The condition of a 27-year-old woman who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Stapleton neighborhood has been upgraded from critical to serious condition, authorities say.
The improvement comes a day after Laura Gorham's condition worsened to critical condition on Friday, said Kalena Wilkinson, spokeswoman for Denver Health Medical Center.
Gorham's family released a statement today asking for help in finding the hit-and-run driver.

“Personhood would have given justice to this child. We lost the election but truth always gets the last word,” Bob Enyart with Colorado Right to Life said.
"Enyart says Colorado Right to Life will use this case as an example when they try again in the legislature and through ballot initiatives."
Our hearts are in solidarity with the Gorham family in their tragic loss.
