As a woman who has been vilified for a decade protesting Susan G Komen's Race for the Cure, I'm astounded by today's admission that they have made the decision to stop giving grants to Planned Parenthood!!

This news is HUGE and a long time in coming. Were it not for the diligent work of Lila Rose in determining that Planned Parenthood doesn't even do mammograms, the decision might have been postponed for a lot longer.

This quote from today's Washington Post, is indicative of how Planned Parenthood is on the precipice of the abyss:

The wife of one of America's first legislators to legalizing child killing bemoaned the decision, "The Komen decision was perplexing to Dottie Lamm, a Denver newspaper columnist and breast cancer survivor. She has done fundraising for Planned Parenthood, participated in several Races for the Cure, and serves on an honorary advisory council for the local Komen affiliate.

“It really makes me sad,” said Lamm, wife of former Colorado Gov. Richard Lamm. “I kind of suspect there’s a political agenda that got to Komen ... I hope it can be worked out.”

In 2006, Colorado Right to Life met with Komen officials in Denver along with former Komen board member, Eve Silver.

"Komen Denver board member and chairman of the grants committee, J.P. Pedinielli, and public relations representative, Dana Brandorff, attempted to dissuade CRTL from protesting at the Race arguing that "Planned Parenthood is not a current grantee" of Komen's Denver chapter, and when challenged, added that Planned Parenthood, "might have been a previous grantee." CRTL vice president Leslie Hanks then documented the continued local funding of the abortion provider throughout this decade. Eve Silver showed from Komen documentation that the national organization has given as much as $475,000 in a single year to abortion-provider Planned Parenthood."

"Even if abortion proved beneficial to a woman's health," said Hanks, "government should still prohibit the killing of an innocent human being, because abortion is always wrong."

When asked about why women aren't told about the most avoidable risk for breast cancer, Komen's Brandorff replied, "We tend to focus on the cure... we're focusing our energies on that, rather than the preventative."

After that shocking admission, I'm still incredulous that it took six more years for the truth to trickle out and enough organizations to put on the considerable pressure required for an appropriate business decision to be made.

Last night, U.S. District Judge Philip Brimmer denied the Justice Department's allegation that Kenneth Scott's sidewalk counseling efforts at Planned Parenthood in Denver make it "unreasonably difficult" for patients and employees to get to the clinic. If the Justice Department had proven that Mr. Scott was guilty of their charges, he would have been saddled with a preliminary injunction that would have kept him 25 feet from the driveway. Instead, Judge Brimmer, stated that Mr. Scott is a “sensible man” as he ruled against the injunction.

The process for yesterday’s hearing and the subsequent $10,000 Federal law suit coming later this year has been grueling for both Kenneth and his attorneys. The Federal Government has a battery of lawyers working to protect the abortion industry in Colorado from the truth. If not for the diligent, self-sacrificing work of Rebecca Messall, along with Peter Breen, Tom Brejcha of the Thomas More Society out of Chicago, the outcome yesterday would have been very different.

Mike Wagner, head security guard for Planned Parenthood was a witness against Ken Scott. A video that the government produced as evidence was intended to show that Scott was dangerous, when handing out literature to cars entering the abortion facility’s lot. The video shows Kenneth handing a client an information packet and Wagner driving up behind the vehicle stopped in the driveway. Mr. Wagner testified that he felt “frightened and concerned” when he couldn’t get into the driveway. The incident lasted ten seconds and no police report was filed.

Wagner carries a gun and has extensive military training. He’s a former police officer and now serves as the head of security for the entire Rocky Mountain region Planned Parenthood operation. It makes one ponder what seeing a Planned Parenthood client receiving an information packet could possibly make him panic? Even Judge Brimmer, while explaining his ruling, expressed his doubt about the former police officer’s credibility. For these reasons, Mike Wagner is the reluctant recipient of “Best Hostile Witness of the Day” award.

When questioned by Scott's lawyer, Mike Wagner, said he wasn't aware of any fender-benders because of Scott. Ironically, there was quite a wipe out two years ago during a snow storm as Mr. Wagner raced around the corner at Planned Parenthood and plowed into two cars. Both of the cars belonged to pro-lifers who were praying across the street from the abortion facility.

Ken Scott’s witnesses were exemplary. Binette Bah in particular, caught the attention of the court when she entered the room to testify with her four year old daughter. Cute little Binette was heading to the witness stand following her mom but had to be directed to sit in the gallery. The entire courtroom watched as she stood in her seat to see her mommy.

On the witness stand Binette was asked how she knew Ken Scott. “I met Ken Scott at Planned Parenthood the day I went for an abortion.” Before Binette finished her testimony she instructed the people in the courtroom to look at her daughter and said, “If it weren’t for Ken Scott I would not have my daughter today.” When Binette left the witness stand little Binette ran to her mom and hugged her. It was a sweet sight to behold.

KPOF, a local Denver Christian radio station, has consistently invited Ken and Jo Scott to their program for almost a decade. KPOF hosts, Roy Henchke and Denise Washington Blomberg, told Ken that since they have been broadcasting the events at the abortion mill their listeners view the pro-life ministry differently than they had in the past. The audience has invested their prayers in the ministry and they are genuinely concerned about the welfare of the sidewalk counselors. No longer does the Christian community view the pro-lifers at the abortion mills as judgmental, aggressive or hateful. KPOF is changing the world for Jesus and helping to save the lives of innocent baby boys and girls while offering a very important outlet for the truth to be shared.

The U.S. Justice Department, under Barack Obama, is targeting free speech outside of abortion mills in at least seven states. In doing so, they are jeopardizing the lives of thousands of children and their moms. Do not be deceived, free speech everywhere is at risk when the government decides who is allowed to speak and where that government approved speech is allowed to take place.

ICYC ~ In Case You're Curious

As if things in Denver aren't sick and sordid enough in Denver with the Twilight Zone tale of a "National Cop of the Year" apparently turned meth user and alleged exploiter of young men; now local sex abuse enabler, Planned Parenthood, is launching a community outreach program to give your kids advice about their "sexual health."

As the Denver Post reported yesterday, Alice Macklin will head up the community education program ICYC for Planned Parenthood.

A number of questions come to mind . . .

Is MS Macklin a licensed medical professional? Will she be personally responsible for the carnage left in her wake? Will she know the age of the child that is seeking her sexual advice? Is she familiar with the physical, emotional and spiritual risks associated with sexual activity in young teens and even middle school children?

Or will she be an abortion and sexual activity recruiter?

Since Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains is an affiliate of the national "non profit" which killed over 300,000 innocent babies in the womb last year for profit, should moms and dads be alarmed over the possibility their children will be victimized by this new texting out reach marketing program? Absolutely!!

PP spokeswoman, Monica McCafferty, stated on Caplis and Silverman's KHOW drive time show yesterday that their new program encourages kids to talk to their parents ~ one of her funniest lines. Moms have come out of their abortion facility and told stories about being prevented from even talking to their daughters when their grand child is about to be killed.

Will your child's natural, normal and God given inhibitions be mocked and broken down?

Does PP give medically accurate information to their female clients to whom they routinely dispense harmful steroidal agents for "contraceptive" use? Of course not. Do they explain that The Pill has been dubbed a "Molotov Cocktail" for breast cancer by breast surgeon, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi? Do they mention the greatly increased rate of premature birth in women who have had abortions? Do they tell girls that abortion elevates the risk of ectopic pregnancy? Do they share the dirty little secret that abortion of a first pregnancy nearly doubles the rate of breast cancer later in life? The answer is unequivocally NO!!

How many parents of young teens are aware of the numerous under cover stings by Lila Rose which showed that Planned Parenthood routinely fails to report sexual abuse of minors and they tell the girls to call back and not mention the age of their adult abuser, so they can facilitate illicit sexual behavior and sell more abortions down the road.

Colorado's Republican Attorney General, John Suthers' office was made aware of a local sting of Planned Parenthood in 2006 and told Colorado Right to Life that there was nothing to be done.

Illicit sexual behavior? Such a quaint notion, isn't it?

But now that we see how Denver is apparently a hub for human trafficking, one wonders how Planned Parenthood can not be an important cog in Denver's ongoing youth sexual exploitation saga.

If you value your child's life and future emotional health and well being, you MUST warn them of the dangers of having any interaction with this evil, racist organization which preys on the young and vulnerable for profit.

In case you're curious, PP wants your kid sexually active, as early as possible, so they can sell them between 3 and 5 abortions for around $500. a pop.

Pretty good racket if you ask me!

I've been a student of the holocaust and how it parallels the current American genocide on the pre-born for some time but oddly enough, till very recently, I've not realized as fully as I should have how powerfully language was twisted in the dehumanization required for both horrors to prevail. I'd like to thank Life Resources Charitable Trust for publishing their "Word Games" article by life.org.nz, from which I've borrowed generously.

For the past few years I've been grieved in spirit at the notion the pro-abortion forces promote that the baby in the womb is a mere parasite and so of course is worthy of extermination.

"Feminist Naomi Wolf said that "In the quest for the liberation of the female self, the fetus was reduced to nothing more than a parasitic mass." Colorado's very own late term abortionist, Warren Hern, said, " the relationship between the pregnant woman and the fetus "can be understood best as one of host and parasite." From this he defines abortion as a "defense mechanism" against the "local invasion" and accompanying "deleterious effects of the parasite."

A foetus has also been called "an unseen infection," "product of conception," "the pregnancy," "a sexually transmitted disease" and "a cancerous growth". Abortion supporters have stated that abortion is the "preferred treatment" for "unwanted pregnancy" and "an aborted baby is just garbage." Abortion is commonly referred to as a mere "procedure" or "minor surgical operation" and abortionists are often called "service providers."

Just recently, however, have I come across the same terminology used to describe Jews in Nazi Germany to persuade Hitler's followers that they were somehow deserving of their destruction. In The Evolution of Terminology ~ Word Games, they explain, "Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda of Nazi Germany was able to manipulate the thought patterns of an entire nation."

And furthermore, "The German people were, over time, conditioned to dehumanise the Jews and to think of them as, quote, ..."a gangrenous appendix"... "vermin"...and "parasites." Once the victim's full humanity was denied, killing them became easier to justify. "

Transforming the cultural image of God's miraculous creation from the infinitely valuable gift that it is ~

to that of an evil invader is beyond comprehension, but we've seen it before and because as scripture warns in Jeremiah, " The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" we'll continue to see it again and again.

Proverbs 18;21 explains, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

Yet scripture also teaches . . .

"A wholesome tongue is a tree of life" (Prov. 15:4) May we as a nation heed His words of life!

Will Mississippi Change the Course of our Nation ?

Wow! It's been way too long since I've written a post here but I've had my reasons.

I've been blessed to be in Mississippi fighting to get out the vote to pass Amendment 26
to give legal protection to every baby in the womb. What a joy to meet people in the south
who have hearts tender toward God and his Creation, especially the tiny ones in utero.

Standing alongside a marvelous team of Godly men and women, we were so thrilled to take our message to the streets where we were greeted with 20-30 honks for life for every thumbs down.

We were really touched by the fact that even those who aren't supportive of the God-given, inalienable right to life, were so darned nice about it.

Where were the hard hearts we encountered in our Colorado battles to pass A 48 and A 62?

Ok, we did get cussed out by one car of vulgar young college girls but for the most part, we were very well received!

What an amazing experience we had lodging with our 85 year old midwife who escaped Nazi Germany!

Our hostess was not only full to overflowing with hospitality but she ran circles around us younger folks in her state to end the abortion holocaust.

Our gracious new friend and others on our team spent hours talking about the dangers she sees in America that many of us are missing because we are too close to the forest to see the trees.

God alone knows how today's vote will turn out but I'm not willing to stop calling MS voters as long as there is still a chance to get one more to the polls!

For I fear that unless America turns from our wicked ways and stops the shedding of innocent blood, the warning of our new friend's brother's book to our nation may become mandatory reading for this generation and their children to survive.

As my Pastor always reminds us, Personhood is the dagger in the heart of liberalism!!

Ever since learning about the plight of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, I haven't been able to shake the image of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace. Charged with apostasy for his faith in Jesus, Iran is calling for the execution of this innocent man for rejecting Islam.

As the rent a mob is disrupting the normal flow of life in NYC, a young family man faces death, and makes their crazy demands seem beyond petty in contrast to what really matters.

And as former liberal, David Horowitz, notes, "When it comes to publicly protesting the sentences of death row inmates, celebrity outrage for a convicted cop-killer is off the charts, but a Christian pastor in Iran about to die for his beliefs doesn’t even rate a “tweet.” (more . . )

Fortunately, social media is raising awareness and over 50,000 are now advocating for the end of Iran's human rights abuse of this courageous Christian and bold American leaders like Marco Rubio are challenging the international bullies in this excellent speech to congress.

The American Center for Law and Justice is leading a bipartisan effort to save Pastor Youcef, "They are sending a letter to Secretary of State Clinton calling on her to “use all the powers at your disposal” for “swift engagement with the international community to advocate for his release.”

If you have not yet called your representative to insist that he or she stand for religious liberty against this outrageous human rights violation, please do! He may be facing execution today ~ don't leave home without at least praying for this father of two young sons. And, ask yourself if you were faced with this kind of demand for you to renounce your savior or face execution,
how strong would any of us be?

Youcef is a tremendous example to the world of what true faith is all about ~ may his example spark true revival in Iran and around the world.

Obama protest Denver ~ MSM blackout!

OK, if you've followed the action from the state that started the abortion holocaust for very long, you know we never miss an opportunity to protest evil. But if you are looking at the MSM coverage of the current resident of the White House's rally in Denver today, you'd never know that we brought the truth of America's holocaust to the 1,000 in line to hear their "anointed one."

You might read that there were 6,000 in attendance which, IMO, is a beyond ridiculous exaggeration but I digress.

Though our numbers were small, we connected with the majority of the 1,000 who were given tickets and had to wait for their courtesy groping, prior to being allowed into the campaign rally for Jobs, jobs, jobs!!

Not one to face accusers head on, the BHO motorcade entered the venue from the backside so our signs didn't impact our intended target, but nevertheless, he might learn about the cadre of Coloradans who cherish the God given, inalienable right to life of every baby in the womb. So much so, that we speak truth to power and show the ugly truth of America's shameful holocaust at every opportunity, especially to the wicked leaders who are bought and paid for by evil, racist Planned Parenthood!

If you are moved by the fact that the "Leader of the Free World" supported even infanticide by his votes against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, perhaps we can collectively figure out a way to get the new video "180" onto his radar screen!

Apart from such a miracle, all his calls for God to bless America as he takes his jobs bill on the road for his 2012 presidential campaign, ring especially hollow.

God will not be able to bless America, until the slaughter of the innocents stops and the Personhood of the pre-born is established in law.

Mike Marcavage, of Repent America, is leading a national campaign to pressure medical waste companies that collaborate with the abortion industry into ending their contracts with the mills. Stericycle and Colorado Medical Waste Disposal “efficiently” clean up after the bloodshed of the abortion industry in Colorado.

On September 20th, 2011while protesters stood on the street outside the Mayfair Women’s Center, an abortion facility located in Aurora, CO. a Colorado Medical Waste Disposal truck pulled in front of the mill to make a pick up. He exchanged several buckets filled with baby parts (left over parts that Mayfair couldn’t sell for profit) for empty containers to collect the remains of the children to be killed by abortionist Kuseski.

As the truck driver carried the hazardous waste containers to his truck, he realized that pro lifers were taking his picture and he flew into a rage. He spouted all sorts of profanity as he loaded his “morgue on wheels” with the remains of innocent baby boys and girls sacrificed on alter of convenience at Mayfair. The truck was brimming with bio hazardous waste when the driver shoved the remains of the children into the “cradle to grave” tracking truck.

Colorado Medical Waste Disposal’s motto is: “All waste is manifested for "cradle to grave" tracking.” An ironic idiom considering the children that are picked up at Mayfair only experience the cold metal appliances used to pull their delicate bodies into pieces, never the comfort of a cradle.

Mayfair Women Center advertises “Safety, Compassion, Respect” but in reality the mill is well known for its nefarious activities, from grinding the remains of children in a meat grinder and flushing them down the toilet to overdosing Christie Stiles in 1993 leaving her in a coma to this day.

In the October 23, 1999 World Magazine article Ms.Ying Bei Wang, stripped of her medical license, is named as Mayfair Woman’s Center’s “harvester” employed by Anatomic Gift Foundation (AGF). No longer able to perform abortions she satisfied her bloodlust by harvesting aborted children for AGF. See baby parts price list. See fetal tissue consent form.

In the future, Colorado Medical Waste Disposal company will be visited by pro lifers and exposed for their gruesome collaboration with the bloody abortion industry.

Stericycle is a medical waste disposal company operating internationally with a presence in eleven countries. In Colorado, Stericycle leases its trucks from Idealease that is partnered with Mc Candless Truck Center in Aurora CO. Planned Parenthood contracts Stericycle to pick up the remains of the children that are aborted at their abortion facility in Denver. The motto emblazoned on their trucks is “Protecting People, Reducing Risk”. It’s an ironic idiom considering the precious children that they cavalierly cart away to be disposed of as hazardous waste.

Mike Marcavge, of Repent America, heads up the national campaign to expose Stericycle and has made quite a stir within the companies that lease to Stericycle. In the past two years both Ryder and Penske truck rental companies have dissolved their contracts with the abortion mogul due to public pressure from Marcavge’s efforts .

On September 2, 2011 pro lifers took video and photos of a Stericycle truck at entering and leaving the Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Denver. The driver sat on a side road waiting for the rescuers to leave so that he would not be photographed entering the mill but he had a schedule to keep and entered in full view of the sidewalk counselors.

After leaving Planned Parenthood for the day the pro lifers decided to visit Mc Candless Truck Center to expose them for their part in America’s Holocaust. Ron Brock's truth truck circled the business while 10 saints held large graphic signs on the street outside of the business and at the entrance to the Mc Candeless facility.

A gentleman who claimed to own Mc Candless greeted Ken Scott and explained that he had a contract with Stericycle that couldn’t be broken. Ken pleaded with the man to do all that he could to end his relationship with the abortion provider and informed him that Ryder and Penske found a way to get out of their contracts.

Recently Abby Johnson, former director of Planned Parenthood, now pro lifer, related this grotesque story about the Planned Parenthood freezer that held the remains of children waiting to be transported by the medical waste truck. “…I was introduced to our freezer in the POC (products of conception) lab. This was the freezer that held the fetal tissue until the biohazard truck came for disposal. I found out the name for that freezer…the nursery.”

Mc Candless Trucking is participating in the most gruesome crime in the history of this country. Whether we like it or not Planned Parenthood has involved the entire country in its cruel perversions. The postman to the trash man, the phone companies to the public schools, and everyone who pays taxes has been dragged down into the mire of abortion.

Last week's announcement that HHS is mandating birth control without charge, has brought reaction from all quarters and
in an attempt to pretend balance, a Denver based organization, Health Policy Solutions contacted Colorado Right to Life for a comment and their resulting article is most instructive in how the left
censors the input it seeks when it doesn't comport with their preconceived bias.

Of course Planned Parenthood was thrilled as their spokesperson indicates, "Covering birth control without co-pays is one of the most important steps we can take to prevent unintended pregnancy and keep women and children healthy,” Dr. Vanessa Cullins, vice president of Medical Affairs for Planned Parenthood, said following IOM’s recommendation."

But healthy ? Huh?

In response to the query from Heath Policy Solutions about the pros and cons of the mandate, I shared the following information:

Oral contraceptives are declared Group 1 Carcinogens to Humans by the World Health Organization.

Additionally, there is an "abortifacient action" in oral contraceptives, according the the manufacturers themselves in package inserts.

What could be more outrageous than forcing taxpayers to harm women and children with the fruits of our labor?"

Not surprisingly, the article gives far more ink to the three women who are delighted that oral contraceptives will be provided without charge, but when pertinent information provided by opponents isn't included, one wonders if balance was truly the intent.

The article starts with the plight of a young female college student who says, "“I feel like if a woman chooses to be safe and take responsibility for her sexual health, that that should be supported and made easy. It should not be a struggle for any woman,” Carpenter said.' Then of course, the obligatory NARAL and Planned Parenthood representatives are quoted, crowing about how necessary the coverage truly is.

Next, Myung quotes yours truly, "Leslie Hanks, vice president of Colorado Right to Life, said the new law will cause more women to use birth control, which she believes carries “grave health risks.” She and other pro-life advocates assert that the new law will cover abortion-inducing drugs, known as abortifacients – a claim that HHS denies.

“Why do we care so little for the health of women and their innocent children being lost to these abortifacients?” Hanks said.

Pro-life opinion is often sought to give a sheen of "balance" but after being at this for nearly a quarter of a century, I'm growing weary of accepting the crumbs the MSM gives in order to make them look fair.

A few questions come to my mind ~

I gave you the name of a respected breast surgeon, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi who I heard speak at a Human Life International symposium on 50 Years of The Pill last December. Doesn't her claim that oral contraceptives are a, "molotov cocktail" for breast cancer even cause a blip on your radar screen? Did you call Dr. Lanfranchi to learn why she makes such a claim?

Do you care so little for women's health that you and your organization censor pertinent information from them without
investigation?

Does the information about the pill being designated as a class 1 Carcinogen not merit mention? Are women unable to handle the truth?

Finally, if you quote me as being concerned the pill carries, "grave health risks" would it not be fair to mention the risks I shared with you ?

The other point I raised ~ the pill has an abortifacient action, you wrote, "a claim HHS denies." Did you do any research to

Abortionist Randall Whitney Kills innocent little baby boys and girls at Orlando Woman’s Center (OWC) several days a week. Friday, the neighborhood alert team paid a visit to his community. He lives in Port Orange about a mile from the ocean on a cul de sac in an upper middle class house complete with a white picket fence. The streets are lined with gigantic live oaks laden with Spanish moss giving the Sugar Forest sub divisions a mystical storybook feel. Mrs. Whitney walked outside and stood with her two big dogs behind the whitewashed fence to confront Pastor Mark Holick with the fact that her husband is a physician. Her fence may be whitewashed but Mark would not allow her to whitewash Randal’s nefarious occupation. She spoke with pastor Holick for about five minutes but only to convince him that her husband is a fine man. Pastor wasn’t buying it.

Imagine my surprise, when at the end of the OSA church service on Friday night I realized abortionist Whitney was sitting right in front of me. When he got up to walk out just before everyone else, I followed him and asked him if would be willing to talk to me, he answered, “Sure”. He is usually willing to talk to the sidewalk counselors at OWC so it wasn’t a surprising turn of events.

I asked him what he thought of the service, he responded, “It was powerful.” "Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins?" I asked. He said that he didn’t believe that anyone could die for anyone else’s sins. He said that he believes in a god, but a god that is only love. I explained to him if his god loves the rapist and the raped there is no love, just chaos. Jesus loves intensely and he hates those who come against what he loves. I explained that He is always ready to forgive but he is also just and holy. Ps. 5:5, 7:11

Whitney believes in evolution so I asked him about his conscience. I explained, “In order for something to evolve it must have at least a cell, the conscience does not.” He agreed. Then I explained that God wrote the law on our hearts and that knowledge has no cell, or atomic weight. No scientist in the world can explain how all people everywhere innately know the difference between right and wrong. Then I explained to him that God gave him a conscience because thats where God goes to talk to us. I looked him in the eyes and said with conviction, “That is why the first time you killed a child in his mother’s womb, you knew it was wrong.” It was one of the few points I made with the 77 year old abortionist that he did not have an answer for, he just let it go.

He told me that the Bible says nothing about the child in the womb. I quoted Exodus 21:22, “"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follows: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."

He seemed a little shocked at that, but quickly regained his composure and with a superior attitude asked, “You believe in a god like that?” I answered you bet I do. He asked me if I’ve been watching what’s going on in the world. He said that the new democratic rule was leading the world to peace. He was very excited about it. I explained that salvation will not come from legislation. It’s a free gift and it comes from Jesus.

When talking about his abortion practice he said that he believes that he is truly helping women. He says he, “Really loves women.” And that he KNOWS that he is helping them. He refuses to listen to anything to the contrary. Our conversation went on for twenty minutes and what is interesting to me is he sees himself as a messiah of sorts, helping women in these tough times. But at the same time reality has smacked him up side the head lately. He slapped a woman in his office recently and he was arrested for it. He was called to testify at Scott Pendergaft’s trial this past week and he was probably the key witness to sink his colleague.

Whitney is not board certified in 7 critical fields and Pendergraft left him alone with a patient and went home. She complained that they would not give her anything for pain and then left the office, went to a hospital and delivered a child severely damaged by the botched abortion. Finally, he recently had surgery to insert a pacemaker. His whole image of himself may be
shaken and this may be an opportunity to shine the light of Jesus through the cracks in his facade.

Having just spent a week in Orlando Florida with a team of totally sold out to God, no exceptions pro-lifers, I'm encouraged to do a photo essay book of abortionists' homes in the USA titled, "Bought With the Blood of the Innocents"

Operation Save America does a week long rally every summer where they inspire Christians to put their theology into biography on the streets of an American city. During the days, there are large protests confronting the abortion industry and showing the ugly truth of the plight of the pre-born in our country today.

This week was no exception and the Florida abortion industry, Lord willing, will never be the same.

Numerous abortionists whose neighbors likely never knew of their profession, have been exposed for buying their mansions with blood money. Our team did three protests of abortionists in gated communities and one at a million dollar waterfront property in Titusville.

Following our pro-life witness, yesterday, the vast majority of his neighbors in the ritzy enclave are now very aware that his incredible home was purchased with blood money ~ from the fees Florida women paid him to murder their babies.

Xiu's story: Xiu Mei Wei (Shoe Way May) was engaged to a man in China.
The engagement ceremony is a solemn event and taken very seriously.
Xiu's fiancé moved to the U.S. in the nineties and arranged their marriage ceremony. Her fiance picked her up at the airport, told her that he was no longer interested in marriage and abandoned her. When a woman has been betrothed in Xiu's culture, and the man then abandons her before the wedding, she is shunned by her family and her village.

Xiu's dilemma:
Over the next decade since she came to the U. S.Xiu met a Chinese man, married, settled in Oklahoma and now has four children.

Since 2002 Xiu has been petitioning our courts for asylum.
Although Xiu has been living in the United States, China still recognizes her as a citizen and she is held accountable to their laws, including their one child per family laws. Family planning officials
in China have stated to Xiu's parents that if she returns to China she will be sterilized and fined.

Mei became a Christian in 2004 and supports the underground church in China. Only after she spends time in prison and after she pays exorbitant fines would her children be able to receive health care, attend school or be employed.

On November 7, 2008 the 10th Circuit court in Denver ruled that because Xiu's former lawyer mistakenly filed her case in the 5th Circuit Court, she missed filing deadlines in the 10th Circuit and therefore must return to China. Case number 07-9527.

A petition for rehearing has been filed in the 10th Circuit Court. If
the hearing is denied or if asylum is refused, Xiu is subject to immediate deportation.
Please send a letter to Xiu's lawyer to present to the court. Please pray that she will be able to stay here with her family and brothers and sisters in Christ.

In an effort to do something for those who have no voice each day, I submit that the time has come for a huge outcry for another round of Nuremberg Trials for crimes against humanity!

As Wikipedia explains, "The Nuremberg Trials were a series of military tribunals, held by the main victorious Allied forces of World War II, most notable for the prosecution of prominent members of the political, military, and economic leadership of the defeated Nazi Germany. The trials were held in the city of Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany, in 1945-46, at the Palace of Justice. The first and best known of these trials was the Trial of the Major War Criminals before the International Military Tribunal (IMT), which tried 24 of the most important captured leaders of Nazi Germany, though several key architects of the war (such as Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, and Joseph Goebbels) had committed suicide before the trials began."

If the following quotes from Clinicqotes.com can be read without alarms going off in your head that we are about 40 years past the time for demanding that renewed trials be held for these killers and their heinous deeds, then we are truly a society beyond redemption.

Are dismembered babies such an abstraction in the American mind, that it's now considered classy and sophisticated to relegate our posterity to a $50 co-pay death?

Were this Nazi Germany, would "Christians" have been respected for putting on their finest garb to mingle with Mengele and Herr Fuhrer?

As a Republican national delegate in 1992, we fought for the pro-life plank in the platform as has been successfully done in the nearly twenty years hence ~ to what end? Pro life Sidewalk Counselors Fight for the Right to Speak on the Sidewalks of Denver

April 2, 2010 I, Jo Scott, was charged with that harassment, including assault, participating in illegal activities outside a health care facility and following a person in or about a public place and not one police agency contacted me for 42 days of the investigation. When Investigator Chavez contacted me, he informed me that the Denver Police department had alerted me to the investigation. I told him that I had had no contact with the police about the incident and he didn’t believe me, thus began my trip down into “Alice’s infamous rabbit hole”. I told Investigator Chavez that I had no recollection of the woman charging me with the crimes against her because the incident took place over a month before and allegations were false. I knew that I NEVER assaulted anyone. Chavez said that he had viewed a Planned Parenthood video recording of the incident and he saw me assault the victim Laura Brown and that there was an eye witness to assault.

Corporal Scudder of the Denver police department was summoned to mill to view the video and he also saw me assault Ms. Brown. The eye witness Catherine Alderman, vice president of Planned Parenthood public affairs, just happened to be driving by at the exact moment that I “assaulted” Ms. Brown and witnessed the whole thing. If you watch the video as the car drives by, my hands are in my pockets but that did not stop Alderman from lying under oath.

Under oath both Scudder and Alderman acted out a two handed assault and the actions that Ms. Brown had to take in order to free herself from my grip. Nothing is as it seems in “Alice’s Wonderland”.

One insane thing after another happened during the trial. Laura Brown wrote in her initial police report that she was afraid to drive by us so she parked a block and a half away and walked by us. Then a week before the trial she submitted a second statement recounting that she parked a block and a half away because she didn’t know that there was a parking lot at Planned Parenthood. Yet, during the trial, under oath, she testified that she had been there three times before.

The judge that presided over my case is on record for contributing to several abortion mills in Colorado and she is a member of that the “Association of Women Judges” that publicly opposed the Personhood Amendment 62 in Colorado while I worked to get it passed. She refused to rescues herself saying that she would be able to be fair. When my lawyer, Terry O’Malley, presented motions loaded with first amendment case law undermining the Colorado laws that they were using to quash my free speech rights Judge Claudia Jordan denied each motion without thought or legal reason why. Then, shockingly, she asked the DA to write up something as to why she ruled the way she did.

In his opening statement the DA said that I had cussed at Laura and called her a whore while assaulting her. It was difficult to listen to a DA accuse me of doing things that I
detest.

Laura brown wrote in her initial statement to the police that I repeatedly verbally and physically assaulted her. But on the stand she said that my demeanor was calm and worried for her. She admitted that I never called her names or cussed at her. She said, that I said, that she would be participating with murders if she went into Planned Parenthood. That is all that she would say against me. Although she did not testify to it and I do not remember her, I know that I would have offered her free help if she was willing to go somewhere else because that is something that I always offer to women walking into Planned Parenthood.

The Mad Hatter times six sat on my jury. Our culture makes the Alice’s Wonderland look almost normal. The world is a crazy place to be unless you understand that the world hates God and is more than willing to destroy the innocent image of God because of their hate. A woman in Jackson Hole Wyoming recently told me that she had one abortion and nothing that I could do would prevent her from having another. Unfortunately, if she doesn’t repent and come to know the saving grace of Jesus she’ll get to tell her children at the judgment seat why she killed them. Sidewalk counselors have chosen to love the unlovely and embrace the mad hatters of the world because Jesus loves them and he can use us to reach them. He loved us when we were unlovely. Not a one of us deserves what He has done for us.

In spite of the evidence the jury found me guilty of the intent to harass, annoy or alarm another person, repeatedly insulted, taunted, challenged or made communications in offensively coarse language to another in a manner likely to provoke a violent or disorderly response, participating in illegal activities outside a healthcare facility and following a person in or about a public place. I was not found guilty of the assault charge because the video vindicated me. On June 2, 2011 I was sentenced to 180 days in jail suspended, 90 days in jail, 2 years probation, 100 hours community service and about $1,700 in court fees and fines.

As I entered the court house for sentencing, I was approached by a federal marshal and served with a federal FACE civil lawsuit for Ken and I for $35,000.

It looks like things are going to get a little tougher on the sidewalk for a while. Ephes. 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” As long as we remember to love the Judge Claudia Jordans and Laura Browns of the world we will stay on focus and hopefully pull some out of the fire along the way. Then Jesus will get the glory!! Please pray for Ken and I as we have many very important decision to make as we move down the “rabbit hole”.

Watchmen on the wall ~ Denver

Two of America's modern day heros are under severe attack in Denver, Colorado and the Christian church is nearly completely unaware and sadly, uninterested.

Ken and Jo Scott who rescue babies at Denver's death camp nearly every day the killing happens were served
yesterday with a federal lawsuit alleging they have violated FACE ~ Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances.

Jo was in court to be sentenced for an unjust verdict that she "detained" and "hindered" and used language intended to "provoke a response" in front of a "healthcare facility." And so while in court to be sentenced to 270 days in jail with 180 suspended, evil Planned Parenthood and their minions in the BHO "Justice Department" piled on with the FACE lawsuit in order to paralyze the biggest obstacle to their continuous cash flow at Murder, INC!

As Mike Martin who attended Jo's trial noted, "If the case against Jo Scott sticks, anyone carrying a sign that says, "abortion kills children" or displaying a poster showing the results of abortion could be accused of conveying a message likely to "provoke a response." Consequently, presenting the truth about abortion would essentially become illegal since any communication about the subject might "provoke a response."

Back in the good ol' days when lawmakers respected the First Amendment, if someone's words provoked a response, the response had better also be in words. If the responder resorted to violence, he was the one breaking the law. The implication of a law against using words that might provoke a response is that exercising free speech makes you somehow responsible for the other party's lack of self-control. Bad precedent. People are responsible for their own behavior, including how they react to free speech.

The abortion industry has long sought means to outlaw the efforts of anyone attempting to save babies -- to use the color of law to subdue their opposition. Of course, Jo Scott is their favorite target since, over the years, she has convinced at least 1000 mothers not to abort their babies. If the average fee for those abortions was $300, Jo has cost the abortion industry around $300,000. Small wonder she frequently finds herself falsely accused."

According to the Denver Post article which can't be posted in another First Amendment attack on bloggers, Ken and Jo block the entrance to the death camp and tell clients that God hates them.

In my hundreds of hours of rescuing along side these two saints who have saved nearly 1,000 babies from the abortionists knives over the past decade, I've only heard them say "God hates the hands that shed innocent blood" !

The scriptural imprecation to the killing "docs" and their clients is Ken's calling. Would One Saved Life Be Worth It?

"Who would have thought it could happen after the four days of standing for the unborn in Jackson, Wyoming. I know I didn’t. It was Saturday morning and I found some time to organize the signs we were using to depict the glory of life and the gruesome death that befalls the unborn children who have no one to defend them. As I took each sign out and leaned it against the side of the truck I noticed a white SUV driving slowly through the parking lot of the motel where we were all staying. Inside was an attractive woman in her late thirties and a young girl perhaps 10 years old. When the car stopped behind me I wasn’t sure what to expect. It had been that kind of week in Jackson. She asked me if she could speak to me so I walked to the open car window. Her eyes were moist with tears and the little girl with her moved over in between the seats to be next to her mother to listen to us talk.

The mother explained to me that twenty years before she was pregnant out of wedlock and had decided to get an abortion and end her baby’s life. Just a few days before the abortion she had seen a person holding a graphic sign of an aborted baby. Not only did it cause her to consider what she was about to do, but she decided not to kill her baby and today her oldest daughter is 20 years old. She said if it weren’t for people like us who were willing to hold graphic signs, her daughter wouldn’t be alive today. She said that the people who had been willing to hold them 20 years ago had saved her daughter’s life. She said she knew that we had not received much support from prolife people in Jackson or Wyoming and she wanted us to know how grateful she was that we had come to take a stand against abortionist Brent Blue and everyone in Jackson who support a culture of death.

By the time she finished thanking me there were tears in her eyes and in mine. I told her that her gratitude was greatly appreciated by me and that I would share it with the others who had come to Jackson. I told her that it had been a difficult week for all of us, by coming so far and getting such little support, but that we all believed that we had been called to ‘such a time as this.’ She said she was glad she could support us in a small way and again apologized for the lack of support for our efforts. She smiled at me through her tears and drove away. I am convinced that she was sent by our God to encourage us all after a difficult but rewarding week standing for the unborn."

I had the distinct honor of being at Notre Dame during the protests against Barak Obama speaking to the 2009 graduating class. Two images stand out in my mind emanating from that historic event where a Catholic university invited the nation's most pro-death president in a horrendous contrast with all the university should stand for.

Two of the 88 pro-life heros that were arrested made serious statements by their opposition and their vindication is especially sweet!

Dr. Alan Keyes traveled to South Bend with the intent of being arrested, "I will step foot on the Notre Dame campus to lift up the standard that protects the life of the innocent children of this and every generation. I will do it all day and every day from now until the Master comes if need be, though it mean I shall be housed every day in the prison house of lies and injustice that Obama, Jenkins and their minions now mean to construct for those who will never be still and silent in the face of their mockery of God and justice, their celebration of evil"

Dr. Monica Miller was a woman on a similar mission. She was adamant that she was going to show the ND graduates the images of broken babies that she retrieved from the trash behind a Michigan abortionist's mill. She was insistent that she was going to break past the police line to force the graduates in line to see what the president stands for, despite the cost.

Very few Americans are willing to put it all on the line for the defense of the most innocent among us! Thank you, Dr. Keyes and

Circus Erupts at Denver's Planned Parenthood Death Camp!

A Circus Erupts, Planned Parenthood Theatens to Arrest a Patron and A
Baby is Saved ~ Jo Scott ~ Prolife Colorado

No child killing with tranquility is an idiom that Denver pro life sidewalk counselors live by.

Increasing social tension at abortion mills is always a good thing. Usually it’s the pro life movement that calls attention to the perversion of Planned Parenthood. But that’s not so at the Denver Planned Parenthood abortion mill. It seems that the retired police officers that work as security guards during the hours that the abortionists are killing can’t resist calling the police.

The “Frosty Felon Caper” comes to mind. That is the day that was so cold that the tarp on the fence around Planned Parenthood frosted over. Sidewalk counselors wrote things like “Stop killing kids"and "Mommy I want to live” in the frost on the tarp.

Security guard and retired Denver retired police officer Dennis Anaya called the police to report the destruction of the tarp surrounding the killing grounds. That day 10 squad cars arrived on the scene and the circus began.

Fortunately, after an hour Frosty the snowman would not press charges, so the citation for destruction of private property that was issued by the district 2 police department was revoked less than thirty minutes after it was issued.

Today, Planned Parenthood security guard Ron Pringle unsuccessfully tried to confiscate the pro life information handed to a young man as he entered the mill parking lot. Pringle, a retired Denver police officer, told the young male patron that he would not be allowed in the building with pro life information in his pocket. The young man ignored Pringle and entered the building. Furious, security guard Pringle called the police on the Planned Parenthood client. Six squad cars immediately arrived on scene to arrest Planned Parenthood’s client for not allowing Pringle to confiscate his personal property and entering the building. (You just can’t make this stuff up!)

While the circus erupted outside the killing center two young women walked out of Planned Parenthood’s parking lot to ask for help. Laura was scheduled to have an abortion. She thought that she had no other choice but to abort her child because her husband is out of work and she has three other children. Sidewalk counselors were able to convince her that there is help available and she decided to keep her child. So while Mr. Pringle was busy trying to have one of Planned Parenthood’s patrons arrested, a baby was saved. Mr. Pringle in his relentless pursuit of perversion, missed his chance to intimidate the two women and force them into the mill to kill the child.

Instead, Laura and Maria, her friend, left the mill and went to the Riverside Baptist Crisis Pregnancy Center for help. Praise God!!!!!!

Planned Parenthood decided not to press charges on the young man with pro life literature in his pocket and he was released. So much for "Choice".

A Tale of Two Women

America's worldly media is abuzz this week that Time Magazine has included Cecile Richards, head of evil Planned Parenthood in their top 100 most influential people list. For all the glamour, glitz and fanfare it seems like a real badge of honor for the "proud mother of three." As Time notes, "To watch Planned Parenthood's Cecile Richards at work is to see a portrait of grace, intellect and determination. Her family believes that public service is a noble calling; her mother, the remarkable Ann Richards, taught her that social justice is a cause worth fighting for. And Cecile has dedicated her abilities to progressive causes.

How the magazine can ignore the plight of the slaughter of the innocents while claiming Cecile is fighting for social justice, remains a mystery. Thank you, Bryan Kemper for reminding us that Social Justice begins in the womb!

But Time continues their effusive praise, "Cecile is a tenacious organizer, talented at both inside maneuvering and outside mobilization. She always wins. She leads with diplomacy and makes her case with facts, not hyperbole. That's what I saw when she served as my deputy chief of staff; that's what the nation sees as she leads Planned Parenthood."

Of course the stubborn facts unveiled by Live Action revealing PP's cover up of child sexual assault have been airbrushed from her story, along with her organization's founding mother's eugenic and racist past.

The eugenics facination of Margaret Sanger led her contemporaries to call her Hitler in a skirt.

If we follow that bunny trail back through history we can find the story of another woman who Time Magazine likely never saw fit to have on a list of most influential people.

Corrie Ten Boom lived in Harlem Holland during the Nazi reign of terror responsible for the deaths of over a million european Jews. According to some she was a Dutch savior ~ "But she did not only become a pioneer craftswoman. It is possible that she was the first woman to head a resistance movement against the Nazis in her country.

THE LIFE-SAVING ”IDEA”

When she was 48 years of age, on seeing what was happening in Holland under the national-socialist regime -especially the unrelenting persecution of Jews- she decided that she had to do something about it. She then devised a way to assist them, an idea that met at once with her father’s and brother’s approval. In this manner she could ”resist” the Nazis, but in ”her” particular way, without violence, fully in agreement with her Christian principles and belief."

Corrie didn't have tax payer funding, she didn't have polished organizational skills and a fawning media eager to give her access to promote her cause. What she did have was love in her heart for the innocent and a love for the Lord and His chosen people.

She came up with an idea, "A hiding place measuring 2.5 m long by 0.70 m wide was built in Corrie’s own bedroom, on the second floor of the building. The entrance was hidden behind a wardrobe and the available space could make room for a maximum of six persons simultaneously, all of whom had to remain in a standing position without making any movement."

Like the saints on the front lines of today's modern death camps, like pro-life heroine, Jo Scott, Miss Ten Boom counted the cost and put it all on the line to help her fellow man.

And so I invite you to ponder which you would rather be ~ honored by a slick internationally read and influential magazine or, known by the saints and the Lord as a lover of souls, willing to put your life on the line to save the least of these.

On this Good Friday, as we reflect upon the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who paid the price for us to be savior of all humanity, may we pray for a moment for those who need him most.

The 99 or the one ?

To all:

Christ points to the allowance God made for the hard heart that results from man's self-willed nature (i.e., our nature as we understand it, affected by the consequences of replacing God's assessment of the knowledge fit for our consumption with our own, as Eve did). But He does so in the course of forbidding us to abandon respect for the truth of our nature as God understands it, ("what God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.") On account of the Grace of God accessible to us through Christ, we are freed from the bondage of our self-willed nature. Christ's presence enjoins us to reach for and attain (by the Grace of God in Christ) the perfection of our God willed nature. "And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

Andrew Longman's position implies that in the world today, this is an unattainable standard. If this is his belief, his disagreement is not with me. I too often wrestle with the challenge of Christ's standard of perfection, as I'm sure we all do. Christ insists that God be our standard of perfection, and by His ministry (His life, passion, and resurrection) He gives that standard to us. Yet His reference to publicans reminds us that He sees righteousness in the example of a publican who prays "God be merciful to me, a sinner." And in the Lord's prayer He teaches us, when in prayer, always to seek God's forgiveness for our trespasses. In this way He instructs us never to pray without recalling our imperfection, our inability by ourselves perfectly to attain the aim of God. Yet, notwithstanding this persistent fact, He commands us to be perfect, as God is.

This seems like a contradiction. But only if we forget that it is Christ who speaks to us- Christ on whom God has laid our iniquity, but through whom, by the same token, He makes available the Grace which saves us from it. Thus the command of perfection makes sense only when we realize that our perfection or imperfection depends not on us but on God and Jesus Christ. Relying upon Christ and not ourselves alone; trusting in (i.e., having faith in) God and not ourselves alone, the perfection of God comes within our reach, by and through the reality of Christ's transformation of our lives.

From Christ we derive the freedom to take God's standard upon ourselves- something that, absent Christ's commanding presence in our lives, we could not presume to do. Is this not the vital core of the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free? (Galatians 5:1) Truly Christ frees us from the dominion of sin. Otherwise we end up accepting, perforce, the world's imperfection as the defining limit of our perfection. Instead of aiming to do right as God intends, (an aim which Christ makes possible for us even in our world as it is), we aim only to limit wrong, in a way that, de facto, abandons God's intention. This is the melancholy prudence that characterizes all the arguments Andrew Longman has presented.

Unfortunately, once we accept this understanding of prudence, we cease truly to seek the kingdom of God, i.e., to live as in the place of God's dominion. On the excuse that we find ourselves in the midst of those who submit to the dominion of unrighteousness, we agree to aim at doing only as much of right as that dominion allows. But if we find ourselves acting in this way, we are not excused. We are lost.

Can we excuse this mode of operating under the dominion of evil with the plea that we are right to do what we are able to do? But with this excuse we tacitly limit our possibilities for action to the imperfection of our nature as we understand it, rather than defining it (as Christ does) in terms of an understanding which reflects (is the image of) the perfection of God with respect to us. But this self-limitation ignores the imperative of Christ, which requires us to be true to the image (persona) of perfection God intends us to be ("in the image and likeness of God created He them." Hence the logic of securing respect for the human person as the strategic aim of the pro-life political cause. Except in practice the law enforces respect for the intrinsic worth of every one's life, the number of the dead loses its meaning.

Where one is worth nothing, a million times one is still worth nothing. But where one reflects God's worth, the worth of every one is beyond counting. So, when we permit ourselves to act as if one is worthless, the worth of all is potentially reduced to nothing. But when we act so as to acknowledge the God intended worth of each and every one, the God intended worth of all is restored.) As transformed by Christ we are called upon to conceive of human capacity in terms that reflect not our own imperfect mind (understanding), but the mind of Christ, who is God with(in) us (Immanuel).

You can say if you like that this is all well and good for Christians, but inappropriate for America's politics. But the prudence that replaces the perfect standard of God's will with subservience to what the world determines to be possible not only contradicts Christ. It also contradicts the principles of the American founding. The Founders explicitly rejected the understanding of right that defined what is possible in terms approved by the prevalence of this or that superiority of human power (might makes right.) Not unlike Christ, they asserted a standard for human conduct based on God's intention for our humanity. They declared the capacity for rights (i.e., actions taken on account of right) as endowed by God, to be a self-evident fact of human nature. They made securing every individual's freedom to demonstrate this capacity (that is, to exercise rights; to put right them into practice) the defining purpose of just human government.

The Founders did not accept the understanding of justice the world generally took (and still takes?) to be within the realm of political possibility. They acted instead on the view that by choice and deliberation, informed and motivated by a common dedication to right action, the American people could do what had until then been thought impossible- establish just, effective government on the basis of politics that respects the consent of the people. The pure Christian understanding of the primacy of God as the standard for human law and action does not therefore exceed or contradict the possibilities of American politics. Rather it epitomizes the understanding of right and justice that made the kind of politics found in America's constitutional, democratic republic conceivable in the first place.

It may be true, as Andrew Longman implies, that it will take a resurrecting miracle to restore that understanding to its rightful place at the head of America's practice of law and politics. But if we let our sin daunted understanding of what's possible determine what we seek to achieve, we will surely remove ourselves from the purview of any such miracles. We will continue our regression toward the idea that government is all about regulating wrongs, and not at all about respecting and preserving God endowed rights.

How can we invite a miracle that only God can perform unless, in our plan of action we hold fast to the principle of God and His righteousness, as America's founders did? By defining our objective in terms of what will win support from the unrighteous we act like the old wing-walkers, who knew better than to let go of one strut until the other was well in hand. But by following their prudence we make clear that in our counsels and strategic deliberations we are unwilling to trust God without reservation. We outwardly proclaim our exclusive faith in Him, but devise and carry out a strategy based on the assumption that no progress can be made unless due sacrifice (in this case quite literally child sacrifice) is offered to the idol of unrighteous power.
Rather than setting our goals to achieve only as much good as evil allows, we should faithfully aim at the mark that God has set for us.

We should therefore act "with firmness in the right as God give us to see the right." As for opening the eyes with which to see this God endowed vision, that surely lies beyond our poor power, especially given the narrow mentality of self-willed, material calculation that passes for expertise in the political world these days. But it is not beyond the power of our faith, not if we resolve to put into practice the motto some are so deliberately trying to remove from our coins: In God We Trust.

Rather than being content to do all that we think we are able to do, shouldn't we strive to do all that our trust (faith) in God makes possible for us. Then, our faithful actions will be the certain trumpet wherewith God prevails upon America's heart to return to America's creed. Christ made clear that such perfect trust (complete faith) in God can move mountains. But when we base our plans on the assumption that, without help from unrighteousness, this faith (trust) alone (sola fide) will not move America's heart, is our trust (faith) in God really complete (perfect)?

I do affirm my love for you Alan, for your work, your years, your intellect,
and your towering oratory and defense of the unborn. I find it amusing that
a smaller person such as myself would ever be in a position to correct such
a great master. Yet, only Nixon could go to China; strange things happen.

I know that you will recieve it in the spirit of intellectual purity in which
it is offered, with malice towards none, and I look forward to your thoughts.

Dear beloved Alan, Janet,

First let me state how much I hold you both in high regard and personal Christian love. Second, let me reply to Alan, to Janet, and along with that reply speak to the Bob Enyart position, and my many friends among them. This letter is directed to you personally, but also to the movement, so I will use appellations.

I am an abolitionist. Keyes and Enyart rightly support the moral principle that any law which ends, “and then you can kill the baby” is trespassing “thou shalt not murder”. Keyes makes cogent moral argument for obedient Christian observance, and the Enyart position, that pro-lifers should not rest until complete abolition (from conception) is law, is also correct.

But yes, Janet Porter, you can add my name to the list of support for the heartbeat law.

Why? Intellectual dissonance? Moral confusion? Personal compromise? No.

Alan asks, “This law informs the governed that it is lawful and therefore permitted to murder human beings with no detectable heartbeat. Since America's founding principle is that we are all created equal, from what ground of principle do we derive the justification for this fatally invidious distinction?”

First, the law makes it illegal to murder human beings with a detectable heartbeat. It does not legalize whether human beings without a heartbeat may be killed – the federal law does that. The distinction is minor, but the legality of abortion is due to previous court precedent, not this law. This law does not end, “and then you can kill the baby.” Roe v. Wade and the SCOTUS ends that way, and we are all doing all we can to take power from that existing “law”. Yet this is not the thrust of my reply.

The crux of Keyes argument is that killing the baby under any circumstances is immoral, contrary to Godly principle, and therefore any law which allows it is also immoral and contrary to Godly principle. Further he argues that the existence of any such law which is less than righteous requirement of God corrupts the hearers, and a moral people advocating such a law are corrupted themselves, both morally and politically. It’s a great argument. I was persuaded by it for a long time. Studying the Holy Bible I have come to see it is slightly inaccurate.

Provoking Responses -- the latest crime

The most recent attempt by Planned Parenthood to stop pro-life sidewalk counselor Jo Scott from saving babies isn't just another in a long series of of attacks on Jo Scott. It is also a spurious assault on the First Amendment..

In an April 4 trial, Scott was accused of "hindering access" and "harassing" a woman who was attempting to enter a "healthcare facility." The complaining witness was going into the Denver Planned Parenthood during the time abortions are performed and Jo approached her to offer an alternative.

The trial took several strange turns as prosecuting attorneys attempted to convince the jury that Scott touched her accuser while trying to convince her not to enter Planned Parenthood. The attorneys then produced a video of the episode that clearly showed their claims were unfounded. Defense testimony by Leslie Hanks and Leo Mantei, both of whom were eyewitnesses to the incident, confirmed what was obvious on the video. They also refuted the complainant's claim that Jo Scott called her names.

To Jo Scott being lied about and falsely accused is nothing new. But in this trial, prosecuting attorneys did something never before attempted in a courtroom this side of Moscow. Since the claims they were making about Jo Scott touching or calling the complainant names were obviously untrue, they focussed their closing argument on the contention that calling abortion murder is a distasteful affront and likely to "provoke a response." And that, they claim violates a Denver statute.

If the case against Jo Scott sticks, anyone carrying a sign that says, "abortion kills children" or displaying a poster showing the results of abortion could be accused of conveying a message likely to "provoke a response." Consequently, presenting the truth about abortion would essentially become illegal since any communication about the subject might "provoke a response."

Back in the good ol' days when lawmakers respected the First Amendment, if someone's words provoked a response, the response had better also be in words. If the responder resorted to violence, he was the one breaking the law. The implication of a law against using words that might provoke a response is that exercising free speech makes you somehow responsible for the other party's lack of self-control. Bad precedent. People are responsible for their own behavior, including how they react to free speech.

The abortion industry has long sought means to outlaw the efforts of anyone attempting to save babies -- to use the color of law to subdue their opposition. Of course, Jo Scott is their favorite target since, over the years, she has convinced at least 1000 mothers not to abort their babies. If the average fee for those abortions was $300, Jo has cost the abortion industry around $300,000. Small wonder she frequently finds herself falsely accused.

Has it occurred to the legislators who write such ridiculous laws that killing the unborn is distasteful and likely to provoke a response?

The jury will decide Jo's case April 5. Keep her in your prayers. While you're at it, keep our country in your prayers. God judges nations that sacrifice children. It provokes a response.

Heart Beat Bills or Personhood ??

This past week, a number of pro-life activists received a request from good friend Janet Folger to be signatories to a Heart Beat bill, which would ban abortion for babies with a detectable heartbeat. To say quite the firestorm has ignited, is an understatement. That said, some of the responses have been incredibly thoughtful and have added to the public discourse some excellent analysis about why many feel like the Heart Beat bill should not be supported.

I told Janet, who I revere greatly after spending many hours fighting for Terri by her side, that her bill would directly violate the Colorado RTL mission which states, "defending human life, from the beginning of biological development."

One of the most phenomenal replies the request inspired was by my presidential choice in 2008, Dr. Alan Keyes!

Dear Janet:

Like others I cannot add my name to the list of those supporting this bill.

I understand why good hearted people might accept a perilous moral calculus that I also once accepted. I too made mistakes re matters like this in the past. But here is the gist of the points that convicted me of my error:

a) Christ said, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." The bill draws a line. On one side of the line are those whose unalienable right to life will be respected. On the other, are the less developed humans whose unalienable right to life will not be respected. In His mother's womb, Christ was in their same condition. Do His words therefore not apply to them?

b) Whether we acknowledge it or not, the law informs the moral sensibility of those it governs. This law informs the governed that it is lawful and therefore permitted to murder human beings with no detectable heartbeat. Since America's founding principle is that we are all created equal, from what ground of principle do we derive the justification for this fatally invidious distinction? But if we acknowledge that the principle is violated, then the bill achieves the stated objective (saving some lives) by surrendering the principle that requires respect for life. But that surrender of principle corrupts the understanding of right and wrong of those subject to the law. On account of this misunderstanding they are more likely to do that which God abhors. Thus the bill literally poses an obstacle to their salvation, but also to the salvation of all those who knowingly join in supporting the act that misinforms them. It is scandalous, in the literal sense of the term.

c) Given this spiritual harm, you inaccurately portray the objective the bill aims to achieve. The bill saves the physical lives of some people, but it risks the lives (in the truer, spiritual sense of the term) of all those subject to and responsible for it. If we support this act are we not like those the Apostle speaks of (Romans 3:8) who "(as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), 'Let us do evil, that good may come?' whose damnation is just.'"

d) By the same token, the bill risks the moral and political life of the American people. The principle that all human beings are created equal is the bedrock foundation of the idea of right on which the preservation of that life depends. Unless the pro-life movement defends and preserves that principle the whole basis of its activity in politics is called into question. Our opponents will then claim, with some semblance of justice, that we seek to use the law to impose a strictly sectarian discipline.

Of course, child sacrifice is forbidden under the law in the United States. That prohibition reflects the explicit premise of justice from which the government and laws of the United States derive their claim to legitimacy. That premise asserts that the Creator endows every human being with a right to life that is inseparable from their claim to humanity (unalienable). Except we deny the humanity of the child once conceived, we cannot deny his or her unalienable right to life.

e) The Constitution of the United States requires that a republican form of government be guaranteed in each and every State of the Union. Is that guarantee respected if and when the states are allowed to abandon the republican form of government in principle, through the passage of laws that contradict its fundamental premise? Yet the Ohio law you advocate does just that with respect to the human offspring it relegates to the heartless status of those who may lawfully be aborted. In principle, how does this differ from a law that would permit the enslavement of people whose brain activity falls below a certain level of intelligence? Or the murder of those like Terry Schiavo, whose helpless condition demands constant care? Yet as we all know and have argued, once such murder is permitted, have we not in principle drawn a line that sanctions the murder of helpless infants after birth? Have we not joined Obama and those like him who observe no distinction between abortion and infanticide?

The problem with the sacrifice of principle is that it discards the measure wherewith we measure. The word principle refers, etymologically and conceptually, to that which comes first. In both the Christian faith and the American creed, the first premise of human existence is the Creator of heaven and earth and all of us. So the abandonment of principle refers in the end to the abandonment of our acknowledgment of the existence and authority (authorship) of God. To procure that abandonment is the whole point of the evil that besets us. If we were to reduce the number of abortions in America to just one human offspring, offered each year in defiance of God's will and authority, that point would be made. The true life of our people will be lost. But what do we say of the perfect, God affirming sacrifice of Christ if, by word or action, we participate and lend credence to the sacrifice that denies what He died to prove?

By now Cecile Richards should be facing charges of fraud and worse for the crimes the organization she runs has been caught perpetrating. As the Washington Times explains, "The pro-lifers at Live Action struck again when they posted tapes Wednesday showing that Planned Parenthood’s claims of offering mammograms are false.

A series of undercover phone calls contacting 30 Planned Parenthood clinics in 27 states revealed that the organization does not offer mammograms, contrary to claims made on national TV by Cecile Richards, the group’s CEO.

Ms. Richards had spoken on CNN’s Joy Behar Show in February, and argued that if federal funding was removed from Planned Parenthood, it would lose its ability to provide healthcare services such as mammograms.

“If this bill ever becomes law, millions of women in this country are going to lose their health care access, not to abortion services, to basic family planning — you know, mammograms,” said Ms. Richards."

Thousands of white blooms on Delfin Gonzalez's avocado tree are starting to become fruit, and that means he'll soon have a new reason to visit his neighbors.

They all know him, and not just because he's lived on this Little Havana block for nearly 10 years, handing out avocados. Gonzalez is famous here because of a woman he never met, but who changed his destiny and unforgettably altered the lives of the residents of Northwest Second Street.

People may have forgotten her name — Elizabeth Brotons — but no one here will ever forget her son: Elian Gonzalez.

It was 10 years ago this week that the world watched U.S. Border Patrol agents storm the Gonzalez home on this humble block and seize the 6-year-old refugee boy at gunpoint.

Elian, subject of an epic tug of war between Havana and the boy's Miami relatives, was snatched from inside a closet in the wee hours of April 22 and delivered to his father, who waited with Castro government escorts in Maryland. Two months later, after a family battle in the court, the boy's father took him back to Cuba.

Elian was the boy whose story hit Miami with the force of a Category 5 hurricane, the boy whose mother died at sea when their boat sank in their escape from Cuba. Adrift alone, the boy clung to an inner tube for two days before he was rescued by fisherman. He came to live with his closest living relatives, the Gonzalezes of Northwest Second Street.

CO Fetal Homicide measure ~ What fellowship hath light with darkness ?

"Lawmakers say a single sentence and a campaign of "misinformation and disinformation" helped doom a bipartisan bill that would have made it a crime to kill a fetus.
The provision in question says nothing in the bill "shall be construed to confer the status of 'person' upon a human embryo, fetus or unborn child at any state of development prior to live birth."

Representative Waller's good intentions to provide a legislative remedy for fetal homicide victims, notwithstanding, the legislative effort this session demonstrates how good intentions can easily go awry.

His decision to partner with state senator, Pat Steadman, former business partner of Planned Parenthood lobbyist, Fofi Mendez, likely led to the 16 page measure, which it apparently took, to further entrench abortion in Colorado.

Colorado Right to Life had suggested language to Representative Waller, on two different occasions, which wouldn't have been morally compromised as our latest letter explained, "Rep. Mark Waller's 16-page Act Concerning Crimes Against an Unborn Child, Is Itself a Crime Against Every Unborn Child in Colorado"

Colorado Right To Life proposes a one-sentence legislative solution to Colorado's need to punish criminals, other than abortionists, who injure or kill an unborn child, for example, from a drunk-driving crash. Working with a county prosecutor, CRTL has suggested this wording to Rep. Mark Waller and other state legislators:

CRTL's Single-Sentence Solution: The offenses codified in Part 1, Article 3 of Title 18 of the Colorado Criminal Code shall apply also to unborn members of the species homo sapiens at any stage of development."

Senator Steadman made this ridiculous claim, "But Steadman said the anti-choice side was unwilling to view the legislation as a criminal-justice issue."

We responded to this absurd assertion by sending Denver Post's Lynn Bartles this explanation, "We re-sent [Representative Waller] the language again this morning, stating that we're sad he pulled the bill but that we'd like to see him carry a measure this year with the above language, precisely because we feel so very strongly that the Gorham baby's tragic and unfortunate death demands justice."

The abortion industry's lies and rhetoric twisting the truth of the effort to provide a legal remedy for pre-born babies, victims of drunk drivers or worse, shouldn't surprise anyone.

But that the bill's sponsor didn't anticipate that partnering with an unscrupulous, racist organization ~ recently and repeatedly caught covering up criminal sexual assault of minors might not create a positive result, really is shocking.

The events of the recent past few weeks in relation to Planned Parenthood are enough to make heads spin!

They have been stung by Live Action so many times covering up crimes that OF COURSE congress should defund them and hold congressional hearings about the criminal enterprise.

So, it was somewhat thrilling to see the House of Representatives vote to yank the purse strings, yet the
Senate is loathe to do the same to this point.

While the move to defund is a step in the right direction, this is a Teachable Moment for the nation. American Right to Life is concerned that in the effort to slay the dragon, some are being left behind.

American RTL has another educational piece about regulating abortion that teaches ~ Don't Prune the Abortion Weed: "Child killing regulations just prune the abortion weed, and strengthen its root," says Jason Troyer of Colorado RTL. So like pruning your favorite bush to make it grow strong, if you want to make abortion a permanent part of society, then regulate the procedure and it will look more reasonable and humane.

And so it is important to remember because it is imperative to end child killing immediately, we want every child legally protected.

Please ask Representative Pence to leave no child behind. Defund evil Planned Parenthood now ~ NO EXCEPTIONS!

Rawandan Grammy survives starvation ordeal ~ UPDATE!!

An innocent baby boy, in Canada has drawn international attention to the terrible dangers of socialized medicine. Baby
Joseph, suffers a neurological disorder, which previously stole his older sister's life. His family wants to take
him home to likely die but the hospital ~ intent several weeks back to remove his ventilator to hasten his demise ~ refuses to do a tracheotomy to facilitate his home care. Bobby Schindler, Father Pavone and others have done heroic work to save him from the hard hearted court ordered decision and it appears that a resolution may have been reached.

Meanwhile here in the good old US of A, a Rawandan grandmother is being starved and dehydrated after a Jesuit hospital decided it was costing too much to keep her alive.

Several Terri warriors from the most cruel court ordered starvation murder in American history, are still engaged in helping other families avoid similar fates.

Lifesitenews brings us another grim story of the death panel style decisions from courts which will become ever more commonplace should Obamacare actually be implemented.

Rachel's life is literally hanging in the balance as an emergency injunction is being sought to rehydrate her and reinsert

Pro Life "platitudes" & Priceless People

After decades of hearing National Right to Life claim that legislation needed to have "exceptions" for rape, incest and life of the mother, great progress was made in the recent past in dispelling the lie.

Colorado Right to Life has been blessed to have had several superb speakers who were conceived in rape and who are very, very pleased their mom's chose life.

We invited Julie Makimaa to speak at our March for Life after hearing her challenge NRTL, stating that she objected to their "exceptions," and that she was very happy to be alive, thank you very much! She and her beautiful mother, Lee Ezell found one another and their beautiful story is told by Lee here.

A few years later we were blessed by Sherri Williams who shared her amazing story of courage at our annual fall banquet. Sherri also helped Colorado launch their Amendment 62 campaign to legally protect every baby in the womb from the beginning of the little boy or girls biological development.

In 2010, prolife lawyer and spokeswoman, Rebecca Kiessling, addressed our March for Life and educated our attendees about the infinite value of every life, regardless of the circumstances of conception.

So it was with great disappointment that we learned this past week about Planned Parenthood defector, Abby Johnson's advice to Texas that prolifer's shouldn't get in a "tizzy" that their ultrasound bill had rape & incest exceptions.

Many have seen the flurry of back and forth on Facebook between those who know that in God's sight there are no "exceptions"
and those who claim that attempts to educate with scripture that abortion is always wrong, are taking words "out of context".

This incredible claim was made by Life Training Institute in this dismissive article titled, "When Spiritual Platitudes Replace
Good Arguments."

The claim made by LTI and others that Abby's remarks were taken out of context can be clearly disputed by watching the uncut version posted by Juda Meyers, who was at the Texas event and was herself conceived in rape. Juda has an organization Choices4Life where you can learn of many precious lives
conceived in rape through which God was and is glorified.

Finally, although the last word has likely not been written on this hot topic, Rebecca Kiessling's brilliant reply to LTI can
be read here and is a superb treatise for the prolife movement on the need for Personhood and the imperative to see the ugly abortion industry destroyed in our lifetimes.

"Hello Scott, thank you for bringing up these very important issues. Many in the pro-life movement will insist that we remain silent on things that matter to us in order to have “unity.” But the reality is that there is not unity within the pro-life movement on every issue and on strategy. We may say we want unity, but really, we’d like everyone else to either agree with us, or keep it to themselves. I think it’s beneficial for all to have logical discussions on issues involving strategy, and hopefully through these discussions we’ll at least gain more understanding."

Maddow’s Rhetoric is Over the Top and Her Lies are Below The Belt

Rachel Maddow, a self proclaimed lesbian, hosts a nightly news ( I use the word news loosely) magazine program on MSNBC called The Rachel Maddow Show. Not surprisingly, her program has become a bully pulpit for her misguided pro abortion ideology.

Maddow’s February 21st program featured Duvergne Gaines, the legal coordinator for the Feminist Majority Foundation. Gaines lied about both Pastor Mark Holick of Spirit One Christian Center and Pastor Flip Benham, director of Operation Save America during the interview, although she did not name either man or Operation Save America on the program. Ms. Gaines had this to say when Maddow asked her to describe the levels of intimidation that abortion providers are getting.

“We see everything from ..…calling for large events that call for out of state anti abortion extremists. Where mobs are outside of these facilities where they interfere with clinic entrances, exits, blocking traffic…”

Once a year Operation Save America (OSA) organizes a national event in one city and pro lifers from all over the country meet in that city to proclaim the gospel and cry out for the lives of unborn children at the abortion mills in that city and surrounding cities. It is a time of hard work, good preaching and needed fellowship. OSA held its national event in North Carolina in July of 2010. Ms. Gaines covered that event for the Feminist Majority Foundation.

She is seen here talking to Mark Holick, one of the men on Maddow’s hit list, outside of the Hebron abortion mill. Ms. Gaines seems to be pleasantly involved in conversation with Pastor Mark ~ a far cry from the picture she painted on the Maddow show. Notice the extremist mob that is NOT surrounding them and NOT blocking traffic or the driveway of the abortion clinic.

Without naming either of the men, Maddow again targeted Flip Benham, and Pastor Holick on her February 14th program. Both men unashamedly proclaim the name of Christ in the public square and both are on the frontlines of the battle for the lives of the unborn. She reports that in North Carolina “wanted posters” for abortionists were distributed but she neglects to tell her viewers that the posters said “Wanted by Jesus”. The poster’s purpose was to encourage Christians to introduce the abortion doctors of North Carolina to the gospel of Jesus. These facts were left out of Ms. Maddow’s commentary.

Mark Holick, pastor of Spirit One Christian Ministry is also slandered in the February 14th airing of the Maddow Show. He is accused of harassment, intimidation and the implicit use of force. She bemoans the fact that Pastor Holick calls late term abortionist Mila Means a horrific murderer. One might ask Ms. Maddow, when an abortionist rips the arms and legs off of an innocent unborn child, what is it, if not a horrific murder.

Rachel Maddow is doing her best to paint the pro life movement as an extremely violent mob on the verge of killing an abortionist at any moment. On the other hand the former National Abortion Federation president, Frances Kissling, in a Washington Post op ed piece on February 18th had this to say about late term abortions.

“We can no longer pretend the fetus is invisible……The fetus is more visible than ever before, and the abortion-rights movement needs to accept its existence and its value. …….. We need to firmly and clearly reject post-viability abortions except in extreme cases….

Mark is doing his best within the limits of the law to protect unborn children and their mothers from the horrors of the abortionist’s knife and the devastation of their lies. In one appointment at the abortionist’s office not only will a child be mercilessly murdered but the mother will have unknowingly been put at risk for breast cancer and even death because sound medical information will not be given to her.

Maddow is not naming Flip Benham, Mark Holick or Operation Save America because she wants to make sure that her viewers cannot check her facts. This also makes it easier to severely prejudice her audience against all pro lifers on the street. She and her cohorts call gentle Christian moms and dads with their children extremist anti abortion mobs when nothing could be further from the truth.

Frances Kissling in a January 31st op ed in the Washington Post stated, “Today, all sorts of well-educated and progressive people are comfortable calling themselves pro-life. In the public eye, the term seems to encompass a broader and more moderate vision, not focused solely on what it opposes. That vision has suffered the occasional blow: Most recently, a man on the antiabortion fringe was convicted Friday of the murder, at a KS church, of George Tiller, a doctor who performed abortions. But the Scott Roeders of the world are not adding to the movement’s base. The Super Bowl approach is doing that.”

Frances Kissling is referring to the Tim Tebow ad played during the Super Bowl. She is honest in her evaluation of the pro life movement’s growth and savvy without using pro death extremist propaganda. In light of Ms. Kissling’s statements, Rachel Maddow proves herself to be an extremist nut case with a bully pulpit.

When asked about Maddow’s over the top rhetoric combined with her out and out lies Flip Benham had this to say.

“MSNBC’s Rachael Maddow has become a mainstream media voice in the attempt to vilify and silence gentle Christian speech at abortion mills across the country. To her huge audience of 12-15 people she is using her media leverage to remove gentle Christian moms and dads, grammas and grandpas from giving mothers a real choice at these places of death. She insanely, continuously, and publicly disparages them all as wild-eyed lunatics bent on blowing-up abortion mills and shooting abortionists.

Yes, she is using the violence of a few to silence the voice of many. What a broad brush she uses, and with no tinge of conscience. She is a lady on a mission. Her hatred for those who would bring the Gospel of Christ to an abortion mill is impossible to conceal.

What makes Rachael so Mad Now? ‘…all who hate me love death.’ Proverbs 8:36. Rachael hates God, and therefore hates anyone that would dare to speak for Him. Rachael is pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-euthanasia, pro-Planned Parenthood, and pro any religion but Christianity. All of the above lead to death.”

The Maddow Show is sending a portion of its “news” team to follow Pastor Holick as he endeavors to save innocent lives and preach the Gospel. Pray for him to be wise and that his voice will be heard.

As for extremist out of state mobs meeting to intimidate, block mill entrances, exits and traffic this summer. It’s not happenin’, just like it didn’t happen last summer. What will happen this summer is that praying saints from all over the country will gather up their families and head out to the designated city and there they will prayerfully minister God’s word to everyone that they meet in that city.

Abortionist Ginde Targets Ken Scott with Her Car

Ken Scott stands at the driveway of the Planned Parenthood facility in Denver offering help and counsel to abortion bound women five days a week.

Ken stands at the gate on the left side of this picture. A surveillance camera owned by Planned Parenthood is always recording the activity at the gate. On Tuesday mornings abortionist Savita Ginde, director of Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood abortionists is on duty. But before she even walks into the killing place she regularly tries to run Ken over with her vehicle. Ken is used to it and so far has managed to avoid her attacks. This morning things were a little different.

It was around 9:30 am when I heard the familiar sound of her motor being gunned and I saw her speed up. She laid on her horn and drove at Ken. In order to make him jump out of the way she has to enter the parking lot on the exit side of the driveway. It’s the norm for Tuesdays and any other day that she shows up. But today she drove at him faster and more aggressively than usual. When she got out of her car Ken spoke to her as always. He admonished her to come to Christ warned her of the dangers of hell and plead with her not to kill children.

About 45 minutes later 4 cop cars pulled into the abortuary’s parking lot and several officers went inside to watch the video of the morning’s events. According to an officer that spoke with Ken, Abortionist Ginde called because she wanted Ken Scott arrested for blocking the driveway and for speaking to her. Savita couldn’t have been thinking very clearly because the video showed her speeding up and threatening Ken with her car on the wrong side of the driveway. As far as we know Savita wasn’t ticketed for threatening Ken with a deadly weapon. Although the thought of playing that video in a court of law with Savita on the witness stand would have been very interesting, we are thankful that Ken wasn’t ticketed either. We can only hope the officers issued Ginde a strong warning and that she will stop targeting Ken. She kills children for a living and I’m concerned that she is beginning to believe that she has the right to kill whoever whenever she feels the need.

I can’t help but wonder what set her off today. Could it be that she’s feeling the pressure of Live Action’s recent under cover films of Planned Parenthood’s blatant disregard for the law. Or maybe she’s troubled because women are finding out that the abortion giant is more concerned with killing babies for profit than protecting underage girls from pimps. Or maybe she thinks her paycheck will be cut when Planned Parenthood is de-funded.

Just as Live Action has pulled the pants down on abortion industry giant, Planned Parenthood, for the umpteenth time, there's this Youtube of a push for more insanity found on Jill Stanek's blog.

As I posted in December, HLIAmerica hosted a cutting edge and highly significant symposium, 50 Years of the Pill late last year, at which breast surgeon and oncologist, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi broke the silence of the medical establishment by calling oral contraceptives, a "Molotov Cocktail" for breast cancer.

Asking why the steroids which will get athletes arrested are routinely given like candy to young girls and women, Dr. Lanfranchi insists women can handle the truth and need to be told that OCs are Class 1 Carcinogens. "When is it ever right to give a group one carcinogen to a healthy woman?” she asked the audience. “We don’t have to take a group one carcinogen to be liberated.”

Don't let that get in the way of screaming for more money, PP, and at the same time making yourself look ever more evil and foolish!!

The truth is and will continue to be proclaimed and your house, built on shifting sands, will fall because of your epic fail to protect the women you pretend to care about ~ on every level, in every way.

Frosty Caper at Planned Parenthood Confuses Keystone Cops

Planned Parenthood Frosts the Police Department

Saturday morning, January 8th was cold. It was so cold the black sheet that Planned Parenthood uses to cover its fence to prevent their clients from interacting with pro lifers frosted over. The frosted vinyl surface provides a fantastic medium for frozen messages, providing you are able to maintain warmth in at least one warm finger. When you use your finger to pen a message in the frost it melts and re-freezes, leaving what looks like a chalk message on the fence surrounding the killing place.

Two pro lifers, Debbie Evans and Jo Scott, spent about five minutes preparing the fence for the morning outreach to the moms in crisis. Ten minutes later, to everyone’s amazement, 8 squad cars surrounded the pro lifers and 2 others enter into the Planned Parenthood parking lot.

What followed will go down in history as a serious case of police buffoonery. The sergeant jumped out of his car and yelled, “Who wrote on the wall?” Jo Scott said, “I did.” To which he responded, “Come with me, I’ll need to see your ID you’re getting a ticket for destruction of private property.” Jo was flabbergasted and told the officer that she had written in the frost on the fence. He would not believe her. The police were on the scene for fifteen minutes when the sun came over the building and began melting the message.

Jo encouraged them to take pictures before the sign disappeared. The sergeant would not turn around to look at the fence. No amount of reasoning would get him to take his job seriously and look past his nose to the fence. Jo did her best to get business cards from every officer on the scene. She said that it would be fun to have them all in court explaining why they could not tell the difference between frost and chalk.

About a half hour into the Jo Scott inquisition her license was given back to her and Debbie Evans was pulled aside and ordered to provide her ID. By now all the pro lifers, about 20, were writing on the fence and asking to be arrested as frosted felons. It was truly hilarious!

The cops were citing pro lifers for writing in the frost and insisting that it was chalk. You couldn’t make up a better example of the buffoonery that pro lifers around the country deal with on a daily basis if you tried. Planned Parenthood says jump and the police says how high? They refuse to be confused by the facts.

Debbie was issued a ticket for destruction of public property. Jo was not because the security guard did not see her in the act of writing on the fence. By now, about forty five minutes after the troops arrived, the message on the fence had almost completely melted away.

The police parked in the middle of the street when they arrived. The blockade in front of Planned Parenthood and made it appear as though a major crime was in progress. During the time the police were blocking the street, no abortion clients entered the mill. Praise the LORD!!

All of a sudden, just as quickly as they arrived, the regiment of 10 departed. Five minutes after that, the officer that cited Debbie retuned to the mill and asked her for her ticket. “It was just frost on the fence; we’re going to tear the ticket up.” Debbie handed him the ticket and he tore it up.

Ten squad cars and the cops that go with them for one hour, I wonder what the frosty caper cost Denver?

Why do Christian women take The Pill ?

Recent reflection about the failure of Colorado's Amendment 62 has brought me to the belief that one of our biggest
obstacles to bestowing legal protection to every baby in the womb is the pervasive use of The Pill by Christian women.

I had the privilege of attending HLIAmerica's outstanding December 2010 symposium, 50 Years of The Pill last month.

HLI is to be commended for gathering experts to give the other side of the story the media has entirely overlooked,
to the detriment of American women, for decades.

Breast surgeon and oncologist, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi threw a verbal bomb to attendees, which has yet to enter our lexicon,
but Lord willing it will gain traction in the near future!

Dr. Lanfranchi had the temerity to go beyond whether The Pill is abortifacient, to the considerable health risks, calling the Pill a "molotov cocktail" for breast cancer. She asked the question none have had the courage to ask, "When is it ever right to give a group one carcinogen to a healthy woman?”

Randy Alcorn has written some excellent articles and a book on the elephant in the room, Does the Birth Control Pill Cause Abortions?

"Dr. Walt Larimore has told me that whenever he has presented this evidence to audiences of secular physicians, there has been little or no resistance to it. But when he has presented it to Christian physicians there has been substantial resistance.

Since secular physicians do not care whether the Pill prevents implantation, they tend to be objective in interpreting the evidence. After all, they have little or nothing at stake either way. Christian physicians, however, very much do not want to believe the Pill causes early abortions. Therefore, I believe, they tend to resist the evidence. This is certainly understandable. Nonetheless, we should not permit what we want to believe to distract us from what the evidence indicates we should believe."

Dr. Lanfranchi shared that 50 % of teens are on The Pill ~ a statistic that should concern all loving parents.

So this little white tablet that caused a revolution, is likely responsible for the deaths of thousands upon thousands of tiny lives and far more adult women than any imagine.

The condition of a 27-year-old woman who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Stapleton neighborhood has been upgraded from critical to serious condition, authorities say.

The improvement comes a day after Laura Gorham's condition worsened to critical condition on Friday, said Kalena Wilkinson, spokeswoman for Denver Health Medical Center.

Gorham's family released a statement today asking for help in finding the hit-and-run driver.

I had the great privilege of meeting Monica Migliorino Miller at Notre Dame when the current resident of the White House was given an honorary degree in 2009.

Her passion for babies in the womb is inspiring and was a sight to behold as she broke through police lines,in order to show the ND graduates families the horror the speaker they were about to hear advocates. This month her organization put their passion into practice by helping to see that tiny baby bodies, found in the trash in Michigan, were given a proper burial.

The coming election – perhaps the most important mid-term election in American history – is only five days away. At the time of this article's appearance, it will only be one day away.

The polls predict not just a landslide victory for the Republicans but an "avalanche".

However, I am only interested in the outcome of Colorado's Amendment 62 bestowing "personhood" upon gestating infants at their creation and not upon a grotesquely arbitrary decision called the third trimester of gestation.

"Sophistication."

That is the only word that can describe the Progressive rationalizations for what amounts to murder. Progressives are just more "sophisticated" than the rest of us. To be "sophisticated" is to be Progressive.

The most sophisticated city in the world has, for the most part, been Paris, France. Despite the vibrancy of New York, the most sophisticated New Yorkers, from the readers of Vogue to those worshippers of the New York Times, generally hold Paris on a higher level than their own, limitlessly exciting city.

The real and, most significantly, the "Progressive" reason for that is the difference between the American and French Revolutions.

The American Revolution succeeded and out of it came the legendarily unsophisticated United States.

Colorado View Magazine profiles Personhood proponent v opponent

Voters this fall will once again be asked to decide a state constitutional amendment that seeks to define a person to give legal rights to an unborn child. In March, Colorado Amendment 62, called the Personhood Amendment, was placed on the ballot after the Secretary of State certified nearly 100,000 signatures in support. Backers say the ultimate goal is to overturn Roe v. Wade.

A similar measure was defeated in 2008, 73 to 27 percent. Unswayed, proponents are not only back but have tweaked the language to make the language broader. A person is no longer defined from moment of fertilization. Now a person is given rights at the beginning of biological development. Backers say this change offers protection for the unborn during such things as in vitro fertilization. It also could potentially prohibit birth control methods that prevent implantation in the uterus.

Working tirelessly in support and in opposition of this controversial amendment are two accomplished, articulate women. Both are veterans in the political arena; both are passionate and unwavering in their beliefs. And both have devoted decades trying to defeat what the other stands for.

I have heard many people cry foul whenever any pro-lifer uses the Jewish Holocaust or slavery in America as a comparison to abortion. Many times at my talks someone will scold me during question-and-answer time, claiming to be offended that I would use such a comparison.

The problem they have is not really the fact that a comparison is being made to one of these horrific tragedies; after all, we build museums, memorials and reminders of what happened to make sure something like the Jewish Holocaust will never happen again. The problem really is that we have elevated what they consider to be a blob of tissue to personhood status.

My regular readers know me well enough to comprehend my seriousness about the curse that the Supreme Court loaded on the back of America in 1973, with its Roe v Wade decision legalizing abortion. Little did I know – historically challenged little me – that America's legalized abortion actually began in Colorado in 1967. Yup, the practice of murdering your own children with impunity began not 37 years ago, but 43.

That is half the length of time America took to finally end slavery.

Yup, Hollywood's Little Getaway Spot, with the ski trails of Aspen and the seven figure vacation homes, revolutionized America's very soul.Colorado did more to destroy America's "inalienable right to life" than even Dr. Evil and his Mini-Me have accomplished so far.

By that I mean, it was the elite, wealthy and influential of Colorado that actually began to beg for the arrival of a wannabe-Mao Zedong and his "Cultural Revolution" … or rather the "fundamental transformation of the United States of America."

"I saw a photograph of a bird's nest, which was an advertisement for what I thought was a photographic exhibition at a small gallery in Sydney. When I arrived, it was a showing of real birds' nests. I was deeply moved by these little nests, their incredible beauty and fragility, and the mothering instinct at work -- the ingenuity and energy channeled into creating a safe place to conceal the young. Everything about them was just so nurturing. And I began to think about these miracles of nature that are concealed in a repeating pattern of secrete, store, burst forth in abundance -- seeds, bulbs, cocoons and the miracle of pregnancy.

When I saw the nests, everything began to flow again; everything came back. I felt inspired to start photographing again. I came out of the exhibit and phoned my husband, Kel, and said, "I need to do another book. I just saw these amazing nests." The whole "Beginnings" project started from there.

As the great great granddaughter of former slaves, I am ETERNALLY grateful that Abraham Lincoln DID risk the Union, fought the Civil War, and Abolished Slavery.

It is very easy to talk about practicality, pragmatism and polls when you are not the one wearing chains and being beaten on a daily basis. It’s easy to be patient when you are free. It’s another thing entirely when you’re the slave. The nearly 240
years that passed until the Thirteenth Amendment to the U. S. Constitution officially ended slavery in 1865 were an eternity for the slave. The past 37 years are an eternity for the preborn child.

State sued for “bias, lies” in describing Amendment 62

Organizers of Amendment 62, the personhood initiative, have filed a lawsuit against the state alleging “lies” about the measure printed in the Blue Book voting manual scheduled to be sent to voters. Sponsors of the amendment say this year's analysis of the proposal does not give voters a fair and balanced analysis of the initiative.

Dennis Hoshiko, a local onion farmer and one of the key figures behind the initiative, told the Gazette the state completely disregarded the detailed medical opinions provided by the group and instead relied totally on opinions from the opposition when printing the voter guide. Hoshiko said “the state’s allegation that the term ‘beginning of biological development’ has no basis in science is totally false. We provided them with multiple documents showing the term is well established in science.”

Gualberto Garcia-Jones, a co-sponsor of the amendment said "First, we were disallowed from including the text of the amendment in the 'Arguments For' section. The 'Arguments For' section is weak and does not include most of the arguments for Amendment 62. The Blue Book authors didn't stop there, however, and published several falsehoods about Amendment 62. Women could never be denied health care for miscarriages with the passage of Amendment 62, yet that is one of the lies our opposition is using as a scare tactic – and one of the lies propagated by the Colorado Blue Book.”

A judge in Indiana has approved a request to depose a key school administrator by lawyers representing the "Notre Dame 88," pro-life activists who were arrested on orders from the Catholic university while they protested the school's speaking invitation to the devoutly pro-abortion President Barack Obama.

The move is key to the Notre Dame 88's defense, because when the famed university cracked down on the Obama critics, Notre Dame President John Jenkins issued a statement that all protesters were treated equally on campus.

However, William Kirk, former Notre Dame associate vice president for residential life who recently was dismissed, may have first-hand knowledge that the university previously allowed "gay" rights and anti-ROTC protesters to operate on campus without a permit and without any charges being filed, according to the Thomas More Society, which is working on the pro-life activists' defense.

The organization reports that Kirk had served the university for many years but "was abruptly let go after it became public that, while Notre Dame had arrested and vigorously prosecuted pro-life demonstrators, in prior years the university filed no charges against gay rights and anti-ROTC activists who also had protested on campus without permission."

It would seem that she has been recruited to rebut the claims of chilling parallels between slavery and abortion that Amendment 62 spokesman, Pastor Walter Hoye, has been making all over Colorful Colorado. As founder of the California Civil Rights Foundation, Hoye has a deep abiding faith and vested interest in educating his people about the radical, racist and eugenic history of Planned Parenthood.

So it was especially jarring to hear Ms Duval begin her rant with, "This is the day that the Lord has made." One doesn't
anticipate hearing the name of Almighty God invoked at a pep rally for death.

Duval continued, "This deeply personal and painful moral decision is best left to a woman," said Rev. Dawn Riley Duval of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, "And her doctor and God!" she shouted to loud applause.

We must assume that this newest Planned Parenthood spokeswoman has not heard the statements of PP's founder, Margaret
Sanger.

Of particular interest to the black community should be this disturbing message, ""We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

Colorado Right to Life has a long history of sharing this kind of insidious racial profiling by the abortion industry. We brought
Reverend Clenard Childress to address the Ministerial Alliance in 2006 and while his message largely fell on deaf ears, he planted seeds and so Pastor Hoye has been warmly received by several prominent Black churches in Denver.

Pastor Hoye will be speaking at a prayer rally at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Aurora on September 17, 2010 sharing his message of Persons not Property and Why we Can't Wait to legally protect everyone made in God's image.

We will be delivering the DVD Maafa 21 to Ms Duval's pastor, with the prayer that the message of how abortion is decimating the black race and carrying on the legacy of death and destruction of the slave master mentality, will be shared.

Should the church be receptive to learning why personhood is the key to equality of justice for all ~ born and unborn,
we'd welcome Dawn's fiery passion to protect her people from those who have targeted them for extermination.

Prior to selecting a "pro-choice" running mate, and just hours after winning at the state assembly, Dan Maes told a pro-abortion media outlet:

“People are overestimating the personhood amendment. It simply defines life as beginning at conception. That’s it. Who knows what the intent of it is? They are simply making a statement. That is all I see it as. Do they have another agenda? I don’t know... Roe v. Wade is the law of the land, and people tend to forget that. I would not try to undo that.” -Dan Maes

In a private meeting shortly after making the above statement, Maes' said that he mispoke and "took it back." We at CRTL should have had more wisdom. We know that "pro-life" politicians typically tell us whatever they think is necessary to get our support. With Maes, we lowered our guard, hoping that a grassroots, tea-party-endorsed, self-proclaimed pro-personhood Republican candidate could be trusted. We see now that we were gullible. We apologize. With the fallen human nature, grassroots and tea-party candidates learn quickly, and can obviously be as deceptive to their base as any establishment politician. Dan Maes selecting a "pro-choice" Lt. Governor shows the apparent truth in his claim that he would not try to "undo" the bloodshed unleashed by Roe. Politicians who cared more about themselves then abolishing slavery held similarly hypocritcal positions. Yet Jesus said, Let your yes be yes, and your no be no. Even if Maes acknowledged the travesty of his LG selection, and dumped Williams, it is hard to see how he could be trusted. But still, for his own conscience' sake, he should do the right thing.

How emphatic does CRTL have to be before our "pro-life" politicians get the point? The only justifiable abortion policy is zero tolerance for child killing.

As we reflect about the statesmen who put their lives on the line for the good of their posterity in writing and signing the Declaration of Independence, Whatreallyhappened.com describes the painful legacy of what standing for truth, liberty and justice for all can really mean.

And so we have congressional hearings with great scandal hanging overhead like the oil oozing over the Gulf of Mexico ~
and nary a statesman willing to demand accountability and stand up to a woman nominee!

Falling Headlong

Last night I drove to beautiful Boulder, Colorado to avail myself of an invitation to attend a reading of a new play ~ Falling Headlong ~ by playwright Ralph Tropf.

In the invitation, Mr. Tropf penned: "In Falling Headlong, the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v Wade, an event that could possibly happen in the near future. Sara Pindar, an obstetrician in her first year of practice, disagrees with the new law. When Sara becomes pregnant, it takes a woman of faith to convince her that it is in the best interests of all for her to have her baby."

Ok, I must admit that I was easily duped by a ruse! The "woman of faith" line grabbed me, hook line and sinker and it was off to Boulder I drove.

Theater O is a bit of an Avante Garde venue - seating only 20 patrons, black curtain backdrop the only hint that it was a theater and not the warehouse in which we were seated. In typical Boulder fashion, the attendees were a diverse lot. The event was a reading of the play, in which one could tell they had rehearsed, but they read their lines and those attending were in actuality like a focus group ~ invited to give input.

Mr. Tropf and I spoke prior to my treck to la la land and he led me to believe we were seeking the same lofty goal ~ legally protecting the pre-born; at least that was my perception.

The play was interesting and although I cringed at many of the lines, as I hastily scribbled them on my program, I was amazed at the play's outcome in which the protagonist (a female infertility specialist with lots of pro-abort statements) chose life.

Most astonishingly afterwards during the feedback segment, a female from Boulder Valley Women's Center stood up and said she really liked the play! Since my initial reaction was mildly favorable, I was particularly perplexed.

Mr. Tropf sat down beside me immediately following the play to garner some input. I shared that it bothered me deeply that Sara persisted in telling the woman of faith, Mary, that her ectopic pregnancy was a "fetal mass" and not a baby. We also discussed whether the "woman of faith" and her husband were caricatures of sincere believers.

Ralph said he'd appreciate input by e-mail and actually gave me the script so I could give the dialogue deeper consideration.

In our subsequent e-mail communications, I must admit to feeling a bit betrayed.

Mr. Tropf shared today that legislation isn't the answer ~ as he claimed his play demonstrated. He insists changing hearts and minds is the real solution. I replied that we have been on that road for over 40 years and meanwhile 4,000 babies are dismembered daily!

While I laud his prescience in writing a play about the demise of Roe, I'm sad that he remains persuaded that "inalienable
rights" aren't and that the Word of God is negotiable.

Any discussion of life and death issues where a choice for life raises a round of applause from Boulderites makes me smile.

We are making progress!!

The horrendous anti-semitic rant over the weekend by veteran White House Correspondent, Helen Thomas really has stunned the nation with the open hostility toward Israel shown so blatantly ~ up close and personal.

Today WND has an article that warms the heart about a Hearst family member's support of Israel and the people of Gaza.

Hearst heiress, Victoria responded quickly, "I've never heard any Hearst family member make an anti-Semitic remark, and none of them would be in agreement with Helen Thomas."

According to the WND article, Victoria Hearst is a lover of Israel and has founded Praise Him Ministries in Ridgeway, Colorado.

The Praise Him Ministries' write up of Victoria's work in Israel is so encouraging at a time when American's are cringing about the evil things happening to Israel and God's chosen people.

"Victoria sits on the board of Billye Brim Ministry/Prayer Mountain of the Ozarks in Missouri, and the advisory board of Voice of Refugees ministry in California. Victoria loves Israel and the Jews. She has been to Israel many times and helps Mayor Ron Nachman of the city of Ariel in Judea and Samaria with certain projects. She also assists the Jews of Gush Katif who lost their homes and livelihoods when they were forced out of Gaza in 2005. Victoria believes that all Christians need to support Israel and the Jews’ right to the land as GOD promised in the Bible."

"We wholeheartedly condemn what she said. The Hearst Corporation and the Hearst Family do not condone anti-Semitism in any way, shape or form. And we demand a heartfelt apology to the Jewish community around the world.'"

Now that Helen Thomas has today rightly retired, we can pray that Victoria will keep her in prayer as she undoubtedly needs Jesus, so that she will understand (before it is too late) why the Jews in Israel are precisely where God wants them to be.

Stand up principal deserves our support!!

"Oakwood Principal Sheila Tillett Holas was put on leave today, Thiel Mather said. The division began its investigation after The Pilot asked school leaders this week about the fetus dolls."

The anatomically correct, "squooshy" dolls which came with an information card explaining that even tho some don't
believe life starts until birth, the baby's life has been a journey for nine months prior to delivery.

"The teacher said that attached to the dolls was a card with a "pro-life" message and information on fetal growth.

Board member Kirk Houston Sr. said he examined one of the dolls. "Very life like, and it's a pro-life tool," he said. "To be quite honest, that is so incredible to me, that a staff member would do something so ... entirely inappropriate and unacceptable." He said board members "were all pretty dumbfounded."

If you agree that it is wise to help our young people understand the infinite value of pre-natal life, and that this effort is far more valuable in educating young people about human life and the biological development of the pre-born than Planned Parenthood's sexuality training in schools, please support Oakwood Principal Sheila Tillett Holas, who was put on administrative leave, please call the school and voice your dismay about this principal's treatment. All top CO GOP candidates supporting Personhood

In what can be called a rather stunning turn of events, one of Colorado's major newspapers yesterday reported that Colorado GOP candidates are beginning to absorb the import of the 125,000 signatures from Coloradans who see the God-given right to life as,"the first and only legitimate object of good government," to quote Thomas Jefferson.

"That’s a big contrast from 2008, when such top GOP people as then-U.S. Senate candidate Bob Schaffer and Colorado Republican Party Chairman Dick Wadhams, among others, were outspoken critics of the ballot question . . ."

"Political pollster Floyd Ciruli said the politics behind the ballot question, just like politics in general this year compared to 2008, are entirely different. That election was viewed as a big Democratic year, and polarizing GOP social issues such as abortion were unlikely to go anywhere, Ciruli said. This year the political landscape is more favorable to Republicans, and any issue that would bring conservative voters to the polls is something they need to embrace, he said."

To say this is remarkable is an understatement. Amendment 62 affirms the God-given right to life of our pre-born citizens as our founders intended. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

As co-sponsor of Amendment 62, I'm encouraged that our leading candidates are supporting our 100% ban.

Abortion is wrong because it's a baby; it's always wrong to intentionally kill a baby.

As a nearly 60 year old Grammy of 8 there are some things I'd just as soon not know about in life but when I do learn of EVIL perpetrated upon children ~ little girls, I JUST WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!

This NYT story depresses me beyond belief.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has given their stamp of approval to disfiguring daughters.

As Atlas Shrugs' Pamela Geller, notes, "In what can only be construed as a complete loss of any semblance of goodness and morality in the name of multi-cultural poison, the most advanced civilization on the world is sanctioning......clitorectomies."

And, "They have issued a policy statement suggesting that doctors in the US perform this act of sick barbarity on girls to keep their families from sending them overseas for it. What next? Wife-beating seminars and its unintended benefits. Or a strip in Vegas for child marriages so they won't go overseas for the nuptuals."

Some of the article's accompanying photos indicate that the procedure is done in elementary schools ~ not sure if American taxpayers are footing the bill for this barbarism ~ yet!

Why Abortion Does Not Solve Child Rape

There is no tragedy that the abortion movement does not seek to turn to its own advantage.

Consider the case of a young girl in Quintana Roo, Mexico, who was raped by her supposed stepfather and impregnated at the tender age of 10. After the girl's mother belatedly notified the authorities, she is now, at nearly 18 weeks of pregnancy, receiving proper medical care. The offending rapist has since been arrested.

We should all decry the horrific sexual abuse that led to this pregnancy. But the abortion movement, led by radical feminists, wants to go further. They claim that the girl should be given an abortion, even though the Mexican state in which she lives, Quintana Roo, forbids all abortions after 90 days gestation. The underlying problem here, they insist, is that Mexican girls are not properly informed of their “right” to an abortion in case of rape before 90 days gestation, and that they are not allowed to receive one after that point. According to them, Mexico's abortion laws must be relaxed.

According to CNN, which in its story on this child rape only interviewed abortion advocates (See CNN s coverage of the story):

“This girl is much more than an isolated case," said Adriana Ortiz-Ortega, a researcher at Mexico's National Autonomous University who has written two books on abortion in Mexico, "and there is much more influence now from conservative groups that are trying to prevent the legalization of abortion.”…

Child protective services officials in Quintana Roo said in a statement last week that the girl and the fetus were in good health.

But Quintana Roo state legislator Maria Hadad said the girl's doctors aren't telling the whole story. She said continuing the pregnancy could cause severe mental and physical health problems for the girl. "It's not just a high-risk pregnancy. It's a pregnancy that puts the girl at risk," Hadad told Mexican broadcaster Channel 10 in Chetumal, Mexico.

This girl has surely been horrifically damaged by what has been done to her, but will subjecting her to an abortion—as Maria Hadad advocates—somehow begin to “repair” this damage? Obviously not, as any person who is truly concerned about the welfare of the girl would conclude. It would only add tragedy to tragedy. And why would Hadad attack the girl's doctors, going so far as to suggest that they may be involved in a cover up? The reason is that Hadad and others like her are not the least bit concerned about the girl as a person. The victim is only a political tool, whose pain can be commoditized to advocate the legalization of abortion on demand. That there is another tiny person involved does not even enter into their calculations.

The political gamesmanship around this case distracts the public from the underlying problem: the family breakdown and pedophilia that allowed a young girl to not only be raped, but also impregnated by her supposed “step-father.”

According to Christine De Vollmer, president of the Latin American Alliance for the Family, a girl this young was unlikely to become pregnant from a single instance of rape. It is common, De Vollmer said, for “everybody to live in the same little house and sleep in the same bed. And of course all kinds of things happen there, unfortunately including to children. As the bodies of these little girls are stimulated, they begin to ovulate and become pregnant at some point.” As far as the so-called “stepfather” is concerned, this is often just a man who lives in the home with the mother and her children, “without any serious commitment.”

According to De Vollmer, the legalization of abortion will only serve to further enable child rape, since “the visible consequences (of rape) will be taken away. It would be more objective, engaging, and caring to prevent or correct these very common and dangerous situations of promiscuity to young girls before it's too late. How can politicians rend their garments over these pregnancies and at the same time turn a blind eye to the sexual abuse that goes on daily in broken homes? If nothing is done to stop the abuse, it can only end in pregnancy.”

Carlos Polo, head of PRI's Latin American office, noted to CNA that the abortion lobbyists are using such tragedies to advance abortion on demand. These activists are “absolute vultures,” who seize upon such cases for their propaganda value, arguing that only way to save the lives of women and girls in such circumstances is to “legalize so-called ‘therapeutic abortion.’” Polo said to PRI that “they care nothing about the girl herself, and abandon her as soon as they are done using her.”

The proper approach to such tragedies involves a consistent ethic of life. The crime of abortion cannot cancel out the crime of rape, as the radical feminists in effect argue. The rape can never be undone, nor can the girl ever return to her prior innocent state.

Yet the innocent human life inside her womb—however sad the circumstance under which it was conceived—can be preserved and protected, as well as the girl herself.

Only a consistent ethic of life will insist on the right of prepubescent girls not to be sexually abused; at the same time it will trumpet the right of a tiny unborn human to live.

Any other position betrays them both.

Dear Pro-Life County Delegate,

Please support the Personhood Amendment #62! The most fundamental right recognized by our Constitution is the God-given right to life. It is government’s foremost duty to uphold the right to life of all innocent human beings, without exception. The Personhood Amendment – Amendment 62 on your November ballot –recognizes the right to life of unborn children from the beginning of their biological development as a human being.

Forty states currently are following Colorado's leadership and trying, through legislation or ballot initiatives, to get Personhood recognized for the unborn child. This has transformed the pro-life movement and given it new energy! For the first time in recent history, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and we may see abortion prohibited in the relatively near future.

Unfortunately, many politicians, including Republicans, and even some pro-life groups fear losing control of the agenda. They are trying to smother the Personhood movement in its crib. You may see an Eagle Forum flyer here today, spreading misleading statements.

They mean to discourage pro-lifers by pointing out that our 2008 measure only received 27% support – the first time any state has ever voted on Personhood. They say we should not try again. What successful social movement has ever given up after its first try? What if the anti-slavery movement had quit at their first setback? What if Britain had surrendered to Hitler because victory seemed impossible? It's not leadership to say, “We tried once and failed, so we should stop.” In 2008 conventional wisdom held that only one out of eight people would vote for a total abortion ban. Yet in our first time on the ballot we received over 600,000 votes, more than doubling what was expected, in a state that had just elected a pro-abortion governor and president. With a well-run campaign, in this non-presidential election year, where just some Personhood voters bring another voter to the polls, we could win. Of slavery, the Holocaust, and abortion, we're now at two down and one to go!

The anti-personhood flyer claims pro-abortion groups are “enriched” by getting to fight the Personhood amendments in several states. The ACLU and Planned Parenthood don't see it that way. They're suing to keep Personhood amendments off the ballot in Missouri, Alaska, and Nevada, and they've announced that they might sue here in Colorado. (We're ready for them if they do.) And Mississippi has already certified their state's Personhood Amendment to be on the ballot, and signatures are being collected by the hundreds of thousands in Florida and California and elsewhere. Further, the pro-abortion group NARAL put Personhood USA, parent group of one of our sponsors, on their national Hall of Shame! What an honor! They fear what we can see: that Personhood has ignited a broad base of grassroots activity with more being done to stop abortion than any time in the last twenty years!

The “pro-life” opponents of Personhood claim “it’s not the right time,” but it’s never the wrong time to do the right thing. They say they want to back Personhood “eventually,” but the US Supreme Court is not yet “ready” to support a pro-life measure. This admission comes after decades of their efforts to change the court, which admission is proof from their own mouths that their strategy is utterly failing. Republicans have nominated the majority of the federal judiciary, and the federal courts are overwhelmingly pro-abortion, so we need a new, direct strategy of teaching the public and our politicians the difference between right and wrong. After decades of electing pro-life presidents, there is not a single Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court who has ever once advocated the right to life of the unborn child. So National Right To Life has never been able to claim the $10,000 offered them for simply naming a single pro-life Supreme Court Justice. That check is already written and remains un-cashed in the office of the Colorado-based American Right To Life.

Eagle Forum points to a memo by National Right To Life attorney James Bopp, which claims they fear a challenge to Roe v. Wade now might “make things worse.” Fear never won a fight. Fifty million dead children and they are afraid to pursue victory because things might get worse? That's like giving in to terrorists because we don't want to make them mad. Tragically, National Right To Life's general counsel tried to compromise the Republican Party platform by modifying it to support embryonic stem cell research, which is lethal experiments, on the tiniest children, little boys and girls just like the snowflake children, the adopted frozen embryos who themselves are the proof that these are precious little children. Thank God that National Right To Life's attorney failed.

That failed strategy, the old pro-life approach, of electing politicians who are pro-life, who will appoint judges who are pro-life has failed because we didn’t have “quality control” and all our candidates, without opposition from NRTL, openly admitted that they would ignore abortion when nominating judges. And the proof is in the pudding, along with the poison, of scores of pro-abortion judges that we have unwittingly put on the bench. We need to teach our politicians that there is an actual right to life (i.e. Personhood)! We need to insist that they appoint judges who acknowledge the God-given right to life of each child. Where we stand right now, we don’t need “one more pro-life justice” – we need five! That old strategy has proved an utter failure.

What’s more, we’ve been teaching the American public the wrong lessons. When we say “the unborn child has a right to life!” and then turn around and promote laws to protect some babies, but not others, the American people rightly detect hypocrisy! Footnote 54 of Roe v. Wade ruling (which tragically was written by a Republican Justice, Harry Blackman, and passed by a Republican majority) points out this very thing – that you cannot say the unborn child is a Person, and then say there are some circumstances when that innocent Person can be killed. That hypocrisy was cited as the reason why abortion was decriminalized– because existing "pro-life" laws actually didn’t recognize unborn children as Persons. But the Roe v. Wade decision itself also said that if a law were passed to recognize the Personhood of the unborn child, then the Supreme Court would have to protect unborn children under the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment!

Personhood is a legal strategy, aimed at that "loophole" in Roe. But more than that, Personhood is a social movement, trying for the first time in 30 years to convince the American public that there exists an actual, God-given right to life for innocent children – no exceptions! Imagine the outcry if a massive body of citizens cried out to stop the slaughter, and the courts or politicians stood by and did nothing! They cannot. Personhood will force the politicians and the courts to change – if we insist our politicians support Personhood, then eventually the courts will follow.

Some defeated folks claim we have no power to change things, and we must accept the world as it is. They have no hope for victory, and they want you to abandon hope also. Their reasoning is all based on political calculation and conventional wisdom. But they forget that Christian social movements changed the world by relying on God’s wisdom! Remember the anti-slavery movement! Remember the civil rights movement! These were not secular in nature – these movements were Christian at their core! They dared to believe God would help them, and they changed the world!

That’s the promise of Personhood. In 2008 Colorado launched this strategy, and in 2010 there are 40 states following the example of our first “failure!” We’ve just now set out! So please support the pro-life Personhood Amendment 62 resolution! We must press forward and not look back!

Our federal judiciary crisis!

Colorado RTL is informing pro-lifers, politicians and candidates of a crisis among the federal judiciary. For 35 years, pro-lifers have hoped that by electing pro-life presidents such as Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and George W. Bush, America would get judges who support the God-given right to life of the unborn. Justices, who we all hoped were pro-life, have made it increasingly clear that they are not.

Antonin Scalia has publicly stated that he would strike down any law that prohibited abortion in all fifty states, and Clarence Thomas has ruled that the public has the right to decide to legalize the killing of unborn children. Sadly, not even one of the seven current U.S. Supreme Court Justices nominated by Republican presidents support the right to life of the unborn.

Further, our pro-life presidents have nominated sixty percent of the U.S. federal judiciary, and yet the judiciary utterly rejects the right to life of the unborn. Also we should remember that the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade decision was written by a Republican Justice and passed by the Republican majority on the U.S. Supreme Court, and abortion was legalized in Colorado by Republican governor John Love in 1967.

Colorado RTL is educating pro-life politicians and candidates to the sobering judicial crisis because it tells us that the status quo strategy of regulating abortion over the last decades is leading to a judicial culture exactly the opposite of what the pro-life movement had expected. When we ask judges to uphold abortion regulations, that very request moves "our own" judges to accept that the government has the right to regulate the killing of children, which they do by upholding the pro-life movement's own initiatives.

Thus Colorado RTL advocates enforcement of the God-given right to life and promotes the Personhood strategy to end legalized abortion in America!

Denver Examiner shows horror of abortion

One reason abortion prevails in America has been the media black out of the images of the suffering babies being killed. Unlike the images of suffering animals which undoubtedly raise big $$$$ for the Humane Society, pre-born infants images are kept in the main stream media lock box.

For years front line rescuer, Jo Scott, stood alone in her determination to show abortion minded moms the reality of what they were about to do.

The pro-life industry squawked that the images tainted the "professional image" of their leaders in their ivory towers. Perseverance paid off and now a msm outlet has used this image of how a saline abortion scalded this tiny one, ending his or her life.

Personhood - Abortion may soon be illegal in Colorado

Personhood would define a baby as person from the moment of conception.

"The Colorado Personhood amendment will be on the ballot in 2010," says Jo Scott (avid Personhood supporter). "That is no thanks to the Colorado Secretary of State’s office. In order to get the Personhood amendment on the ballot in Colorado , 76,000 signatures were needed by late January. 79,648 signatures were turned in on time."

On March 4, the Secretary of State disclosed that 20.63% of the 79,648 signatures submitted by Personhood Colorado were invalid.

The signatures were thrown out because of a recently implemented law prohibiting Colorado notaries from stating “personally known” on a petition as a valid ID. The new law was literally unknown to the notaries in the state. Even the Secretary of State, Bernie Buescher, was unaware of the law. Although a spokesman for the state says the law is clear, it is not the citizen’s duty to train notaries how to do their jobs. A lawsuit is currently being considered by Personhood Colorado to vindicate the thousands of signatures that were tossed.

Shirking responsibility, Komen likes to focus on the cure!

As transcribed from a recording of the meeting, CRTL asked, "Why aren't women being told about the most preventable risk factor?" to which Komen's Brandorff answered, "We tend to focus on the cure... we're focusing our energies on that, rather than the preventative."

held with Denver's Susan G Komen leadership. We met just prior to their annual Race for the Cure event to which we have brought a truth truck message, "Breast cancer's most avoidable risk factor: Abortion," for the past 8 years.

We were discussing why Komen continues to give grants to Planned Parenthood in light of growing evidence about the
ABC link.

Now Jill Stanek has uncovered a deeper and more disturbing connection between Susan G Komen and Planned Parenthood.

"In my previous column, I revealed that the son of the founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is in a joint business venture with Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest....

Eric Brinker wrote me that only "20 of Komen's 122 US affiliates fund breast health services through local Planned Parenthood clinics."

Coincidentally, 2 of those 20, Komen Puget Sound and Komen Boise, fund Brinker's business partner, PPGNW (corroboration at links)....

All 5 PPGNW clinics involved with Komen either commit or refer for abortions. All dispense birth-control pills and emergency contraceptives....

A 2009 study... showed that the risk for women under 40 of contracting a newly identified and virulent form of the disease called triple-negative breast cancer rose by 320% if using hormonal contraceptives for a year or more."

WHEREAS, many pro-life citizens have become frustrated in their attempts to re-criminalize abortion since it was made legal in Colorado 43 years ago and in all 50 states 37 years ago; and

WHEREAS, one attempt to re-criminalize abortion is by introduction of citizen initiatives called "Personhood Amendments," which would purport to establish the fact that unborn babies are "persons" under the law and would therefore have protection under the U.S. Constitution; and

WHEREAS, this tactic has been thoroughly studied by the most knowledgeable and experienced legal experts of several pro-life organizations, including the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops; National Right to Life Committee; Eagle Forum; and Americans United for Life, a Chicago-based lawyers group and the oldest pro-life organization in the nation; and

WHEREAS, almost without exception, these legal experts warn that if such initiatives pass, they will certainly be challenged in the courts and, given the present make-up of the state and federal courts, they will be overturned, thus having diverted considerable time, effort, and resources on the part of the pro-life movement; and

WHEREAS, these same legal experts further warn that court rulings against such measures could also do more harm by more firmly entrenching the "non-personhood" status of unborn babies, thus having the opposite effect of the proponents of the initiatives; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the ____________ County Republican Party commend the intentions of those who wish to re-criminalize abortion, but urge such individuals and groups to reconsider their tactics in attempting to do so until enough state and federal officials are elected who will appoint and approve more judges who respect the value of human life; and be it further

The events of the past month have been a microcosm of the 15 year long struggle of the wonderful Schindler family to help their beautiful daughter and sister, Terri survive what seems to be a massive Pinellas Park, FL conspiracy against her life.

The agony I have experienced these few intense weeks, watching this court ordered execution, is miniscule compared to those who have loved her, have cherished her smile, her struggle to communicate, her touch. They have taught us well the notions of nobility, compassion, dignity, as well as fighting to the bitter end to save a life.

Against all odds, their loved one became an international celebrity and, like another with no such desire, Terri Schindler became the Roe v Wade of the euthanasia movement. Her state-sanctioned, court ordered starvation and dehydration murder had to be successfully achieved – and so the "powers that be" backed down from the fight for an innocent woman and the future of our nation.

It has been my privilege to have been involved in the biggest epic struggle of my lifetime, trying to spare Terri’s life and allow her to receive the therapy she so richly deserved.

My photos – taken at Hospice Woodside – captured this travesty and the thousands who tried to stop the madness. Never before in U.S. History has this heinous act been perpetrated upon an innocent woman, who had committed no crime. Our nation will pay a price. This bitter saga - carried out on the public stage for 14 days, culminated during Holy Week. The struggle separated the wheat from the chaff. The leaders of our country feigned sorrow about this “tragic situation” but were found severely wanting when it came to really saving a life.

Terri deserved better, her family deserved better, our nation’s children deserved better, our nation deserved better. President Bush and Governor Bush had a constitutional mandate to protect the constitutional rights of their citizens. They squandered it and now a circuit court “judge” is the most powerful man in the land. He has likely put the final nail in the coffin of our system of checks and balances.

A mother’s love for a baby she has carried never fades and can never be destroyed. Mary’s love was beyond measure – her dedication to the life she brought forth into this world has taught us all about the never ending quest to protect that life, despite the incredible cost. Her opponents have taught us about the macabre, the depraved and the demented.

Michael Schiavo plans to bury Terri’s ashes in Pennsylvania, once the evidence of possible abuse has been eradicated. The Lord, however, works in mysterious ways.

God have mercy upon the soul of this land!

Rep. Diana DeGette of Denver emerged in recent weeks as the House's most vocal defender of abortion rights. She was in late-night negotiations with Democratic leadership. She kept a worn piece of paper in her purse to keep track of votes. She kept a letter signed by 40 Democrats refusing to support an overhaul that restricted access to abortion.

Seth MacFarlane marked the five-year-anniversary of Terri Schiavo's court-ordered death by staging a preschool musical about it in his crass FOX cartoon, "Family Guy."
MacFarlane denied Schiavo human dignity in the March 21 episode by referring to her in lyrics sung by cartoon preschoolers as "the most expensive plant you'll ever see" and a "vegetable," and noted "her mashed potato brains."

The child who played the role of Schiavo's husband, Michael, ultimately concluded, "There's only one solution, it's in the Constitution, we've got to pull the plug."

As an individual who spent most of March 2005 in front of Hospice Woodside, where Terri Schiavo was murdered, I cannot
tell you how ashamed I am of Fox Broadcasting for allowing your recent Family Guy episode, mocking a disabled woman, to assault your viewers. What cultural filth!

My 2 books of photos taken there show the real truth about those who came to oppose Terri's judicial execution. My photo essay captured the hundreds, if not thousands of people who fought valiantly to save Terri's life. Do you really want to mock them, for their noble sacrifice on behalf of an innocent woman who was being starved and dehydrated during Holy Week?

How ironic that Fox News prides itself on being "fair and balanced." If you think it is fair to defame a brain damaged woman and cause further pain to her remaining loved ones, I'm appalled beyond words.

I've always championed Fox as above the bias of mainstream media but I now plan to do everything possible to bring attention to this despicable trash and the program's sponsors.

Our culture is descending rapidly into the sewer and this kind of ugly and mean spirited programing is leading the way to an America where no one is truly safe and where those of us who seek to protect innocent lives will not want to live.

Fox Broadcasting has sunk to lows I never could have anticipated.

Personhood Works, Regulations Don't

This is a more coherent recap & expansion on my earlier blog post on regulations, and why they undermine the Personhood of the unborn child -- "How We Compromise Ourselves."

I do not question the well-meaning intentions of those legislators who support, or even write, compromise legislation which tries to put limits on abortion in circumstances where a total abortion ban is not realistically possible. We can argue later about which is more "politically realistic" (I think Personhood is, still). But the fact that I believe in the good intentions of the pro-life regulators does not mean that I don't care whether they stop pushing regulations -- I do! -- or that I approve of what they're doing -- I don't! -- or that I will always continue to support regulation-minded legislators if they continue to ignore warnings about the unintended consequences of what they do.

I think the main thing “pro-life regulators” need to understand is that, whether or not Personhood is "practical" in a legal sense (which is the main objection of those pro-lifers who oppose the Personhood strategy, including Archbishop Charles Chaput and Clarke Forsythe of AUL), our primary problem as pro-lifers is that we've been making the wrong argument -- one which won't "change peoples' hearts" (which everybody agrees is the goal, and yet incrementalists are convinced they DO have the right argument).

A True Inspiration

There are many saints in Colorado who stand in the gap for the unborn, but none as precious as Mary Henning. Mary was born in 1911; left home at 16, got an education, became a psychiatric nurse and married.

Mary became pregnant with her first child when she was forty years old.

But because she and her husband were struggling to make ends meet while caring for her aging mother-in-law they thought it would not be possible to care for an infant.

Mary went to her doctor and asked him to abort her child.

He refused to do the abortion.

So Mary had a little girl that she named Marie. Marie grew up in a loving home and eventually learned of the saving grace of Jesus and her name was added to the Lamb’s book of life. And when Mary was 62 years old Marie led her to the Lord.

Mary was no ordinary Christian. She hit the ground running. She was a willing servant in her church, a prayer warrior and faithfully protested against abortion at the Planned Parenthood in Denver. Mary openly told her story, always thanking God that she did not go through with the abortion because the daughter that she wanted to abort led her to Christ.

As Mary aged she needed a cane, then a walker to help her stand at the corner while holding her sign that said “You can still change your mind”. It was the first appeal seen by all the abortion bound mothers approaching the mill from the north.

Finally, Mary could no longer stand and needed assistance to reach her chair on the corner where she sat and resolutely held her sign.

After Mary’s 97th birthday it became too difficult for Mary to make it out to the picket line, so she prayed for babies to be saved and abortion to end.

Mary died March 2, 2010; she would have been 99 years old on the 17th of March. She ran the good race and today she’s with Jesus. Her testimony, dogged determination and love of Christ should inspire us all to follow in her footsteps…

If You, Twist And, Turn Away

Shaking with fury, indignation, and sadness, I wept at the viewing of The Stoning of Soraya M, a movie that surprised me when I thought I could not be surprised.

The film is set in the Iran of the Ayatollahs, based on a true story, a million miles from the beaches of Los Angeles, where the Porches cruise and the plastic is visible at twenty paces in faces of awkward pixies. That's where I am now, reeling.

But where I expected Iran, and Mullahs, and sharia and injustice, I did not expect how utterly familiar this movie was. I expected foreign film; it starts with a French reporter, perfect. I thought to have never seen anything of the like, and to be outraged at the alien nature of the evil. I wasn't. I stared in familiar shock at intimate hoodlums. And I couldn't believe that I believe I'd seen it - sharp, slap, repetition.

In the passion of Terri Schiavo I remember a husband, brute like an unthinking slug, a cretin. I remember he was an abuser of women, a piker, a sloth. I remember that Terri's x-rays showed her many broken bones - the times she'd buttoned up her blouse and pressed on.

DENVER -- Colorado abortion opponents say they have enough signatures to put an abortion-ending proposal on the ballot this fall - potentially the first state this election year to see the question.

Abortion opponents turned in more than 46,000 signatures on Thursday, the second deadline for the ballot initiative.

The group needs only about 15,700 of those signatures to be deemed valid for the abortion question to go to ballots this fall.

The amendment would give unborn fetuses human rights in the state constitution, setting up a likely conflict with the U.S. Constitution over a woman's right to abortions.

Personhood USA, the Colorado-based group pushing similar measures in 40 states this year, says it's waiting on Mississippi officials to clear signatures and approve an initiative for the ballot this fall. In Montana, abortion opponents say they'll make a June deadline for about 50,000 signatures needed to make the ballot.

Colorado Personhood Amendment Submits 46,671 Signatures – Ensures Spot on 2010 Ballot

DENVER /March 18 – Personhood Colorado, sponsors of the 2010 Personhood Amendment, today submitted 46,671 signatures to the Colorado Secretary of State’s office.

On March 4, the Colorado Secretary of State disclosed that 20.63% of the 79,648 signatures submitted by Personhood Colorado were invalid. As allowed by Colorado law, volunteers then had 15 days to replace the invalid signatures with new, valid voter signatures. That translated to over 1,000 signatures per day.

“Over the past few days, the massive quantities of signatures that poured in just amazed us,” remarked Gualberto Garcia-Jones, co-sponsor of the Personhood Ballot initiative.”That means that we collected over 2,600 signatures each day, about 2 signatures per minute. Some of our volunteers were working all hours of the day, and that is a testament to what we already knew – that Colorado citizens recognize the value of human life and have worked extremely hard to see that each human life is protected.”

The 700+ volunteer petitioners worked around the clock to gather signatures, frequenting churches, grocery stores, Tuesday Caucuses, and other public venues. Many college age church volunteers circulated the petition at Colorado St. Patrick’s Day Parades and college campuses.

“We were told that we needed to replace over 15,000 of our signatures,” commented Keith Mason, co-founder of Personhood USA. “We knew we could do it, because when you are working on such a critical, life and death issue, volunteers are passionate. We knew it would take a lot of hard work and determination, but we never expected such an outpouring of support. It is clear that the people of Colorado wanted to make a statement – that every human life should be protected by love and by law. This effort is more alive and vibrant than ever.”

A judge's decision letting Colorado's pro-abortion governor direct tax funds to Planned Parenthood and other players in the nation's abortion industry, even though taxpayers in the state specifically banned that action, is being appealed.

"The democratic process and the rule of law should not be sacrificed for the sake of benefitting Planned Parenthood's bottom line," said lead counsel Barry Arrington, one of more than 1,600 attorneys in the ADF alliance.

"The governor and other state officials are not at liberty to ignore the will of the people on this matter. Colorado voters amended the state constitution to prohibit tax dollar subsidies to abortion providers, so it's the right decision to take this to the court of appeals," he said.

WND reported in 2008 when the original lawsuit was filed, alleging Gov. Bill Ritter was violating the state's constitution.

The complaint cited state payments of $18 million to Planned Parenthood and another abortionist, despite a Colorado constitutional ban on taxpayer funds being used "directly or indirectly" for abortions.

The Denver District Court lawsuit action was brought by Arrington, who is affiliated with the Alliance Defense Fund, on behalf of taxpayer Mark Hotaling, who leads the Christian Family Alliance.

Determined To Save The Soul Of The Nation

Across the country, groundswells of Personhood efforts have already altered the focus of the pro-life movement, and over the President's Day weekend, those efforts were realized.

In two key states, we gathered enough signatures to put “Personhood” on the ballot. This Personhood Movement and the initiatives it has produced have only one goal: To restore God given dignity to every human person.

I had the honor of attending victory rallies for Personhood in both Mississippi and Colorado. The fervent energy that burns in the hearts of the valiant advocates of Personhood was an encouragement that almost defies description! Although the rallies were held over one thousand miles apart, both possessed the same purpose that can only be present when Christians band together and sacrifice their time, talent and energy for the love and protection of their neighbors.

Following the examples of heroes like Rosa Parks and William Wilberforce, Colorado volunteers collected nearly 80,000 signatures to place the “Personhood Amendment” on the ballot for a second consecutive election. And this historic achievement was the result of the sweat and labor of purely grassroots volunteers.

Just a few days later and with tears of joy, faithful volunteers delivered over 130,000 signatures to Mississippi’s Secretary of State, affirming the God-given right to life of all people. The boxes of dog eared petitions were carried into the office of the Secretary of State by mothers, daughters, fathers and sons, and most notably Mississippi’s Lt. Governor, and front-running 2011 gubernatorial candidate Phil Bryant!

We cannot know the exact effects these amendments will bring. But it is certain here and now that we have won major victories. Volunteers gathered over 200,000 signatures in two states. 2,500 churches opened their doors to the Personhood Movement. We boldly proclaimed to hundreds of thousands of people that all human life is sacred: asking and answering the provocative question: “When should human rights begin?”. While these are all victories in their own right --and are undeniable evidence of the power of this movement -- there remains a larger accomplishment that I believe will prove most indelible upon the soul of the nation.

That victory, (and I believe the most significant fruit of the Personhood Movement) is the determination now manifest in the hearts of the thousands of volunteers who are making Personhood a reality. I felt its power lift my spirit with the strength of a three-fold cord at the victory rallies. Recognizing themselves in the tiniest among us, these Christians are engaging the culture around them and selflessly giving of their time, talents and money to affirm the God-given right of Personhood for all children including the pre-born.

Undaunted by anti-personhood naysayers, these volunteers have committed their hearts, and their hands to turn back the perpetration of the most diabolical crime ever committed; a crime that includes the dehumanization and murder of an entire class of citizens. It is this determination, built upon the firm pillars of science, religion, and the common conscience of all humanity that will bring victory over the injustice of abortion. We are witnessing the emerging dominance of the most significant human rights movement of our lifetime because Christians are engaging the culture with Personhood. And the culture is responding!

I’m overwhelmed to think of the hundreds of thousands of people reached with the message of Personhood by this young and growing army of dedicated volunteers. And with the increasing momentum of the Personhood argument comes ever more Personhood volunteers determined to communicate to millions the truth that every human is a person and should be protected by love and by law. Such determination is the real victory. And while, like the future effects of the law establishing Personhood, its ultimate impact remains to be fully revealed, this victory has convinced me that dignity shall be restored to all humans. Praise God!

Ok, it really irks me to give RHReality Check's Wendy Norris credit for anything, but I have to thank her for giving my first attempt at stand up comedy a plug!

And she didn't even make note that I kind of mangled the punch line!

Her report and Tweets from our Personhood CO petition turn in and rally spread the word about our amazing feat (imo) of turning in nearly 80,000 signatures Friday to the Secretary of State. She gave my opening line a bit of note:

"I hope nobody minds but I did bring my crib notes with me today," Hanks said as she flashed her palm at the supporters. "In case you can't see this it says 23 + 23 = 46. One precious new human being made in God's image. That's embryology 101 for those egg-as-a-person supporters who might be in the audience."

but sadly went on to outright lie about me. What up, Wendy?

I never said a single word about the rather stunning red-head, Monica.

Of course, PP has a history of using attractive, black sophisticated people, as well, to sell their deadly wares.

If one reads the article, the so-called "verbal swipe" is never mentioned after the claim is made.

Colorado voters may get another chance to decide that issue.

Members of Personhood Colorado turned in nearly 80,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s office in an effort to get a proposed amendment on to the ballot.

They want to outlaw abortion.

“This amendment would change the pre-born child’s status from being property, which it currently is in Colorado, to being a human,” said Keith Mason, co-founder of Personhood USA.

Tuesday: This one's for you!!

This past summer I had the privilege of traveling to Las Vegas for a national PersonhoodUSA strategy meeting and the honor of actually being able to say a few words to the assembled about our efforts in Colorado
to legally protect pre-born babies in the womb.

As I shared about our newly launched campaign to champion life, I lapsed into a teary moment of explanation about why I decided to be a sponsor of Personhood CO 2010. My family's world had just months before been rocked by the death of our 2 year old twin granddaughter, Tuesday.

The brief message I shared that day was that life had become even more intensely special to me, since suffering such profound loss.

I told my peers that I was doing the Personhood campaign for Tuesday, "because she was so precious - and every baby is so precious and worthy of protection and welcoming into our human family."

Yes, every baby is precious - because he or she is a gift from Almighty God - and should be protected by love and law.

And so today I celebrate! As I will have the honor of delivering box after box of petitions to the Colorado Secretary of State representing the blood, sweat and tears of our volunteers in the state that started the abortion holocaust.

We are a cultural cadre - a remnant, if you will. We celebrate life! We honor God and we praise him for every new day that we are given to serve Him.

Thank you Jesus for inspiring our volunteers to work so hard these past 6 months to make it possible for us to go to the Secretary of State's office with our love offering to you and for the babies!

Thank you precious Tuesday for reminding me every time I wondered if we could do it, that for you and all the little ones, I had no choice.
