TERRI WARRIOR TACKLES CLINTON LEGACY!

How many are ever given this kind of favor from above?

"I stood about 15 feet away. I prayed she would call on me. I stood with the sun in my eyes for probably 45 minutes, raising my hand. She called on my raised hand. I asked:

“The House of Representatives impeached William Jefferson Clinton
on counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. He was held in contempt of a
federal court, was fined and disbarred from practicing law in Arkansas, and
resigned rather than be disbarred before the Supreme Court.

All of these were a consequence of his blatant lies under oath to a federal
grand jury.

Miss Clinton, your mother apologized, covered up, and lied for the lies that the
President told under oath. How then can the Hilllary campaign say the Monica Lewinsky
affair was just a personal matter, when candidate Clinton covered up perjury and committed obstruction of justice for the President of the United States?”

POWER CONCEDES NOTHING WITHOUT A DEMAND

Friday, April 04, 2008
THE REPORT FROM WASHINGTON
Today's unborn blacks: More vulnerable than slaves

Exclusive: Ellis Washington uses Frederick Douglass' 1852 speech to condemn abortion

By Ellis Washington

Power concedes nothing without a demand.
~ Frederick Douglass

Prologue

While I fully realize that the subject of abortion is an unspoken blasphemy in polite company, nevertheless during this political season I feel compelled to address this most critical issue of modern times. Why? Like slavery, abortion gives one person the power to terminate the life of another under the color of law.

Chattel slavery, or the idea that one man can own and sell another person as his own personal property, was outlawed in 1865 by force of arms in the Civil War and de jure (by law) via the 13th Amendment. Nevertheless, American society has a modern form of slavery that in my opinion is vastly more clandestine and diabolical than America's 400-year experiment with "that peculiar institution" – abortion.

AMAZING GRACE!!
How Sweet the Sound

I've been savoring Eric Metaxas' superlative book
Amazing Grace since a friend gave it to me for my
last BD. I can't say enough about how well written this book is
and how much one can learn beyond the details in Amazing Grace, the movie.

Imagine my delight when World Net Daily my favorite news source, published this
great article:

Wilberforce descendant condemns abortion
'We are no better than those slave traders'

William Wilberforce

A great, great grandson of successful anti-slavery campaigner William Wilberforce is addressing the contemporary "slavery" issue, abortion.

In a commentary on a United Kingdom blog, Gerard Wilberforce wrote he believes his ancestor, who campaigned for years for the end of the transatlantic slave trade in 1807, which led to the abolition of slavery through out British Empire in 1833, would consider the two activities similar.

"I am often asked what would be the campaigns Wilberforce would be fighting if he were alive in 21st century Britain. I believe that there would be a number of different issues – among them human trafficking and the scourge of drugs. But almost certainly at the top of the list, would be the issue of abortion," wrote Gerard Wilberforce, a Catholic priest.

"As the Human Fertilization and Embryology bill comes before Parliament over the next few weeks, the opportunity presents itself to amend the abortion act," he continued. "With the number of abortions having reached 200,000 per year in the UK alone, the time is right to tighten up the law that was designed to protect women by ending illegal abortion, but never to allow such a high degree of deprived life."

He said there are "great similarities" between the preborn child and the status of African slaves 200 years ago.

THANK YOU SUPER SLEUTH JILL!!

Good friend, Jill Stanek, has graciously posted
several of my photos from our fight for Terri
Schindler Schiavo - Holy Week 05 - on her
excellent site today!

If you believe Terri had dignity and infinite worth as a disabled
woman, tho Florida courts sanctioned her starvation/dehydration
murder, please go post a pro-life comment to counter the numerous
athiests on the site today demonstrating Psalm 14:1:

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are
corrupt; they have done abominable works, there is none that
doeth good!"

AND FROM THIS FASCINATING ARTICLE -
"Anti-Fetal Rhetoric: America's Best-Loved Hate Speech

We find this little gem:

"In his classic essay "Politics and the English Language, " George Orwell warned about the destruction of our minds and our culture by euphemisms and slogans. The tyrannical, thought-stifling world depicted in Orwell's novel 1984 was a place of mendacious rhetoric where the heresy of heresies was to speak plainly. The first and most basic defense against today's totalitarian terminology aimed at unborn humans is likewise plain speaking.

Plain speaking must challenge the entrenched false rhetoric on two fronts. (1) The derisive expressions must be exposed as an outrageous and insidious brand of hate speech concocted to further the pro-abortion agenda by inducing in pregnant women fear of and loathing for their preborn offspring. (2) The disparaging designations need to be discredited by documenting how closely they echo the most extreme forms of murderous name-calling in the annals of humanity."
TINY BABY MADE IN GOD'S IMAGE THROWN IN
CONTINENTAL AIRLINES TRASH!

This sad story once again incorrectly uses the
term fetus to describe a baby
apparently delivered on a plane and thrown in the garbage:

"HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A human fetus was found on a Continental airlines flight that landed at Bush Intercontinental Airport. And right now, the FBI is involved, trying to find out what happened.

Investigators say the flight was from New York to Houston late Sunday afternoon. The FBI says a cleaning crew found the fetus in the trash in a bathroom on Flight 433 out of New York's LaGuardia airport.

The Continental airlines plane was parked at gate 18, which is located at the far end of the building. The plane landed at about 4:45pm Sunday at Bush Airport. Passengers got off the plane.

An hour passed before the person cleaning the bathroom made the discovery inside a trash bag in that plane's bathroom. Investigators say the child was not a full term baby, that it was a fetus. They cannot say how far along that fetus might have been in its development."

This obsession with dehumanizing pre-born babies by calling them "fetuses" demonstrates the need for Personhood
laws. Babies must be legally protected from the moment of fertilization.

Colorado For Equal Rights is leading the way to make certain Harry Blackmun's statement, "if personhood is
ever established, the case for abortion collapses," comes true.

AN EXAMPLE OF AMERICA'S JUDICIAL CRISIS!!

Why the Colorado Personhood Amendment
is Paramount!

COLORADO JUDGE RULES VEHICULAR HOMICIDE VICTIM "NOT A PERSON"

GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO – On Thursday, March 20, Mesa County District Judge Richard Gurley declared that an unborn baby of 8 ½ months gestation is not a person.
Logan Lage was allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase when his vehicle struck Shea Lehnen's head-on. The crash resulted in the emergency C-section and subsequent death of Shea's daughter, Lileigh. However, because Baby Lileigh's death was caused by injuries she sustained before she was actually born, homicide charges against Logan Lage have been dismissed. According to Judge Gurley, Lileigh was not a "person" when she was fatally injured. Evidently, she died as a person, but was killed as a non-person.
To read more, visit: Grand Junction Sentinel.
The coroner's report ruled the death of Lileigh Lehnen a homicide. Babies gestated to 8 ½ months are nearly full-term and can easily survive outside of the womb. Regardless of these facts, Judge Gurley has ruled that homicide charges do not apply, because Lileigh was not yet born.
The Aspen Times reported that Judge Gurley wrote that three conditions must exist at the time of the homicide to qualify a victim as a "person":

• The victim is a human being.

• The victim has already been born.

• The victim is still alive.

"This outrageous ruling is a clear example of they hypocrisy of Colorado law," commented Kristi Burton, spokesperson for Colorado for Equal Rights. "If a child like Lileigh is not a person, what is she? There is no other answer. However, this case effectively illustrates the current state of our laws in Colorado and across the nation. Some states would recognize Lileigh's rights as a person, yet Colorado does not. It's high time we change this and clarify what a person actually is in Colorado. Our Human Life Amendment can lay the needed foundation to bring justice to people like Shea and Lileigh Lehnen.
Once the Colorado Human Life Amendment gets on the ballot, it will go a long way in protecting people who currently have no protection under Colorado laws. This Amendment is supported by common sense and by science. As Dr. Jerome LeJeune, an internationally recognized geneticist, wrote, "Life has a very, very long history but each individual has a very neat beginning: the moment of its conception."

Colorado for Equal Rights is a statewide grassroots organization of committed pro-life activists. Colorado for Equal Rights is sponsoring the Human Life Amendment to the Colorado Constitution, stating "(t)he term "Person" or "Persons" shall include any human from the time of fertilization." The Human Life Amendment initiative is currently working to gather petition signatures to appear on the November 2008 ballot.

Colorado RTL Public Announcement: U.S. Judicial Crisis

Colorado RTL is informing pro-lifers of a crisis among the federal judiciary. For 35 years, pro-lifers have hoped that by electing pro-life presidents such as Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and George W. Bush, America would get judges who support the God-given right to life of the unborn. Justices who we all hoped were pro-life have made it increasingly clear that they are not. Antonin Scalia has publicly stated that he would strike down any law that prohibited abortion in all fifty states, and Clarence Thomas has ruled that the culture has the right to decide to legalize the killing of unborn children. Sadly, not even one of the seven current U.S. Supreme Court Justices nominated by Republican presidents support the right to life of the unborn. Further, our pro-life presidents have nominated sixty percent of the U.S. federal judiciary, and yet the judiciary utterly rejects the right to life of the unborn. Also we should remember that the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade decision was written by a Republican Justice and passed by the Republican majority on the U.S. Supreme Court, and abortion was legalized in Colorado by Republican governor John Love in 1967. Colorado RTL is educating pro-lifers to the sobering judicial crisis because it tells us that the status quo strategy of regulating abortion over the last decades is leading to a judicial culture exactly the opposite of what the pro-life movement had expected. When we ask judges to uphold abortion regulations, that very request moves “our own” judges to accept that the government has the right to regulate the killing of children, which they do by upholding our own initiatives. Thus Colorado RTL advocates Personhood and the God-given right to life as the strategy that will one day end legalized abortion in America!

Colorado RTL invites you to an Italian Fest to hear Judie Brown, president of American Life League at $100-a-plate fundraisers to benefit Colorado’s Personhood amendment effort, April 4 in Denver, April 5 in Colorado Springs. Please RSVP to CRTL at 303 753-9394!

MY TWO TERRI S

Written on my flight home from Florida
the day after Terri Schindler Schiavo's death
from state sponsored starvation/dehydration:

Terri, meet Terri. You don’t know one another but we all have something
in common. I have had the pleasure to have been involved in heroic efforts
to save you both from the Euthanasia movement’s diabolic plans to steal your lives.

Uncanny isn’t it?

Theresa Corrao and I crossed paths in 1996. My husband and I were just about
to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. One fateful day, I heard a pathologist
named Paul Corrao on television stating that his sister Theresa was in a hospice
and was being severely overmedicated. He was trying to rescue her from the facility
and save her life. He mentioned one Susan Fox Buchanan – a Denver elder care “expert.”

Having sat in on numerous Governor’s Commission on Life and the Law meetings
in the late 1980s and early 1990s, that name jumped out at me as one heavily invested
in the pro-death ethic that so permeated the beautiful state of Colorado in those years.

I contacted Paul Corrao and warned him that there was an insidious plan afoot in my
state that he should be aware of. From that point forward Paul and I worked together
to save Theresa from those who sought to destroy her. After all, Theresa had signed
an advanced directive waiving extraordinary care hadn’t she?

Paul and I persuaded Theresa that life was worth living and that she actually might
like to sign a will to live. Unfortunately, Theresa Corrao had a severe bedsore that
needed surgical repair. Ironically, she worked for the hospital where the surgery
would take place and she had insurance to cover it with her employer, Columbia HCA.

During the planning stages for the surgery, Paul, insisted that the surgery be performed
under a local anesthesia. As a pathologist, he believed that his sister’s liver was
quite compromised by her treatment for breast cancer as well as the extremely high
amounts of morphine used in hospice prior to her leaving the facility. As Paul left
the hospital the evening before the surgery, doctors approached Terri and persuaded her
to agree to a general anesthetic, possibly stating that they wouldn’t we able to manage
her pain with a local.

Theresa underwent approximately 5 hours of surgery that fateful day. As I entered her room post surgery to confer with Paul, death was in the air. As he had feared, her liver
was unable to process the anesthesia from such a lengthy procedure. Theresa Corrao died
shortly thereafter, destroyed by the pro-death movement in Colorado – progenitor of the
euthanasia movement, nationally.

Terri Schiavo’s loved ones were holding a 24hour prayer vigil for her in front of her
Pinellas Park, FL hospice. This event was to thrust her into the international spotlight,
where she would remain, for the next 18 months. During that period, I would travel
to Florida five times to work, tirelessly, to save Terri’s life. I had the honor and
pleasure to work alongside hundreds, if not thousands of individuals dedicated to
helping Terri’s parents and siblings spare her life.

This incredible woman inspired us all to work to protect her from the insidious conspiracy by the so called “right to die” forces which found themselves in the perfect storm of circumstances arrayed to deliver Terri to their dark plot.

Former husband, Michael Schiavo, was able to persuade nearly every level of government, judiciary and media that she wouldn’t want to live as a disabled
person. Despite heroic efforts and prayers by pro-lifers and disability activists
in the US, it apparently wasn’t meant to be.

As a member of a team of lobbyists working to pass the “Jessie Jackson sip of water compromise” I am pleased to say that we never gave up as long as Terri held on for
nearly 14 days without food or water – while not even an ice chip was allowed to quench her insatiable thirst.

Terri either passed or was pushed into eternity on March 31, 2005 at the end of Holy
Week. She and her family taught us a lot about love, perseverance and dedication to family.

Her president and governor taught us they knew little to nothing about the constitution
which guaranteed Terri due process of law and religious liberty as well as freedom from cruel and unusual punishment.

As our nation this week mourns the passing of Pope John Paul and tries to make
sense of Terri’s senseless death and the Florida corruption which ensured it, I ponder
the irony of losing 2 friends named Terri to a death machine that has its origin in
my beautiful state, Colorado. Like the hospice grounds where Terri was held hostage
for the past five years, what looks beautiful to the undiscerning eye, often has below the
surface – deadly evil.
