Greetings!
Just a quick note to all of my fellow laborers on behalf of unborn babies. We are doing amazingly well! With a final, big effort from all of us in the next 31 days, we will see tremendous results!

I know you have given so much of your time and energy to putting personhood on the ballot so far – and believe me, I could not be more amazed by what you've accomplished. Kristi and her family have said they are overwhelmed by the hard work you've invested into this ballot initiative, and I am honored to be working with you!

I do have a major request. We have 31 days left. If you have contributed an hour a week to getting signatures, please consider contributing two hours. Or maybe more, Sandra a few weeks ago spent 4 hours in front of King Soopers in Wheat Ridge and collected 350 SIGNATURES!

You can make a huge difference just by stepping out with just a little of your time.

I am pouring myself into this effort because on May 13th I don't want to say "I could have done more". What about you?
We need every available volunteer getting signatures at every available moment! Your efforts will ensure that Personhood is on the ballot. If we all push ourselves, and do even more in the next few weeks, we can be successful!

So many people said we could not do this. Planned Parenthood will be stunned when they see what we've done, getting 76,000 signatures, with just a grassroots coalition!

I am happy to report to you that we are almost there!
If you can commit to any more time giving signatures in this last little bit of time we have, it could make or break the campaign. I don't want to miss the mark by just a few thousand signatures! We are putting out a call – anyone who possibly can invest any more time into Personhood, please do it! Again, we are almost there!

If you haven't yet gotten signatures at your church, please talk to your pastor and see if you can have a petition there this Sunday! Remember, Time is short!

If you are able to join us when we turn in the petitions, on May 12, please keep circulating your petition until that time, then join us to have them notarized and submitted before we turn them in to the Secretary of State.

American Right To Life Movie Marathon

American RTL members in Denver are holding a movie marathon viewing every showing on opening weekend of Ben Stein's new movie, Expelled – No Intelligence Allowed, Friday through Sunday, April 18-20.
According to the group's website, ARTL president Brian Rohrbough was contacted by the executive producer of Expelled, John Sullivan, one year before the start of production. In a three-hour meeting Rohrbough encouraged the filmmakers to expose Darwinism's connection to genocide, including Nazism and other social ills. A sneak preview attended by ARTL members confirms that Ben Stein and the Expelled producers have courageously linked the teaching that men are advanced animals, to the outcome of men behaving like animals.

"A number of school shooters from Columbine to Finland justify their own wicked actions as being authorized by evolution and 'natural selection' giving them the right and even the obligation, as Klebold and Harris said in their basement videos, to murder those they deem weaker or inferior," said Mr. Rohrbough, whose son Danny was murdered at Columbine High School. "After the Rocky Mountain News ran the autopsy finding that one of the murderers wore to the crime a t-shirt that read, 'Natural Selection,' the paper's editors showed themselves to be deceptive by reporting, "It is not clear what the shirt's inscription referred to, but there is a video game with the same name."
UrbanDictionary.com accurately quotes one of the Columbine murderers as writing that they would "kick natural selection up a few notches."

Wilberforce Descendant Endorses Colorado Human Life Amendment

DENVER, CO (April 9, 2008) Colorado for Equal Rights campaign has picked up the endorsement of the great great grandson of William Wilberforce, Father Gerard Wilberforce.

The Colorado For Equal Rights Campaign Director, Keith Mason, spoke with Fr. Gerard Wilberforce last week, explaining that "We are going to keep fighting until we protect all of these little ones."
In answer to Mason's comments, Fr. Wilberforce replied "Yes, that is just the way William Wilberforce would have done it."

Wilberforce has told campaign officials that he would be willing to help out the campaign, and he sent this statement to all of the volunteers working on the campaign:

"Two hundred years ago William Wilberforce campaigned on behalf of slaves who were not treated as human beings. Today society does not treat the beginnings of human life as persons who demand our respect. Abortion is widespread because people do not consider the unborn to be worthy of legal protection."
He continued, "Those who are working for the rights of the unborn could therefore look to the example of the abolitionists and take heart. It may not come immediately but good people will eventually change the law. People will then look back and ask how it was that abortions were ever committed. in the same way we look back in horror at the evils of slavery. God bless all of you who work for no reward only to see justice prevail for those last able to defend themselves." -Gerard Wilberforce, great great grandson of William Wilberforce.
William Wilberforce was an evangelical Christian who headed the British Parliamentary campaign against the British slave trade, and was largely responsible for abolishing the British slave trade.

"As we are in our final weeks of getting signatures, Fr. Wilberforce's encouragement is an exciting jolt that will encourage our volunteers as they work to put personhood on the ballot," said Kristi Burton, Spokesperson for Colorado For Equal Rights.
She continued "I am so thankful for Father Gerard Wilberforce's support. He serves as an inspiration to all of us, just as his great great grandfather did. "

Colorado for Equal Rights is a statewide grassroots organization of committed pro-life activists. Colorado for Equal Rights is sponsoring the Human Life Amendment to the Colorado Constitution, stating "(t)he term "Person" or "Persons" shall include any human from the time of fertilization." The Human Life Amendment initiative is currently working to gather petition signatures to appear on the November 2008 ballot.

Prologue

While I fully realize that the subject of abortion is an unspoken blasphemy in polite company, nevertheless during this political season I feel compelled to address this most critical issue of modern times. Why? Like slavery, abortion gives one person the power to terminate the life of another under the color of law.

Chattel slavery, or the idea that one man can own and sell another person as his own personal property, was outlawed in 1865 by force of arms in the Civil War and de jure (by law) via the 13th Amendment. Nevertheless, American society has a modern form of slavery that in my opinion is vastly more clandestine and diabolical than America's 400-year experiment with "that peculiar institution" – abortion.

A great, great grandson of successful anti-slavery campaigner William Wilberforce is addressing the contemporary "slavery" issue, abortion.

In a commentary on a United Kingdom blog, Gerard Wilberforce wrote he believes his ancestor, who campaigned for years for the end of the transatlantic slave trade in 1807, which led to the abolition of slavery through out British Empire in 1833, would consider the two activities similar.

"I am often asked what would be the campaigns Wilberforce would be fighting if he were alive in 21st century Britain. I believe that there would be a number of different issues – among them human trafficking and the scourge of drugs. But almost certainly at the top of the list, would be the issue of abortion," wrote Gerard Wilberforce, a Catholic priest.

"As the Human Fertilization and Embryology bill comes before Parliament over the next few weeks, the opportunity presents itself to amend the abortion act," he continued. "With the number of abortions having reached 200,000 per year in the UK alone, the time is right to tighten up the law that was designed to protect women by ending illegal abortion, but never to allow such a high degree of deprived life."

He said there are "great similarities" between the preborn child and the status of African slaves 200 years ago.

TINY BABY MADE IN GOD'S IMAGE THROWN IN
CONTINENTAL AIRLINES TRASH!

This sad story once again incorrectly uses the
term fetus to describe a baby
apparently delivered on a plane and thrown in the garbage:

"HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A human fetus was found on a Continental airlines flight that landed at Bush Intercontinental Airport. And right now, the FBI is involved, trying to find out what happened.

Investigators say the flight was from New York to Houston late Sunday afternoon. The FBI says a cleaning crew found the fetus in the trash in a bathroom on Flight 433 out of New York's LaGuardia airport.

The Continental airlines plane was parked at gate 18, which is located at the far end of the building. The plane landed at about 4:45pm Sunday at Bush Airport. Passengers got off the plane.

An hour passed before the person cleaning the bathroom made the discovery inside a trash bag in that plane's bathroom. Investigators say the child was not a full term baby, that it was a fetus. They cannot say how far along that fetus might have been in its development."

This obsession with dehumanizing pre-born babies by calling them "fetuses" demonstrates the need for Personhood
laws. Babies must be legally protected from the moment of fertilization.

Colorado For Equal Rights is leading the way to make certain Harry Blackmun's statement, "if personhood is
ever established, the case for abortion collapses," comes true.

Dianne and I have verified that Waste Management does indeed provide waste removal services at Planned Parenthood Abortion Mill at 1330 W. Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Today, Dianne and I changed our Trash Service from Waste Management of Colorado Springs to Tri-Lakes Disposal, Inc. (495-8652). We will consider returning to Waste Management if they discontinue service to Planned Parenthood.

We urge you to contact Waste Management via e-mail AND phone call and ask them to cancel serving Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs and elsewhere! If you have service via Waste Management, we urge you to change to another company if Waste Management does not cancel serving Planned Parenthood.
