REMEMBERING THE DAY THE SEXUAL REVOLUTION BEGAN

The Bad Decision
That Started It All

ROBERT P. GEORGE & DAVID L. TUBBS

Forty years ago, in Griswold v. Connecticut, the Supreme Court of the United States struck down state laws forbidding the sale, distribution, and use of contraceptives on the basis of a novel constitutional doctrine known as the “right to marital privacy.” At the time, the decision appeared to be harmless.

After all, Griswold simply allowed married couples to decide whether to use contraceptives. But the Supreme Court soon transformed the “right to privacy” (the reference to marriage quickly disappeared) into a powerful tool for making public policy. In Eisenstadt v. Baird (1972), the Court changed a right of spouses — justified in Griswold precisely by reference to the importance of marriage — into a right of unmarried adults to buy and use contraceptives. Then, in a move that plunged the United States into a “culture war,” the Court ruled in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton (1973) that this generalized “right to privacy” also encompassed a woman’s virtually unrestricted right to have an abortion.

American Life League Applauds Habitat for Humanity For Ending Relationship with Planned Parenthood

WASHINGTON, D.C. (04 June 2008) - Jim Sedlak, vice president for American Life League, issued the following statement about Habitat for Humanity of Sarasota, FL ending its cooperation with Planned Parenthood:

"We received news this morning that the Board of Directors of Habitat For Humanity of Sarasota, Inc. voted last evening to disengage itself from Planned Parenthood and not go through with a planned land deal. We are extremely pleased that the Habitat board saw fit to take this action."

“In early May, Sarasota Habitat had agreed to buy a piece of land from Planned Parenthood for $10 and agreed to build multi-family housing on the land. This agreement allowed Planned Parenthood to fulfill a zoning requirement it needed in order to get an occupancy permit for a new abortion facility it is building in Sarasota. American Life League worked with local pro-lifers and publicized this fact across the country, resulting in a large number of phone calls to local Habitat offices as well as Habitat for Humanity International offices.”

“Organizations must realize that associating themselves with Planned Parenthood – operators of the nation’s largest abortion chain – will be viewed negatively by many good people in this country. Planned Parenthood is a controversial organization and that controversy will transfer to any group associated with Planned Parenthood.”

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death. MIRACULOUS IMPOSSIBILITY!

Just ask the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
who in 1965 redefined pregnancy to be, "the implantation of
the fertilized ovum" in the womb. According to the great Baylyblog, article on morning after pills and Christian pharmacists, ACOG was simply manipulating facts to suit their ideological agenda - allowing for the IUD.

So, interestingly, although they were guilty of fudging on the definition of pregnancy, even they admit a "fertilized ovum" is the beginning of life. While the Denver Post persists in mocking the Colorado for Equal Rights Personhood Amendment as the "fertilized egg effort," it seems as though the experts recognize the truth. In fact, in a recent survey sent to 112 ACOG members, 70 of 96 (73%) said conception was a synonym for fertilization and only 23 of 96 (24%) said conception was a synonym for implantation in their own clinical practices.

Miracle of mother who gave birth to baby girl after a nine-month ectopic pregnancy
By RICHARD SHEARS and NICOLA BODEN
Last updated at 12:18 AM on 01st June 2008

Doctors are calling her a 'miracle baby' - the little girl who was delivered alive and well after growing in her mother's ovary instead of the womb.

For nine months, Meera Thangarajah and her husband Ravi were completely unaware their baby was anything but normal.

It was only during the birth, at just before full term, that midwives realised they were dealing with a medical phenomenon.

Her parents have called the little girl 'Durga' meaning Goddess, because 'she is our little deity', a beaming Mr Thangarajah said today.

British experts say the chances of a baby being carried for so long in this way and both mother and child surviving unharmed are a million to one.

Million to one: Ravi Thangarajah cuddles her miracle baby daughter Durga who grew inside her ovary for almost nine months

Professor James Walker, spokesman for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, said Mrs Thangarajah was 'very lucky'.

Bill Ritter
With today's signature on SB200, Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, a Democrat, has eliminated gender-specific restrooms and locker rooms statewide, giving woman and girls reason to fear being confronted by predators, cross-dressers "or even a homosexual or heterosexual male," according to a critic.

The state's new "transgender nondiscrimination" bill makes it illegal to deny a person access to public accommodations, including restrooms and locker rooms, based on gender identity or the "perception" of gender identity.

Ritter signed the Expanded Discrimination Prohibitions, approved by the legislature, with this definition:

"'Sexual orientation' means a person's orientation toward heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, or transgender status or another person's perception thereof."

"Who would have believed that the Colorado state legislature and its governor would have made it fully legal for men to enter and use women’s restrooms and locker-room facilities without notice or explanation?" said James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, the Christian publishing and broadcast ministry in Colorado Springs.

(Story continues below)

"Henceforth, every woman and little girl will have to fear that a predator, bisexual, cross-dresser or even a homosexual or heterosexual male might walk in and relieve himself in their presence," Dobson said. "The legislation lists every conceivable type of organization to which this law applies, including restaurants, bathhouses, massage parlors, mortuaries, theaters and 'public facilities of any kind.' Those who would attempt to protect females from this intrusion are subject to a fine of up to $5,000 and up to one year behind bars.

"This is your government in action. It represents a payback to Tim Gill and two other billionaires who have essentially 'bought' state legislators with enormous campaign contributions. Coloradans deserve better!" Dobson said.

"And by the way, because of the way this bill is written, it is not subject to the initiative process. There is no recourse,” Dobson said.

According to the bill, business owners and managers of restaurants, gyms, barber shops, massage parlors and managers of public facilities "of any kind whether indoor or outdoor" cannot deny a person employment or access to a facility based on gender identity or that "perception."

The bill also makes it illegal to discriminate based on "sexual orientation" when renting, selling or leasing housing or when selecting members for jury duty." Penalties for those who discriminate against others based on gender identity include fines and/or time in jail.

The same issue, on which WND has reported, already has created a mess in Montgomery County, Md., where a lawsuit is pending seeking to deprive residents of the right to vote on whether they want their restrooms and locker rooms opened to men who believe they're women.

WND reported the Montgomery County Board of Elections certified a petition assembled by Maryland Citizens for a Responsible Government that would be placed on the November election ballot.

The petition seeks to reverse a county law adopted in recent months that aims to "protect" transgender people from discrimination in housing, employment, public accommodations and various services. Critics say instead it would virtually eliminate the ability of businesses, clubs or anyone providing a "public facility" to prevent men from entering women's showers, and vice versa.

The Colorado bill says churches, synagogues, mosqu and other places used principally for religious purposes are not included in the definition of "place of public accommodation."

"Lest we think that this is just the 'bathroom bill,' I'd like us also to realize that this really is about Christian businesspeople being able to practice their faith through their profession," Rep. Amy Stephens said, citing an Albuquerque photographer who refused to photograph a same sex couple's ceremony, was brought before the New Mexico Civil Rights Commission, found guilty and fined $6,000.

Dobson warned the Colorado bill now will be "coming to every state in the country."

A 5 MILLION DOLLAR PROTEST!!

May 28, 2008 Joris Brinkerhoff planned to treat Planned Parenthood contributors to an evening of good food, good drink, and good music in hopes of raising big bucks for the abortion industry. Joris owns a 5 million dollar home that backs up to the elite Denver Country Club. The setting was beautiful, the night was gorgeous and the pro lifers were magnificent.

Attendees were greeted outside the entrance to the mansion by a bloody abortion doctor wielding broken and bloodied dolls while he thanked them for their help to kill the babies. " It's a big job, I can't do it all by myself, he chided. Thanks for your help." Next they had to drive through an archway that read "Baby Killers". They were stunned to say the least. Some drove by the entrance, but faithful pro lifers directed them back to the "Baby Killers" gate. If by chance they made it around to the back entrance they were met with another incredible street scene including a huge truth truck, protesters holding graphic signs and sidewalk art.

Once the guests were all safely inside and away from the "scene" on the street they had a few minutes to relax. But, only for a few minutes. Running along side the Brinerhoff property to the west is a public alleyway that allowed the pro lifers to look directly down on the garden party, completely unobstructed. It was a protesters dream. The pro aborts were going to "enjoy their cocktails" and dine within feet of the protest. Their cocktails were served with a healthy dose of the gospel message with a backdrop of the "baby killers" archway and graphic signs to remind them of exactly where their money was going.

The salads were delivered to the tables on the terrace by waiters and waitress in formal attire only to sit in the elements for over an hour before the first few people made their way to the tables. The pro lifers were polite and allowed most of the guests be seated before Pastor Bob Enyart announced that Pastor CJ was going to pray for their meal. Pastor CJ prayed a beautiful blessing on their food and reminded them of the war on the babies. And for their listening enjoyment he began to preach to them about the destiny of their souls and how to be saved. ALLELUIA!

As soon as Pastor CJ finished with his sermon, Ken Scott preached to them about global warming, better known as the lake of fire. A waiter, in an attempt to save the day plugged in a boom box to drown out the truth. Most of the people attending the event were over fifty and they looked extremely uncomfortable. The music was loud and abrasive (Speaking from first hand experience, most people over fifty do not enjoy loud and abrasive music.) and it did very little to dampen the sound from the preachers. Occasionally, when the music paused all the pro lifers chanted "No killing with tranquility".

Shame is a powerful tool to bring sinners to repentance and it was served on the golden platter of the truth by pro lifers at the Brinkerhoff' home last night. Not only did contributors to Planned Parenthood have good food, good drink, good music, but they heard the Truth of the one and only Good One, Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

Victory!
Ken and Jo Scott

STOPP HELPS HABITAT REALIZE THEY HAVE A REAL
TAR BABY ON THEIR HANDS!

Habitat for Humanity helps PP open an abortuary

We have received news from our Associate group in Sarasota, Florida that Planned Parenthood plans to build a new killing center in the Rosemary District, north of downtown Sarasota. But according to zoning rules, PP cannot do this unless a liner building, intended as multifamily, on Cohen Way, is built at the back of the lot.

PP approached the Planning Board and asked for a five-year extension, since it is not a builder and couldn't find a buyer for this lot. In order for PP to get a certificate of occupancy, it must get a building permit for the residential building. However, the board refused PP's request.

Unfortunately, PP found a creative solution to its problem, with the help of Habitat for Humanity. PP sold land to Habitat for $10.

S0, Habitat for Humanity, an organization that claims to be a Christian ministry, is now working with PP. Habitat for Humanity said that this was only a real estate transaction, but PP could not have opened the abortion facility if the lot was not used for a residential building, so, yes, Habitat for Humanity is helping PP open its doors.

According to Habitat for Humanity's web site,

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety.

Apparently, Habitat believes that living next to PP, an organization that murders innocent preborn babies, pushes pornography onto children and covers up for rapists is a place where people can "live in dignity and safety."

At a meeting of the Sarasota City Commission on May 5, the commission approved a plan to get the PP abortuary opened, based on the agreement with Habitat. A letter that PP filed with the city before the meeting said, "We are excited to have Habitat be a part of the Planned Parenthood team."

We encourage all STOPPers to contact Habitat for Humanity and demand they break this agreement: Habitat for Humanity, 1757 N. East Ave., Sarasota, FL 34234, 941-365-0700, tsouza@sarasotahabitat.com.

We also encourage you to contact Habitat for Humanity International to register your complaint. You can reach them at 1-800-HABITAT. They also have a complaint line: 1-877-434-4435.

Please contact both the Sarasota and the international office and let them know that Habitat should have nothing to do with Planned Parenthood.

EARTH TO GOVERNOR MINNER

Corrie Ten Boom?

GOVERNOR MINNER, WHAT WILL YOUR LEGACY
BE?

Lady MacBeth?

WEITZ EXEC FLEES FROM TRUTH!

Today the Collaborators Project conducted
another Holiday Home Visit at the residence of Gary Meggison, in Lakewood, Colorado.

About 20 protestors of the Planned Parenthood Super Baby Death Camp, being built by Weitz
in a minority neighborhood at Stapleton, gathered, sang songs and preached God's word to Mr. Meggison and his neighbors.

Cal Zastrow brought a strong message, begging Gary and his neighbors' hearts to break for the
4,000 innocent pre-born babies who are murdered by Planned Parenthood and America's abortionists, daily.

Lakewood Police were called and asked us to keep the preaching level down. As the Christians continued with songs, Meggison left home to flee from the truth he was forced to confront.

With due respect to the office of Governor of the State of Delaware:

"As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over
them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy
the way of thy paths. Isaiah 3:12 "
(The Authorized King James Version)

Governor Minner:

I am sad to receive your reply, but not totally surprised for:

It is contrary to God's Word that women should rule in the place of men.

In fact, it is a judgment on our nation when women rule: Were men of
great godly conviction and fortitude standing where you are standing
now, Lauren's life might be spared.

It is our nation's greatest shame, that those godly men are not to be
found at their posts.

Leaving Lauren's life to you, you who will leave her innocent life to
be guarded by the dogs of the judiciary, will only hasten Lauren
Richardson's death without trial or reason. You will stand by and do
nothing, wiping the crocodile tears you shed for Lauren, from blinded
eyes, begging prayers on her behalf from other gods than the God of
the Scriptures Who demands Lauren's Personhood should be shielded,
protected and defended, by you: You, and everyone on Earth who claims
they pray to the One True God.

Sincerely and with tears,

$10,000 Offer to National RTL From American RTL to Name 'One' Pro-Life Justice
PR Newswire
Article Last Updated: 05/21/2008 12:53:40 PM MDT

DENVER, May 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- "American Right To Life is offering attorney James Bopp $10,000 for National RTL," said the group's president Brian Rohrbough, "if he can name a single justice on the current U.S. Supreme Court who has ever acknowledged that the unborn child has a right to life, whether in a majority opinion or a dissent."

"A quarter century after Bopp and NRTL refused President Ronald Reagan's offer to work toward federalpersonhood legislation, they have long opposed all state personhood efforts," says the group's site AmericanRTL. HYPERLINK "http://americanrtl.org/" org.

On May 13, Colorado pro-lifers turned in 131,000 signatures exceeding by 55,000 the number needed to force a statewide vote to acknowledge in law the personhood of the unborn child.

"National Right to Life has misled the pro-life community to think that this is the wrong time to advocate personhood because we need one more Justice on the Supreme Court to have a pro-life majority," said Rohrbough. "But if we added a Justice who would uphold the right to life of the unborn, then we would haveonly one such Justice. The failed long-term strategy of regulating the killing of a fetus has left America without a single Justice who knows that it's wrong to kill an unborn baby; NRTL's compromise will never produce a pro-life court."

STANDING UP TO THE HOUNDS OF HELL!!

God bless Nadine!

British Abortion Advocates Target Pro-Life MP With Harassment Campaign

by Steven Ertelt
LifeNews.com Editor
May 16, 2008

London, England (LifeNews.com) -- Vandalism and harassment are nothing new for pro-life advocates in the United States and now a leading pro-life member of the British Parliament is feeling the heat. Nadine Dorries, who is heading up a campaign to reduce late-term abortions, is the target of threats and harassment.

Dorries, a Conservative Party MP, is leading an effort to tighten the limit on late-term abortions from 24 to 20 weeks into pregnancy.

That has earned her significant publicity in the British media but also the scorn of extreme abortion advocates who want to allow late-term abortions.

Dorries tells the Bedford Today newspaper she has received threatening messages over the phone and in the mail and suspicious packages that she has reported to authorities.

The intimidation campaign has also included abortion advocates writing threatening messages on the windows of her home.

"The hounds of hell are chasing me," Dorries said in a post on her web site. "Scary, threatening angry and downright nasty phone calls. A message smeared on my window."

"This is all meant to destabilize or distract me. I have a very clear message to those who are attempting to do this - back off," she said, standing her ground.

"You will not stop me, you will not undermine me, you do not scare me. In fact, you make me much more determined than I ever was before. You give me strength," she added.

Dorries said she had received an email of support from Michael Clancy, the photographer who took the famous picture of Samuel Armas, who was operated on in surgery while he was still is his mother's womb.

Armas is show in the photo clutching the finger of his physician while he was still 21 weeks into the pregnancy.

Clancy encouraged Dorries to continue her efforts to protect unborn children who are victims of late-term abortions.

AND ANOTHER FOR LAUREN!

Dear Governor Minner:

The bottom line regarding the preservation of Lauren Richardson's life
is that she is a living person and guilty of no crime that would
demand her death.

Innocent life is not negotiable.

No lawyer's brief or report from a team of physicians can change the
radical truth that Lauren Richardson's Personhood is reason enough to
keep her alive. And not just "enough" but reason to call in the troops
to preserve, defend and protect Laurel's life from those who would
dare to extinguish her God ordained being, in our world. It is
Personhood that must be protected at every single level in the
continuum of life from birth, through frailty and old age. Personhood
is reason enough to honor the living with life. Personhood is reason
enough to honor the dead. Personhood raises the monuments to our
fallen, our wounded, our heroes. Personhood raises the infirmary and
the missionary and the nursing mother at 4 AM. Personhood is enough to
preserve the yet to be born, the yet to die, the dying and the ill.

Governor Minner, as you consider your options regarding the situations
before you as a governor of the persons living in your state, let
Lauren Richardson's Personhood recalibrate your mind, heart, spirit
and gumption sir; it is an easy decision to make, because Personhood
cannot be denied.

As the United States accepts the euthanization of its Persons, it
slips further and further down among its corpses, morally debased,
utterly hollow of spirit and conviction.

Be the strong voice against the lie. Stand up. Speak out. Lead:Save
Lauren Richardson's Personhood.

I will then join my voice to yours.

Most sincerely,

Eve Sanchez Silver

HERE'S ONE FOR LAUREN!!

Governor Ruth Minner
State of Delaware
governor.minner@state.de.us

Dear Governor Minner:

I am writing to you concerning the life of Lauren Richardson. I am asking that you intervene in order to save Lauren from what I fear is an imminent court order indicating that Lauren be starved and dehydrated to death.

I know that it may be easy for some people to say that in her current state her life is not worth living and therefore not worth saving, but I ask you to search your heart. There have been several people in recent years that have suddenly been awakened from comas. I ask you to consider that the same thing may happen for Lauren. She may wake up one day and ask to see her daughter.

What happens when this child grows up wondering how an entire state of people could stand by as they did Terri Schiavo--watching her mom starve to death?

As summer draws near I am spending more and more time enjoying bright skies and warm breezes. These are things…even in a coma that Lauren can feel. As I grow thirsty and guzzle down bottles of refreshing ice cold water, I can’t help but think that there are people who will go to great lengths to keep Lauren from receiving hydration. I can’t imagine being that thirsty.

I wonder if Lauren’s daughter will one day ask how so many people could stand by as her mother’s lips dried and cracked—her tongue swelling up—with dark sunken eyes planted in ashy, scaly, flaking, skeletal skin.

Governor Minner, I am begging you to do what others in your position, (and higher), were not courageous enough to do in Florida. I am asking you to use the power that your office holds to stand up for the life of this young girl.

In an era of “dead beat dads”, society presses fathers to step up to the plate to take care of their children. Lauren has a father who wants to do just that.

Please, grant Lauren Richardson a “stay of execution.” Please, allow her to live.

Sincerely,

Day Deborah Lipford-Gardner

President, National Black Pro-Life Union

PUTTING FACES TO BURMA'S HORROR!

Winds of change coming to Myanmar

The horrific cyclone that killed thousands in Burma may change. A biography about a Catholic of Burma is a testament of faith and hope in the face of a brutal dictatorship sustained by torture and rape.

Thursday, May 15, 2008 By Lord David Alton

Throughout the 18 years since Aung San Suu Kyi has been under house arrest, the Burmese military regime have repeatedly promised and failed to deliver democratic change. These are the same secretive leaders who gave orders for Buddhist monks to be mown down in the streets and who are now impeding rescue efforts as hundreds of thousands of their countrymen die following the decimation of their homes and land by Cyclone Nargis. They are the same men who have ignored 28 United Nations General assembly and Human Rights Commission resolutions
