk to me the rest of the day.
Was it because I introduced an abortion survivor, or was it because we
touched her soul? She could hug an inspirational cerebral palsy victim
and advocate, but was outraged when she discovered that the person she
hugged was also an abortion survivor.

The headline in the Denver Post the next day read Abortion Jab Earns
Rebuke. The Majority Leader is quoted as saying "I think it was amazingly
rude to use a human being as an example of his personal politics,"
Yes Representative Madden, Gianna Jessen is a human being. She was when
she was in her mother's womb and she was when she sang the National
Anthem on the Floor of the Colorado House of Representatives.
The paper went on to quote Gianna Jessen, stating she was glad Harvey
told her story.

"We need to discuss the humanity of it. I'm glad to be able to speak up
for children in the womb," she said. "If abortion is about women's
rights, where were my rights?"

Leslie Hanks, one of the matriarchs of the pro-life movement in Colorado,
was in the House Chamber that morning and told me that it was the single
greatest moment she had witnessed in the State Legislature in the 20
years that she'd been lobbying in the Capitol.

All I can say is, "Glory to God!" He orchestrated it all, every minute of
it, and I was so honored to have been chosen to play a part. May we all
continue to be filled with and to fight for the passion of our Lord Jesus
Christ!

In His service,
Ted Harvey
Assistant Minority Leader

Tom Tancredo for president

No to Condoleezza Rice.

No to John McCain.

No to Newt Gingrich.

No to Haley Barbour.

None of these Republican politicians will be able to stop Hillary Clinton in 2008 or solve the most pressing problems facing this country.

Naturally, some readers are asking me for an alternative.

I've thought about this a great deal.

Hillary Clinton will be the choice of the Democratic Party. She is a dangerous demagogue who could, as president for four years, complete the destruction of this country begun during the eight years her husband held office.

She must be stopped.

While I have no faith in the Republican Party, given its pitiful track record since grabbing the presidency and control of Congress, it probably represents the only chance to limit the damage the federal government is wreaking on our country every day.

My preference would be a new party. My preference would be to build an alternative to the Republican-Democratic political trap. But time is short. I don't see this happening in 2008.

Unless a person with charisma, money and convictions – someone like Mel Gibson – arose to the challenge of an independent bid for the presidency in 2008, like it or not, we will be faced with a choice between a Democrat and a Republican.

Therefore, freedom-loving, security-conscious Americans need to rally behind a Republican candidate of principle and courage – someone who will speak to the core issues facing us all today.

In my humble opinion, there is one man who fills that bill – Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado.

He's a maverick. He marches to the beat of his own drummer. He's not afraid to criticize members of his own party – including his president. And that's what I love about him.

There is no one else in Congress or in national public life who has provided better leadership on the No. 1 national-security issue confronting the United States – the border and immigration policy.

Tancredo's prescription isn't radical – though it might seem that way based on the reaction of the Big Media and establishment politicians in both parties. What Tancredo is advocating are common-sense principles being implemented in nations all over the world – including in supposedly "progressive" Europe.

You can read about his plan for turning America around in his new book, "In Mortal Danger – The Battle for America's Border and Security" – published by WND Books. You can encourage him to make the run by buying it. You can raise his visibility as a national spokesman by sharing it with your friends. You can make your voice heard in Washington and around the country by making it a best seller.

It's real simple. A nation without borders ceases to be a nation. That is the threat we face with as many as 20 million illegal aliens already here and more pouring over the border every day.

I believe this is such a hot-button issue with the American people that Tancredo, a distinguished but otherwise obscure member of the House of Representatives, could actually win.

But even if he doesn't win, it is imperative that the issues he raises get a national debate before 2008. The chickens have come home to roost. This issue I have been writing about for years is now on the front burner. Much of the credit belongs to Tancredo. He has done an admirable job winning over many colleagues in the House.

However, it may take a national political campaign to save this country from the looming disaster illegal immigration and open borders represent.

That's why I am urging Tom Tancredo to make the run. I simply don't know of any other candidate in a position to make the case effectively.

Will he do it?

We need to encourage Tom Tancredo to gear up, raise the money he needs to get his campaign going, start organizing. We need to let him know we will back him. And we need to mean it.

You may say, "Farah, it's only 2006. There's a mid-term congressional election this year. Why are you obsessing over the 2008 presidential race?" Because it takes planning to win. And I want America to win in 2008.

Tom Tancredo for president.

How do you like the sound of that?

OUR NEXT PRESIDENT?

Friends,

We need to be praying for Tom Tancredo.

"Please Lord, let this man rise to the occasion and lead our nation from the
destruction that is at hand!

Let him see the mantle that is logically his.

Give him your vision, wisdom and guidance as he contemplates all that it
will take to save America from the new world order.

Thank you father God for his commitment to borders, language, culture and
your Word which have made America the "city on a hill,"
for the past centuries.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray,

Amen and Amen?

COLORADO CONGRESSIONAL CANDIATE TAKES BLOOD MONEY FOR CAMPAIGN
Why not, she is the former sister in law of America's first abortion law sponsor:
DICK LAMM

5/21/06 Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The leading pro-abortion political group in the nation unveiled its roster of candidate for 2006 last week and paraded them in front of reporters at a Washington hotel in what was described as a political version of speed dating. The pro-abortion candidates have a huge hill to climb as their 2004 counterparts fared poorly at the ballot box.
At the luncheon, Emily's List told reporters about this year's slate of candidates -- all women and all Democrats as usual.

The organization is fielding its largest group of candidates in its 21 years history -- but that may be due to recent failures at the ballot box.

Through its members, the group donated $11 million to pro-abortion candidates in 2004 and raised more than $30 million to fund its own grassroots activities. But the money, which turned the group into the largest political donor that year, didn't transfer into success.

Emily's List managed to elect only 39% of the candidates it supported in 2004. The pro-abortion group outspent its pro-life counterpart, the Susan B. Anthony List, by an 8.5 to 1 margin, but 80 percent of the SBA-List endorsed candidates were winners.

However, candidates like New Mexico Attorney General Patricia Madrid, who is running for a seat in Congress, are hoping that this year's tenuous political climate will pave the way for greater success.

The Democratic Party is counting on Emily's List to deliver the goods as it attempts to take control of Congress away from the Republicans. Of the 24 House seats held by the GOP that are considered competitive by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, Emily's List candidates are featured in 11 of them.

Still, the group will need to pull out a new playbook for 2006 as the 2004 elections weren't kind to abortion advocates.

"They won only one out of five senate races last election and they won only five out of 14 house seats and that year was a better year than the previous year for them," Concerned Women for America's Michael Bowman said about the group's 2004 election results.

SBA List candidates defeated six candidates endorsed by Emily's List during the last election cycle

"Our success rate shows that the pro-life issue is a winning issue," SBA List director Jennifer Bingham told LifeNews.com at the time.

Some of the pro-abortion candidate's Emily's List is backing this year include Peggy Lamm in Colorado, Maria Cantwell in Washington, Francine Busby in California, Lois Murphy in Pennsylvania, Amy Klobucher in Minnesota and Claire McCaskill in Missouri.

ANDREA CLARK'S SISTER MELANIE POSTS AT
DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND

My sister and I would like to continue to help on this
issue. Democrats and Republicans are united on this
one--on this issue, we are all "just Americans."
Wonderful, rich in heart and spirit, Americans. Let's
do battle for our brothers and sisters, together, on
this one, shall we?

Below is a post I made on Democratic Underground. It
is a place to continue this fight for life, I think.
One life at a time....

Dear Fellow DUers:

Some of you might remember me from my posts about my
sister, Andrea Clark. For those of you who don't, my
sister had heart disease and, under the Texas Futile
Care Law, the hospital she was in was trying to "pull
her plug." The hospital, St. Luke's Episcopal, in
Houston, Texas, finally backed down, by helping to get
another doctor on staff there, to consent to treat
Andrea. About a week later, my sister died. She died
with her family around her, and at her own natural
pace. My family had a fight on it's hands in order to
stop St. Luke's from killing Andrea, but both the
Democrats and the Republicans got together and helped
us.

Now that you've been brought up to speed, I have a few
other things to tell you about this subject: My
sister is not the only patient that a Texas hospital
is trying to kill. This happens all the time, but
most of the time it is not publicized. Most of the
time, a family, with their hands full just trying to
care for their loved one, is met by doctors who have
forgotten their oath to do no harm, and who pressure
the family to agree to withdraw treatment from the
patient. I am sure that most of these doctors truly
believe that what they are doing is "compassionate,"
but I believe, as many others do, that no one who does
not have a personal relationship with the patient
should step into the very personal position of making
these kinds of decisions for the patient, or for the
family. The right to die has been subverted, because
of this law, and because of the insurance companies'
and hospital corporations' love of money, to a DUTY to
die.

I submit to you, as well, that the people of this
country will not be able to take their country back
unless and until they come together, united in
purpose. There are many purposes that do not unite
us, but instead divide us. This is not one of those
wedge issues. This is an issue that can bring
Republicans and Democrats together. The more issues
of this kind that you find and that you unite to work
on, the louder all of our voices become; it is in this
uniting that we, the people of this country, will find
our strength.

WHAT ABORTION DOES TO ONE'S SOUL
With gratitude to the author!

What Abortion Really Looks Like

Julie,

You have my total permission to re-print my story. If it helps stop any one from making this horrible mistake, or helps anyone who has made this mistake, I am all for it.

Hello whoever you are,

I guess I'm just reaching out to tell my story, or maybe get this off my chest, to warn other people. I am a " sinner, baby killer and whore". I was never told how much I would hurt after this. I was never told that I would re-live the event everyday. I was never told I could feel the life being sucked from my womb. They made it sound easy, simple, painless and made it sound all right.

It is regret. It is feeling dirty.

Had I known it would hurt so much emotionally. I would not have proceeded. Had some one told me, that this would be stuck with me forever. I would never have entered the clinic.
It has only been two days since my mistake.

Friday night my now ex boyfriend was arrested for domestic violence charges against me. He had hit me several times. I was six weeks pregnant. I was given council about what I could do and what not. I had spoken with a "friend" and she said " Get an abortion, you'll hate the kid forever"

Saturday morning I found myself outside of the planned parenthood facility. It was the day before mother's day. It was a fact that hit me moments before entering. There were many people trying to hand me literature. One with a rosary, one young lady yelled at me " It's ok, you can be a mother". Her words ran through me like electricity. It made the decision so much harder.

After being in the clinic for about two hours I was finally called in. I could not afford the anesthesia, so I was awake the entire procedure. They told me I would feel a little pressure. It felt as if someone was ripping me open. "You'll feel a little prick and numbness" I felt the needle, and still felt the pain. I screamed. I tried to hold the nurses hand, but she had pulled away. I felt every move that doctor made. I heard them vacuum the child from my womb. When it was all over, and too late, they just handed me a maxi pad and a damp cloth and walked out of the room. Having a bad reaction to the Novocain they injected into my cervix, cramping beyond no pain I've felt before, I put my clothes back on, silently. I was then escorted into a recovery room.

I was provided a pill that would shrink my cervix back to normal, and two extra strength Tylenol. Every other woman in the room was in shock. We laid there, heating pads over our stomachs, all regretting what we did. It was a common feeling in the air. Tears were shed. The nurses, they attempted to lighten the room. It made no difference. We killed our children. We gave into this horrible idea that it wasn't a person, that it was ok to murder.

I sit here today, incapable of going to work. I see people walking down the street, I know they have no way of knowing, but I still feel so awful.

If someone would of only gotten to me before I even was pregnant, before I even graduate high school. It would be different.

I wanted that child. It was never a mistake, a child is never a mistake. Getting rid of it was.

I wish I knew about your site before this.

SEDATE, WAIT, INITIATE!
ANDREA CLARK'S SISTER, LANORE, AGREES!
Bioethicking death Protocol:

Leslie,

This is exactly what happened to Andrea. The night before they initiated the "pain management" program, Andrea told me, "I miss you." This, despite the fact she'd had a "devastating" bleed in her brain a couple of weeks before. Beginning the day the hospital began their pain management program, I lost more and more of my sister. The first week she was still communicating, though she was knocked out. Every week after, her communications grew more faint and more far between. By the last week, she seemed to be gone somewhere else, even though her pain meds had been cut considerably by her new doctor.

You're right. This is exactly what they do. Why is this not considered murder? If giving a patient an overdose of pain medication to cause death is unethical, which I was told by the chief ethicist at St. Luke's, that it is indeed unethical, then why is a slow overdose to cause death any more ethical? Is it more ethical because it's harder to prove? Is ethics just a matter of evidence?

PRAY AND ACT TO SAVE KELLY MEYER
Prevent another Terri starvation!

"Thank you. I'll start on the e-mail now, and make a call first thing in the morning. Do you think it would also be a good idea to call MO Right to Life (573-635-5110)?"

Good. I think helping others is something Terri would have wanted us to do, and more importantly, God wants us to help others.

It wouldn't hurt to call MO RTL. They might have some suggestions.

To All: If there are any especially good knowledgeable talkers among us, please call Westchester House at 314-469-1200, and ask to speak with Kelly Meyer's family to tell them how tough it is to die by dehydration.

PRAY FOR JOHN COSTA!

John Costa's Fight...
Sedate, Wait, and Initiate...

This is our personal and very good friend. In previous recent posts, I told what is happening to our closest friend's uncle. He is being killed in the usual way, off life support, attached to a drip tube which is steadily increasing, and helpless, too sedated to fight for his life, without a drop of nourishment, and dehydration.

Before his very recent accident, a blow to the head, he was robust, strong, healthy. Even after the accident, he was lucid, conscious. We would suppose most physicians to treat such an injury as serious but not with the radical invasive action the medical staff took. They insisted on sedating him heavily and a mishap occurred, a turn for the worse, apparently related to being sedated and being on blood thinner medication. Further mishaps included opening his trachea, resulting in infections and a high dose of antibiotics.

As we understand it, his insurance ran out. It appears the Hospital has no more use for him and has started their Exit Protocol. They use the usual now familiar platitudes and have pressured his wife into believing he is for all purposes dead. When they pulled the plug on him, however, he continued to survive and his supposedly shut down kidney started re-functioning. The "experts" consider him "brain dead" or PVS, and they moved him from decent quarters to a far more humble area where he gets minimum care. He is getting the usual Terri treatment, no liquids whatsoever, no food, no antibiotics, no help, only morphine and now Demerol in drip, steadily increasing. He has surprised family by his fight to survive, his attempts to communicate, although the doctors hastily explain any movement as reflex.

This causes a division in the family because the doctors have been successful in convincing the wife it is hopeless and to accept the fact he is dying. Other members are outraged because it is obvious to them he is being killed intentionally.

It must be his third day on the Protocol. I do not know if anything can be done to save Uncle Johnny, but this great hospital is dirtying its hands in euthanasia and needs to be put on notice. If anyone would be willing to pressure the hospital and their band of bioethicists, here is the contact info:

ANOTHER FORCED EXIT?
Too many to keep up with!

Rest of the story...

I told the first part of the story earlier of the good friend and uncle of our very close friends. He had fallen off a ladder, bumped his head, complained about it and some time later they called an ambulance. At the hospital, they said they had to put him under sedation and soon as they started, he nearly flat-lined. Then they opened his trachea and put in a tube which infected. Gave him lots of antibiotics and advised his wife he was brain dead and they should pull the tubes.

They said the cause was blood thinners which left his vessels in brain so weak they burst.

She followed whatever they insisted to her and agreed he should be let go since his organs shut down. So a couple days ago they pulled the plug, took him off ventilator, stopped feeding and all liquid.

When family remarked he could see and tried to look around, the doc said it was reflex, that his brain was gone.

To everyone's amazement, he didn't die, but the doc will ensure he can't survive. The doc said he was PVS so could not feel pain, but explained the need for morphine drip just in case.

In this case, it was not courts or rules of the hospital. The poor wife is in shock and acquiesced and the doctor bullied her into submission. After all, doctors are so educated and knowledgeable they must know best. That is how so many of us are conditioned.

We would be unable to convince the wife otherwise. She is devastated and trying to force it from her mind and not think of it. Our good friend will die as did Terri, most likely of dehydration.
Our close friends understand what happened as do we, but are unable to change this path.

We are praying for Uncle and hope others will too.

FLORIDUH VOTER'S BRILLIANT MOTTO
on Texas' Futile Care Law:

Drug anyone and they can appear to be in PVS. Whatever happened to the premise that people get ill and while in that state, they are usually over medicated and not as responsive. Being drugged by the very people who are abusing Texas' futile Futile Care law is why they are using the PVS lie.
Did you hear the horror stories I did about people who went into H. Woodside and a week later, they were much worse, completely incoherent and the lucky ones were pulled out of there by relatives who didn't believe the "no hope" lies.

ANDREA CLARK'S SISTER'S UPDATE ON MS VO

I was in Austin this weekend and asked Jerri Ward (the lawyer who represented my sister, Andrea Clark, and who is also representing Mrs. Vo) if I could go see Mrs. Vo. She thought it was a good idea and she met me up there Sunday morning. We were escorted to Mrs. Vo's room by her husband, Mr. Tran.

Before I was allowed in the room, a nurse stopped us at the door and demanded to know who I was. I told her I was a friend of the family. She wanted to know what "kind" of friend I was. I told her I was an "important"
friend of the family. She said if I was media she couldn't let me in. This didn't seem right to me, but I didn't argue the point since I wasn't media. I assured her I was not media. We washed and gowned and went in to see Mrs. Vo. The nurse hovered in the room and about the door for most of the visit.

We weren't there five minutes and another hospital official along with a security guard came into the room and handed me a business card. She told me I'd have to call the administrator on the card and identify myself. Is it just
me or is this sounding Gestapo to you too? I asked her if she was telling me I couldn't visit the patient if unless I called this person. She started crabwalking a bit..."I'm just saying you are to call..." I demanded to know if she was telling me I couldn't visit the patient. Then the security guard interrupted and said he thought there was some kind of misunderstanding and he drew the woman back out into the hall to talk in low tones--after a few minutes they disappeared down the hall.

By this time I was fairly livid. I wanted to visit with Mrs. Vo and they kept interrupting. After another five minutes, here comes ANOTHER hospital official to verify that I was not
media. I don't know what's wrong with those people. Are they stupid or something? Are they calling me a liar? How many times do they have to be told I am not media? And even if I were, it's none of their business if the family wants me there! I mean, is Mrs. Vo a patient or a prisoner?

Mr. Tran loves his wife so much. The entire time we were there he rubbed her skin with oil, did range of motion exercises on her, cleaned her mouth, suctioned her mouth and vent. Oh...the nurse was mad about that...she was so rude.

Mrs. Vo is much healthier than Andrea. She's nice and fat and her skin is beautiful--not all broken down like Andrea's. She watches you with her eyes--despite the nurse telling us that "she can't track." Nonsense. She
probably is uncooperative with the hospital because she knows they don't care about her. She was "tracking" her husband, me, and Jerri just fine. The nurse got mad when Mr. Tran swabbed out his wife's mouth. The nurse
said, "I just did that." He ignored her and continued to care for his wife, so the nurse started complaining to us about it. Jerri asked the nurse if it would hurt if he cleaned out his wife's mouth. She hesitated, then she said, "Well, she doesn't like it." Sure enough, Mrs. Vo was making an ugly
face as her husband swabbed her mouth. Well, apparently, the patient has preferences about having her mouth cleaned. To me, this says she is responding to her environment. And even the nurse admitted that.

No one can convince me that Mr. Tran isn't experiencing a feeling of love as he cares for his wife or that Mrs. Vo isn't experiencing the feeling of being loved as he takes care of her. Those are the most exquisite of all human experiences--if Mrs. Vo still has access to the best of all human experiences, how can it be anything other than pure murder for them to remove her life support?

This is all becoming very surreal to me...how is it that hospitals seem to feel a sense of entitlement when it comes to killing off patients? How is it that they have so much resentment towards those who believe in a patient's right to life? Are they so comfortable with the God-like power attributed to them by the law and families that they become apoplectic at the very notion that someone might question their authority?

That kind of power is very dangerous to anyone who could possibly become a patient. Texas isn't the only state with medical futility laws. We all need to be fighting this battle.

Thanks for posting this,
Lanore Dixon

Media Silent On Ru-486's Nazi Death Camp Pedigree
from http://www.newsmax.com
Oct. 2, 2000
Reprinted with permission

Lost in all the commentary on last week's FDA approval of the abortion pill RU-486 is an inconvenient and extraordinarily chilling detail about the company that invented the drug, Rousell-Uclaf.

Rousell, based in France, developed RU-486 in the 1980s, and after extensive testing the French government approved it for use in 1988. But Rousell's West German parent company, Hoechst AG, did not.

Hoechst had two problems with the idea of making easy abortions available to a mass market. Not only was abortion illegal in largely Catholic pre-unification West Germany, but RU-486 was sure to conjure up memories of the darkest chapter in German history - the Holocaust.

The chiefs at Hoechst AG, now one of the largest chemical companies in the world with over 145,000 employees, did not want their overseas customers to be reminded - or perhaps learn for the first time - about Hoescht's direct link to the National Socialist (Nazi) death camps of World War II.

Hoechst itself was born of the Nuremberg War Tribunal, which disbanded its precursor, the Nazi chemical giant IG Farben. The tribunal convicted twelve Farben executives of war atrocities, including "crimes against humanity, murder, extermination and enslavement."

Hoechst, Bayer and BASF became Farben's direct postwar corporate descendants.

Farbenworks factories at Hoechst, Degesch and Leverkusen worked overtime producing toxic gases for the Third Reich, including the deadly agent Zyklon B - the very poison that was used to exterminate millions in Hitler's gas chambers.

The Buna Rubber facility at Auschwitz was also part of Farbenworks' Nazi operations, which even included a special corporate concentration camp at the site known as Monowitz. But Monowitz was just one of several slave labor camps operated by Hoechst's corporate ancestor throughout the Nazi empire before Hitler's defeat in 1945.

No wonder today's pro-abortion journalists don't want to remind their readers about the connection between America's new abortion pill and the deadly history of the company that invented it.

Has the Abortion Pill been Pushed on America?
By David Brody
Capitol Hill Correspondent

CBN.com – WASHINGTON – Did the Clinton administration cross ethical lines in pushing for the approval of the RU-486 abortion pill?

Confidential memos uncovered by the watchdog group, Judicial Watch, show President Clinton and his staff took unprecedented steps to get the drug on the American market. Since its approval, the drug has been linked to the deaths of a number of women.

So far, it’s been on the market for six years. Now, doctors, relatives, and members of Congress want it banned after five questionable deaths and hundreds of injuries. All along, conservative groups have claimed short cuts in the approval process, and that the abortion pill was rushed onto the market.

"We've always been incredibly concerned about the way this drug was approved,” said Lanier Swann of Concerned Women for America. “It was put on the fast track, and that's actually putting it mildly."

The group Judicial Watch went straight to the source, obtaining more than 100 documents from the Clinton Presidential Library. What they found suggests Clinton himself helped get this drug into the hands of women here in America.

"You can read the documents for yourself. What they say flat out is that this is the equivalent of a pro-abortion jihad to bring this about,” Judicial Watch’s Christopher Farrell said.

RU-486 was developed in France, but the memos suggest the Clinton administration wanted it so badly in the U.S. that in his first official act as president, he sent a memo to his Health and Human Services secretary Donna Shalala saying this: "I direct that you promptly assess initiatives by which the department... can promote the testing, licensing, and manufacturing in the United States of RU-486."

"President Clinton put this pill on the fast track for approval to appease the abortion lobby," Swann added.

The drug's manufacturer and parent company had reservations about bringing RU-486 here. They didn't want to be held responsible for any financial lawsuits.

One memo shows how HHS Secretary Shalala and the FDA commissioner at the time, David Kessler, played a persuasive role. It said, "Both Dr. Kessler and I have taken steps to persuade Roussel, Uclaf and Hoechst to change their position."

In another memo, it appears Shalala even tried to get the companies governments involved saying, "The French and German governments might be displeased to learn that their companies are not accommodating a request made by the United States government."

"There's been this big lie that RU-486 was not a political decision or wasn't pressured through politically. That's a lie,” Farrell said. "This is not my opinion. These are Clinton administration documents. Read them for yourself."

These documents come a year after a CBN News investigation showed that the majority of members on the advisory committee that approved RU-486 had direct ties to the abortion industry. The FDA chairman at the time, David Kessler told us the committee process was fair.

"Let me assure you there was no agenda other than making sure that the very best science, that the best experts in the country look at the question,” Kessler said.

Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) told us he's always been skeptical.

"You would hope that the FDA Drug approval process would not be a politicized one because people's health is at risk and yet it looks like it was in this case," Brownback said.

This issue is getting minimal traction on Capitol Hill. A bill that would pull RU-486 off the market has been around for years. There have also been several hearings, including one next week. But for the most part, the FDA has resisted calls to pull the drug.

However growing medical evidence is at least forcing the FDA to take another look. Meeting in Atlanta Thursday, they focused in on the deadly infections caused by the pill. Conservative groups hope that hearing will lead to some sort of action. They're not holding their breath.

"The question here has become how many women have to die before it’s enough?" Swann asked.

Don't forget, you were once a former FETUS!

Fetus found in Rialto sewer plant
Associated Press
RIALTO, Calif. - A male fetus was found lodged in the filtering system of the city's wastewater treatment plant.

Tuesday morning's discovery led to the plant's closure and police were called. Authorities initially considered the discovery a homicide but a coroner's pathologist later determined the fetus was so small that it could not have survived outside the womb, police said.

"At this point, with the pathologist's determination, we are no longer considering this a criminal offense," said police Detective Kurt Kitterle.

Authorities believe the fetus was flushed into the sewage system because it was found in a bin that holds solid waste, Kitterle said. Most of the sewage that flows into the plant comes from Rialto, with small amounts generated in the nearby cities of Fontana and Bloomington, police said.

No autopsy is planned, Kitterle said.

INDUSTRY LIES ABOUT ABC LINK!

Dear Friends:

The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) has nominated the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer for a new "award." It's called the "Golden Boob Award."

Breast cancer is a serious issue; not one to be made light of. Possibly, a cancer group's use of the word, "boob," to refer to the breast will be especially offensive to breast cancer patients and survivors.

The Coalition has publicly challenged the NBCC to a debate on the abortion-cancer link. A public debate involving experts on both sides of the issue will permit women to decide for themselves who is telling the truth about the abortion-cancer link.

Action Item: Offer your comments to the NBCC.

THE INCOMPARABLE REPRESENTATIVE HARVEY TELLS THE COLORADO HOUSE THAT GIANNA JESSEN SURVIVED
A LATE TERM SALINE ABORTION!
GIANNA JESSEN STUNS THE COLORADO HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!!

Gianna sang the Star Spangled Banner and was introduced on the state house floor today and Rep Harvey explained that she had been a late term abortion
by Planned Parenthood.

There will be a resolution honoring the 90th anniversary of Planned Parenthood debated later today!

You could have heard a pin drop when Ted mentioned she had been aborted after the standing ovation they had given her for her song.

Ted's parting shot was "I just wanted to put a face on the celebration of PP"
He told about the late term abortion by saying "I'm Ted Harvey not Paul Harvey but I do want you to know the rest of Gianna's story!!"

Leslie Hanks
720-394-8946

Gianna stumbled on the words a bit and said she was so nervous but she got
her bearings back and carried on with the whole legislature joining her.
She had to lean on Ted as she sang due to her frailty from the CP.
What a moment!!!!!

I have photos to share.
Leslie,

Andrea passed away peacefully a little before 3pm
today, with her family and her friends at her bedside.
We love her so very much and we are going to miss her
terribly. We hope that the battle that we fought for
our sister will bring to light and bear witness to the
horrible acts committed in the name of ethics in
hospitals across the state of Texas.

The fact that we had to fight this battle is both
frightening and a sad commentary on the so-called
"ethics" now being practiced in medical facilities in
this state. The battle for life is a difficult one,
in the best of situations, but when a family is put
through what we had to go through at such a time, it
is especially agonizing.

We wish so much that we could have spent more time at
our sister's side, when she was living and fighting
for her life, rather than having to visit our
attorney's office, give interviews to radio and
television stations to let the public know of the
atrocity about to befall Andrea, and literally stand
outside the hospital and beg them not to kill our
sister. In attempting to deprive Andrea of the most
basic of her human rights--life--St. Luke's Hospital
managed to deprive her family and her of that which is
most dear to us all, when we are faced with the death
of a loved one: a proper goodbye.

How, in the name of God, anyone can call putting
someone to death when they are at their most helpless
and begging for their lives "ethical," we cannot
imagine.

From the mighty prayer warrior Pegita (on Freerepublic)

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that there is none other than You who holds the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10. How we praise You, Merciful Father, that Your mercy has overshadowed all attempts to end Andrea's life ... that You have sent others to minister to her ... that You have brought her back from the brink.

How we cry out to You, O God, that You will again intervene for Andrea and her family, not because of merit, but because of mercy. May Your healing manifest itself in blood pressure that can be sustained without medicines ... in the total disappearance of any manifestation of infection ... in a return to a measure of health that will astound, and convict, those who sought to remove her from our midst. Give ear to our plea for a miracle, O God, to the everlasting Glory and Honor of Your Name. Grace Andrea's medical team with wisdom and skill from on high, that they might be instruments of Your healing.

Take pity upon the heart of Andrea's beloved sister ... have mercy upon each one who has whispered Andrea's precious name before the Throne of Grace ... set before an unbelieving world that Creator God walks among His people ... draw near, Blessed Savior, that Andrea might touch the hem of Your garment and be healed.

Let our hearts not be broken again as they were for our beloved Terri, but strengthen and encourage Your children to continually defy the Merchants of Death, in the Power and Strength of God Almighty.

Hear our prayer, O Lord ...
Hear our prayer, O Lord ...
Incline thine ear to us
And grant us thy peace. Amen ...

PRAYERS FOR ANDREA CLARK!!!

Leslie,

Andrea had her gall bladder drained yesterday and now
she seems to be getting worse. The doctor thought
that she had a block in her gall bladder, but found
nothing.

Since then, Andrea's white count, which is a signal of
infection, has increased and her blood pressure has
dropped so much that she has had to be put back on the
pressor medications that are so hard on the rest of
her organs.

Her doctor, Dr. Lentz, tells us that unless a miracle
happens, he doesn't expect Andrea to live more than a
few days now.

Please pray for Andrea. She needs all the help that
she can get to get through this.

Tienemin Square Redux

China dissident Harry Wu, stood on Colorado’s State Capitol grounds challenging Governor Bill Owens and Chinese Prime Minister, Zhu Rongi’s trade fest inside nearly a decade ago. Last month, Wenyi Wang stood up to another, newer Chinese dictator at a recent Whitehouse ceremony, embarrassing President Bush.

Although Dr. Wang’s shouts to President Hu, that “his days are numbered,” were mostly portrayed by media outlets as the ranting of a madwoman, her courageous challenge may be viewed by historians as another shot heard round the world.

Wenyi Wang sought to alert the listening world to the horrific practice of killing prisoners for their organs sold to wealthy westerners. Specifically, she described the plight of practitioners of Falun Gong, a spiritual movement followed by thousands in China.

As Harry Wu had described earlier in Colorado, political dissidents of all stripes, are routinely executed for transplant tourism. Mr. Wu spent years in the Laogai, the Chinese equivalent of the Gulag, and hoped to educate America about
the plight of Chinese citizens who challenged the brutal Chinese regime.

Video of prisoners lined up in town square and shot in the head was so shocking and horrifying that most were paralyzed by their disbelief that such barbarism could exist in the 20th century. The medical vans wisking the organs to awaiting
recipients gave credence to the insanity of the claims, yet brought little to no action.

Last month, Dr. Wang shouted, “President Bush, stop him from persecuting Falun Gong and stop him from killing.”

Clearly embarrassed at this unexpected turn of events, the Bush administration had the good doctor removed and arrested.

Reverend Pat Mahoney noted that it is “outrageous that the U.S. would roll out the red carpet for a dictator known for crushing human rights while pursuing prison for a woman fighting to end religious persecution and violence.”

Wang sees her actions, not as criminal, but as civil disobedience. Charged with harassing a foreign official, she could possibly serve a federal prison sentence in the nation known around the world for protecting the free speech rights granted by God to her citizens.

Investor’s Business Daily marveled at Wenyi’s incredible timing, shouting her challenge at the moment President Bush was asking Hu Jintao to, “let the Chinese people speak freely!”

The outburst was broadcast by CNN, live but according to internet blogger, Matthew Sheffield, the network feed was, “disrupted for China viewers alone.”

Had their access to Dr. Wang’s outburst not been censored, they might have learned of her motives for shouting to President Hu. Wenyi explains, “I hope to immediately stop the crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and rescue those facing the danger of live organ removal.”

When the Constitution Party of Colorado brought Harry Wu to speak truth to Governor Owens, few noted. Now Harry Wu has a valuable ally in the fight for human rights in China.

Noting that there are tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners missing, Wang explained, “When I saw President Bush shake Hu Jintao’s hand, I couldn’t help crying out.”

Dr. Wang went to a congressional hearing the day before the White House ceremony hoping to hear two of her peers testify about Falun Gong concerns. After they weren’t allowed to report on what they knew, Wenyi knew she had to act.

“I cried out for those Falun Gong practitioners, for those who have been or are about to be dissected alive for their organs. I cried out for those who have been tortured and suffered genocidal persecution,’ Wang exclaimed.

Wenyi Wang’s boldness ought to be emulated by America’s elected officials for shouting down a tyrant, while our president apologized for her behavior.

Like the lone man standing before the tank which ran him down, taking his life in Tieneman Square, Wenyi Wang once again demonstrated that the people will lead and the leaders will follow.

“The press reported on what I did at the White House but they didn’t report why I did it, which is key to the whole issue. America is America because of its respect for human rights. I think the massive removal of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners touches and challenges the conscience of each one of us. It is a challenge for humankind. Such crimes and sins should not be allowed to continue.”

“The heart is desperately wicked, who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

ANDREW LONGMAN TO DR. BEVERLY NUCKOLS CLAIM
THAT "TEXAS FUTILE CARE ACT" DOESN'T EXIST!!
columns@andrewlongman.com

Reasonable, Procedural, Justifiable

The reasonable and cogent doctor presents an entirely reasonable and
normative tone in her article "Texas Futile Care Act doesn't exist".
It is reassuring, level, seemingly decent and persuasive that nothing
is deeply wrong.

Unfortunately, this is like the bromides uttered by an MSNBC reporter
after meeting with Sadaam Hussein outside his palace.

The naivete and commitment to the party line is obvious and, indeed,
why not? Don't we all wish that the system and the doctors were
reasonable people, doing reasonable things, carefully following
thoughtful precept with dignity? And so the good doctor intones the
expectation of educated human beings: these doctors are not at all
monsters, they are just doing a reasonable effort towards making
reasonable things work. Sounds great except for the fact that this
is perpendicular to the facts in Andrea Clark's case.

It doesn't matter that the word "futile" isn't mentioned in the law.
It matters that the board considers people futile. It doesn't limit
the activity of monstrous doctors that some conscientious doctors
might not give CPR to someone whose chest would be crushed by it. It
is irrelevant that TADA allegedly doesn't give power to consider the
"quality of life" in determining whether to kill a living patient.
It matters only that now, post-TADA, doctors do it. It does not matter
that doctors and nurses we know wouldn't preclude taking in a patient
whom another hospital had rejected - nurses don't make those decisions,
administrators talking to insurance companies do. It does not matter
that the author thinks a "conspiracy" is necessary to get all the
hospitals in Houston, of which there are heaps within a stone's throw,
a literal stone's throw, of St. Luke's, to deny care; it happened and
it was easy and whatever the heck you call it, it's endemic,
institutional.

It doesn't matter that nice words are written in nice procedures.
It matters that when you give doctors power to kill people, they do it
and they ignore moral truth.

But what does matter can be seen in this, "Much more likely is that the
medical judgements of one doctor and ethics committee are trusted to be
valid by the other hospitals and that the other facilities would reach
the same conclusion..." and in it we can see how the "conspiracy" is
easily maintained: doctors have come to think that doctors are god.

I remember when Grandma was cantankerous. Uncle Bob would tell us that
all we had to do was get a doctor to say it and then in Granny's mind it
became law. Her devotion was cute. But doctors' devotion to the
principle that, since God is not legally in the room then they must be
god themselves, has reached a pandemic scale. The irrational gifts that
society has been bestowing on them - the ability to decide the life and
death of the innocent - is rushing so fast to their head they are in a
perpetual state of red out; blood blinds their consciousness.
And our friend writing says it well: one demi-god believes another.
When one says "she must die" they all defer. It was the same idiocy
with the legal cabal in Florida when Greer murdered Terri Schiavo slow:
Greer ruled "she must die" so we, the bar, all believed. After all, is
he not an infallible like unto us?

Indeed, conspiracies are easily sustained by collusion. They are
all sunk to the same music and unaware of a world outside their own
judgement. And that is why it is especially wicked for another doctor
or hospital not to review it. Such turns the decisions of the MD class
not into matters of science, but into matters of spiritist utterance.
Science is a matter of constant cross-examination, questioning, and
objective verification. Death sentences unchallenged are rites of human
sacrifice. Any doctor asked who wouldn't object and want to review
Andrea's case is a criminal-priest, not a scientist.

It is really amusing that the writer goes on to say that it just
isn't necessary to transfer Andrea to a hospital where they don't want
to murder her even a little bit. After all, the writer notes, if
another hospital can be found, the first hospital loses all legal right
to murder her. In light of the fact that the writer has just told us
that, due to professional deference, it is virtually assured that all
other hospitals are going to conclude the same as the first one, we
have to wonder what her goal is? All other hospitals will say she's
futile, there's no need to move her to another hospital because this
first hospital will protect her if another can be found, and no other
hospitals will be found because they will all agree with the first one.
So in asserting she doesn't need to be moved, the writer asserts there
is no reason to save her life because the judgement has been
professional.

But the self-referent madness spills out of this narrative. This doctor
who is writing, like all the others, are about, exclusively, preserving
the purview of authority for their profession and defending all
arbitrary increases of that authority. The new breed of doctors gets
high on the fact that, in a secularised society, they are the new
demi-gods, the ones with power over life and death of the innocent. So
here we have someone trying to protect this power. How distasteful.

The closing clause is highly indicative of this self-worship, this
concept that "we doctors are the only intelligent source of consequence
in the room". On discovering that Andrea reverses course, fails to
die, fails to allow herself to be killed, the doctor writes, "I would
sure want to reevaluate my earlier decision and celebrate if the care
given by myself and my colleagues had been more successful than we
predicted." The care from ME and MY COLLEAGUES! Ha! It had
NOTHING to do with ANDREA'S FIGHTING SPIRIT or GOD'S SOVEREIGN DECISION
eh? Of course maybe the doctor reflects on those as quaint
afterthoughts but certainly not as a matter of FIRST CONSEQUENCE.
The maxim holds: doctors are gods. All else is psychology. And note
that the only reason for reevaluating a decision to kill a woman is
that the woman accidentally recovers. Reevaluation has nothing to do,
again, with the fact that ANDREA WANTS TO LIVE AND HER FAMILY WANTS HER
TO LIVE AND HER FAMILY BELIEVED SHE COULD RECOVER. It's all "me"
focused: I believed I will reevaluate My diagnosis so I can learn
something and I will be surprised about how My treatment worked.

It used to be that medicine was patient focused. Now its all about
the free religious expression of doctors. And their religion is them.

Ultimately what all this does is attack society. A small and then
growing number of doctors will arbitrarily kill people. This will lead
to it becoming institutional. People will inevitably protest, slam the
doctors, just as I am now doing. The good doctors will protest, the
bad ones act offended. A natural split between doctor and patient will
grow until we are like the Netherlands: armed guards sitting at the foot
of the bed to defend the patient against the hospital staff. In time
this will result in open violence: a family member who has seen their
loved one murdered and who has no legal recourse will satisfy justice
via the vigilante. And this is the loss and break down of society.
We are seeing the similar loss of confidence in the judiciary.

All of this can be corrected and avoided by simply returning to
normative medical and judicial ethics. "Do no harm" is an excellent
place to start. In other words, doc, you care for them till the bitter
end and you let God be God - as though he knows when to take
one of his creatures home. We destroy our very fabric of social order
when we legally require doctors to abandon the Hippocratic oath. We
assault the institutions of government when judges or legislators may
decree that the innocent must be killed.

I would much rather hear this doctor issue a level, thoughtful, educated
review of how giving the power to murder to a physician is evil and
leads to social rupture and medical incompetence. Indeed, what does a
healer say about a healer who has turned to committed killing? What does
it lead to more and better of, healing or killing?

Killing.
FROM ANDREA'S SISTER LANORE DIXON

"The millions of prayers that have been offered on Andrea's behalf have yielded joyful results! We are delighted to report that St. Luke's hospital has decided to do the right thing and has dropped the futility process that was looming over Andrea's life. A new doctor has taken over her care and is working with a dedicated team of specialists to help Andrea get well. She still has very serious health problems and is facing gallbladder surgery possibly as soon as tomorrow.
Please keep Andrea in your prayers and know that your prayers, calls, emails and letters helped save her life. The family is grateful for all you have done."

Lanore Dixon,
Sister of Andrea Clark
MY PRAYER FOR ANDREA CLARK!!

Praise God for this good report!!!!!!!!

I'd still feel better if she was able to be cared
for elsewhere, but this sounds like progress.

Any idea whether the radio show generated
any extra pressure today?

Father God, we praise you for you are Andrea's
ultimate healer.

We thank you for all who have risen to the challenge
to ensure that dear Andrea receives the care she
deserves.

We pray for her continued improvement, that she
might be able to shout your name from the rooftops
and be a mighty voice for a return to sanity in
American
medicine.

Lord use this precious one for your Glory!!

Might she be used by you to renew the mission
of hospitals to that of giving, caring and restoring
instead of neglecting and killing!

In Jesus name,

Amen and Amen
ANDREA'S SISTER IN RESPONSE TO MY PRAYER

Andrea made history when she was five years old and
was one of the first patients to be operated on using
the heart-lung machine. She might very well make
history again by testifying before the Texas
legislature about how she would have been dead had
this law been followed to the letter.

Andrea is one mean little girl when she's well. I
wouldn't want to be in Dr. Ron Giveon or Dr. Richard
Carpenter aka the abortionist's shoes, if she walks
out of that hospital on her own two feet. Nope, that
will not be a pretty picture for them, I can tell you
that much.

My release on North Country Gazette

Andrea Clark's life hangs in the balance in Houston, Texas as her hospital, St. Luke's, is preparing to remove medical care from her Tuesday, based upon the "ethics" committee opinion that treatment is "futile care" in her case.

Although Andrea Clark has good insurance, the Texas futile care law states that "If either the family does not seek an extension or the judge fails to grant one, futile treatment may be unilaterally withdrawn by the treatment team with immunity from civil or criminal prosecution. [2]"

Is anyone safe in a hospital anymore when the law protects the facility from civil and criminal prosecution for deciding that a person is no longer worthy of living?

Richard Carpenter Jr. should be immediately disqualified from being able to even comment on a matter involving ethics, having spent years terminating the lives of innocent pre-born babies.

Clark's sister, Lanore Dixon, exclaimed, "St. Luke's has agreed not to pull Andrea's life support at least until Tuesday. On Tuesday, a committee of doctors from St. Luke's will meet to discuss how to proceed with Andrea's case. Andrea's new doctor-a doctor who shares our values about the sacredness of life-will take over her care on Tuesday and will fight for her right to live. Let us all hope and pray that the committee meeting on Tuesday is chaired by doctors who have a reverence for life and not a former abortionist like the St. Luke's ethics committee chair.

Our nation is routinely ending innocent lives, like Terri Schindler Schiavo, even when entire families agree completely that they want their loved ones to live.

No abortionist, should even be allowed to sit in on an ethics committee hearing, let alone chair one.
