Deconstructing Fr. Jenkins

"The President’'s visit to Notre Dame can help lead to broader engagement on issues of importance to the country and of deep significance to Catholics.

Ultimately, I hope that the conversations and the good will that will come from this day will contribute to closer relations between Catholics and public officials who make decision on matters of human life and human dignity."

If abortionists kill your future students, who will "engage" in the matters of deep significance to Catholics?

"At this crossroads, we must be a place where people of good will are received with charity, are able to speak, be heard, and engage in responsible and reasoned dialogue."

And of course, those individuals killed by abortionists won't ever be received with charity, or be able to speak, or be heard - or engage in responsible or reasoned dialogue !!!!

"As the first African-American holder of this office, he has accelerated our country’s progress in overcoming the painful legacy of slavery and segregation. He’s a remarkable figure in American history and I look forward to welcoming him to Notre Dame."

It is truly tragic that Mr. Obama pretends not to know that the founder of America's largest abortion provider, Margaret
Sanger, was a eugenics proponent and as such a racist. Her legacy is nearly 1,500 black babies killed in the U.S. every day. He betrays the black race and LEARN has statistics that are chilling.

The presidents would be wise to read Psalm 11.

Notre Dame to be given 'Collaborator' status?
Abortion opponents say rescind Obama invitation or else

A pro-life group is warning that the University of Notre Dame may be given its "Collaborators" designation, a mark it reserves for those it considers the worst offenders in the war over abortion, because of its invitation to President Obama to speak at its commencement.

In a letter today to university officials, Leslie Hanks, chief of the Collaborators Project, wrote:

Because Notre Dame has extended the extraordinary honor of speaking at one of America's foremost Catholic colleges to one with such cavalier disregard for the sanctity of life, social tension is increasing exponentially in your community.

Collaborators Project was founded to do precisely that. Our motto is, "No Child Killing with Tranquility."

Another way to honor Moms: Increase social tension!

No child killing with tranquility!!

I missed this year's Mother's day Holiday Home Visit to a Denver abortionist O'Laughlin, but I'm so impressed at those who took time out of their day to remind the neighbors what he does, allowing him to live in that Mc Mansion and park a Mercedes in his drive way.

This activisim is starting to spread and I'm so proud of our friends in Indianapolis who are bringing the truth to abortionist's neighbors there. It is becoming an effective way to shine the light of day on these cockroaches and take abortion from the abstraction of being a "medical procedure" to showing the ugly reality.

And by the way, what could be more priceless than a 6 year old asking a local "law enforcement" official, why he won't arrest the killer?

Here's a word from her lovely Mother:

Price of the average abortion? - $400
- Price of the car driven by an abortionist? - $50,000
- Price of the home bought with blood money? - $300,000
- Price of the look on a policeman’s face when my six year old asks him why he doesn’t arrest the baby-killers? - PRICELESS!

Here is a little clip of Kiralee's bold witness!

And to clarify the sound:

Kiralee: “Excuse me.”

Policeman: “Yes mam.”

Kiralee: “Um, why do you not arrest, um, the baby killers?”

A brief hesitant pause then an unforgettable panicked look appeared on the policeman’s face as he glanced over at me with regret before stumbling over his response. (I was trying to be sneaky while recording on the DL so unfortunately his face is blocked – but trust me, you’ll just have to take my word for it – it was PRICELESS!)

Policeman: “Well… because they have their beliefs, and you guys have yours……….Some people think it’s okay, and some people don’t.”

Kiralee: “Oh, okay…….thank you……………………………..awe…”

Ted Turner: China a Good Example of Population Control, Despite Forced Abortions

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com)

Billionaire broadcast magnate Ted Turner is causing guffaws from observers with his latest comment on family planning in China. He lauded the Asian nation for its population control program and said it was a good example even though it is rife with forced abortions and sterilizations.

During an interview with the Diane Rehm Show gave China as a model for how to handle growing populations.

“We do have the example of China, and they've done it without, uh, draconian, as far as I can see, draconian steps," he said.

Observers of the quote are surprised that Rehm let it go unchallenged and without any mention of the human rights abuses that accompany the Chinese family planning program.

The policy has resulted in epidemics of forced abortions and sterilizations and human rights abuses ranging from job loss and imprisonment to house arrest and threatening family members.

In fact, new reports show the forced abortions have resulted in high infertility rates forced abortions. A new report indicates that has sparked infertility and given rise to an underground network of surrogate mothers.

Alan Keyes Arrested While Protesting University of Notre Dame’s Obama Invitation

Friday, May 08, 2009
By Melanie Hunter-Omar

(CNSNews.com) – Conservative political activist and former presidential candidate Dr. Alan Keyes was arrested on Friday along with 21 other pro-lifers while protesting the University of Notre Dame’s decision to give President Obama an honorary law degree despite his support for abortion.

Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, a pro-life group, said Keyes and the other protesters “walked on campus praying quietly with baby carriages that had dolls covered with stage blood as a show of protest.”

The day before, Keyes was approached during a press conference on public property by two plain clothes Notre Dame policemen and told that if he walked on campus for any reason, he would be arrested.

According to Terry, Keyes replied: “I have not even stepped foot on the campus, and they give me this warning? They told me: 'We are just doing our job.' I told them I am just coming to witness for the truth."

“We have people sitting in jail who defended human life on Notre Dame’s campus and Notre Dame is going to honor someone that takes human life,” Terry told CNSNews.com, referring to Obama’s decision to approve funding to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which supports China’s one-child policy that includes coercive abortion.

The Bush administration had stopped the $40 million in annual funding for UNFPA six years ago.

By giving the order to fund UNFPA, Obama “unleashed American dollars to kill babies in Africa and in China, and when he said start again with embryonic stem cell research, his order is directly responsible for the deaths of innocent human beings,” Terry told CNSNews.com.

Terry compared Obama to King Herod from the Bible, who ordered boys under the age of two in Bethlehem and its vicinity to be killed.

Obama Supports Kidnapping

Obama Supports Kidnapping (Read On)

by Steven W. Mosher

Our own Colin Mason is back from China. His week-long undercover investigation of revealed fresh abuses in China’s One-Child policy and new proof of the U.N. Population Fund’s complicity in these abuses. Remember that the UNFPA has been in China since 1979(!), helping the Beijing authorities to implement their program. Colin visited three counties where the U.N. Population Fund claims to run “voluntary” family planning programs, and found that they were anything but.

What struck me about his investigation, as someone who has been following the policy for three decades, was how the fines for “illegal” children have been increased in recent years. The fines for having an illegal child are now three to five times the family’s income. The equivalent fine in the U.S. would be $150 to $250 thousand dollars. Couples have to mortgage their future for decades—literally—in order to be able to borrow enough money to pay off these fines. The government insists on calling this extortion “social compensation fees”—as if the parents were simply defraying the cost to society of another child—but in reality they are heavily punitive. Faced with the prospect of such a fine, many couples “voluntarily” submit to an abortion and sterilization.

What happens if you don’t pay the fine? In Guangxi province, what reportedly happens is that illegal newborns are taken into custody by government officials, who hold the infants until the parents are able to scrape together enough money to pay the huge fine. In other words, the babies are kidnapped and held for ransom! What happens if the parents can’t pay the fine? One can only imagine.

Colin’s findings are consistent with the results of earlier investigations carried out by PRI. In 2001, for example, PRI sent a team of investigators into China to look into the UNFPA’s “model family planning” program, specifically its claim that forced abortions and forced sterilizations are a thing of the past. While in country, we interviewed over two dozen victims and witnesses of coercion, videotaping and audiotaping their answers. Those interviewed stated that voluntary family planning does not exist in UNFPA’s “model” program and that forced abortions continue to occur.

Even the U.S. State Department, not known for its pro-life sentiments, concurred in 2002 that China’s heavy fines were coercive in nature, and that the UNFPA was complicit in this coercion. Presented with our evidence, President Bush did the sensible thing and withheld funding from the UNFPA for seven years, costing the rogue agency some $200 million.

Now along comes Obama. The new President pledged during the campaign to restore funding to the UNFPA. Then on March 11 he signed the 2009 omnibus spending bill, which includes $50 million for the UNFPA. Two weeks later the State Department announced the formal resumption of contributions to the UNFPA. And only a few days ago the U.S. Secretary of State (Hillary Clinton, remember her?) appeared before the U.S. House of Representatives and, in sworn testimony, praised the U.N. agency, now flush with U.S. cash.

Can the funding be cut off again, now that new evidence of the UNFPA’s complicity with coercion and kidnapping has come to light? Frankly, I don’t know. The anti-life mentality that pervades the new administration may prove impervious to both facts and reason. But we at PRI will continue to demand that Americans not be forced to fund these abuses.

Furthermore, we will continue to argue that forced abortion should not merely be anathema to pro-lifers. It should be rejected by those on the other side of the abortion debate as well. Human rights groups of all stripes should be urging President Obama to zero out all UNFPA funding. American tax dollars must not be used to fund an organization that violates the basic human rights of women around the world. And apparently condones kidnapping.

Tuesday's Blog Party

One of the amazing positives that I can recount from the recent and very painful loss of one of my twin
grand daughters, was to make the acquaintance of some very tremendous mothers.

I speak of some 20 twin moms who made the incredible effort to be at Tuesay's memorial service - with their babe's in tow.

To say we were blessed by their commitment, is truly an understatement!

And the blessings continue to wash over us.

One twin mom friend - Debi - whom I call the Energizier Bunny -has organized a blog party to help raise awareness about Neuroblastoma and $$$ for pediatric cancer research, whilst raising her 9 children.

I can't say I understand the way this fun event works, but if you'd like to learn along with me, click on the blog party button to see all the items you can bid on.

Debi took my Precious Tuesday poem and photo and placed it gently into a lovely music box which plays Amazing Grace.

Pledge $1.00 or whatever amount you'd like to raise your chances for whichever item catches your fancy. I'm looking at Items from New Zealand since it is tops on my list of places to go in the next year.

During Tuesday's struggle with cancer, people from all over the world became aware of her illness, culminating with 13,000 hits on my daughter's blog the day Toosie went to be with Jesus.

So all kinds of international friends are likely checking in for this fun way to honor Miss T and to bless her Mama leading up to Mother's Day Saturday.

THANK YOU Debi !! Your kindness is so appreciated and won't soon be forgotten.

No law against abortion protest photos
Some residents upset by graphic images on trucks, banners.

By SUE LOWE and MARGARET FOSMOE Tribune Staff Writers

SOUTH BEND -- Lynn Nemeth was driving across town last week with her 3 1/2-year-old granddaughter when a big truck adorned with pictures of aborted fetuses pulled up beside her car.

Nemeth recalled the child's reaction: "Oh, look at the bloody hand."

"It wasn't a bloody hand," said Nemeth, very upset at what her granddaughter had seen.

"It's my issue -- an adult issue," she said. "It's not meant for little kids to see."

Nemeth, who lives in Granger, said several school buses carrying children who could see the trucks were also nearby. She said the parents of those children monitor their televisions so they won't see that kind of thing, but they couldn't protect their children while they were on those school buses.Nemeth isn't the only local resident upset about the pictures on trucks and on banners towed by airplanes in the sky recently.

The images are part of protests over President Barack Obama's scheduled appearance May 17 at the University of Notre Dame commencement. The truck and airplane banner displays are staged by the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, a California-based organization.

The graphic images on trucks and banners will continue until commencement, said Mark Harrington, director of the group's Midwest office. A pro-life radio host who lives in Columbus, Ohio, Harrington and 10 to 15 volunteers are living in South Bend until commencement in order to direct the group's publicity campaign.

The group doesn't intentionally display the graphic abortion photos for children to see, but sometimes that can't be avoided, Harrington said Saturday. The group tries to avoid driving the trucks by elementary schools and day care centers, he said.

"There is no way to completely eliminate children from seeing the banners. We decided long ago that is an unfortunate tradeoff," he said. The group displays the photos because the mainstream news media are part of a cover-up by refusing to show the results of abortion, Harrington said.

"Social reformers have always used graphic images to dramatize injustice," he said. "We are trying to get people to hate abortion. If they hate us, too, that's a tradeoff we're willing to make."

Harrington describes himself as nondenominational evangelical Christian. He said he's been a guest speaker twice in the past at Notre Dame conferences organized by pro-life student groups. He described his group as nonviolent and nonpartisan.

Harrington said other communities have attempted to ban his group's graphic displays, but the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform always has won in court based on freedom of speech grounds.

Barack Obama Advisor Warren Buffet Gives Millions to Pro-Abortion Groups

by Steven Ertelt
LifeNews.com Editor
October 21, 2008

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- During the third and final presidential debate last week, Barack Obama mentioned investment guru Warren Buffet as a financial advisor. Obama called Buffet a "my friend and supporter," but failed to mention Buffet has given millions of dollars to pro-abortion groups.

Buffett is the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and, due to public pressure from pro-life advocates, Berkshire Hathaway announced in June 2003 that it would end all corporate charitable donations.

Prior to that, through his Buffett Foundation, Buffett supported the most radical aspects of the population control movement such as providing $2 million to fund clinical trials of Mifepristone (RU-486) -- the dangerous abortion drug that has killed more than a dozen women worldwide.

Buffett also provided $2 million to Family Health International for the distribution of quinacrine hydrochloride, a chemical that sterilizes a woman by burning her fallopian tubes.

Quinacrine is illegal in the U.S., but is used, often coercively, in Vietnam, India, and other nations.

In the late 1990s, Buffett committed to a $20 million grant to International Projects Assistance Services (IPAS), which manufactures and distributes manual vacuum aspirators, used for performing abortions in impoverished countries.

Buffet had also made donations to Planned Parenthood in the name of Pampered Chef, a cooking sales program with a high participation from Christian women. After Berkshire Hathaway purchased Pampered Chef, it donated $11 million to pro-abortion organizations in 2002.

The only thing allowing evil to flourish, is good people doing nothing!!

Minister Kenney: "Don't deport Roohi - stop honorcide!"

She can stay, for now
Faces possible honour killing if deported to Pakistan

By TOM GODFREY, SUN MEDIA
Last Updated: 28th April 2009, 3:01am

An ecstatic Roohi Tabassum wept yesterday after learning a federal court judge stopped her removal from Canada just hours before she was to be deported to face her ex-husband and possible death by honour killing in Pakistan.

"I feel alive that I can now carry on with my new life," Tabassum said yesterday. "This is one of the best days of my life."

Tabassum, 44, was to be driven to the U.S. border today at Niagara Falls and turned over to U.S. immigration officials. She entered Canada from the U.S. in 2001 and filed a failed refugee claim. She faced deportation from the U.S. to Pakistan.

"I am crying because I am so happy," she said. "No one can imagine how great I feel not to be facing death for once."

Tabassum claimed she couldn't return to Pakistan because her ex-husband, Faisal Javed, threatened to kill her.

STYLES MEN'S HAIR

He was angered because she works in a salon where she styles men's hair, she said, and also suspected she had a boyfriend, which she denies.

Madame Justice Anne Mactavish said Tabassum would likely be deported back to Pakistan from the U.S., where she has no status.

"The applicant has established that she will suffer irreparable harm" if she is removed from Canada," Mactavish ruled.

She allowed Tabassum to remain in Canada until a pre-removal appeal can take place, which can take about nine months.

Her lawyer Max Berger told court that 1,200 to 1,500 women were killed in 2007 from honour killings in Pakistan, according to U.S. Department of State statistics.

"Honour killings continue to be a problem with women in Pakistan," he said. "Cases go unreported because women are reluctant to press charges because of a stigma involved."

The case has caught the attention of hundreds of Toronto Sun readers and those who saw her video on torontosun.com.

Meanwhile, in Parliament yesterday NDP MP Irene Mathyssen demanded that Immigration Minister Jason Kenney halt the deportation.

"She is begging for her life," Mathyssen told the House of Commons. "Will the minister ensure that Roohi is not deported?"

Kenney said he "would be happy to review the case as it relates to an apparent application on humanitarian and compassionate grounds."

Judge's mercy prevents honor killing, for now

But woman who fears husband's wrath may yet be sent to her death

Roohi Tabassum

This afternoon, a judge placed a temporary stay on deporting a Pakistani woman who feared her husband would kill her if she were reunited with him.

Roohi Tabassum has been a refugee living for years in Mississauga, Ontario, making a living as a hairdresser, while filing for permanent refugee residency on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

Her husband, Faisal Javed, however, has been living in Dubai and has been sending her written death threats, saying she has dishonored him by touching the hair of both men and women at the salon where she works.

"If I go back I will be killed, and because of me, some of my relatives will be in trouble too," Tabassum told the Toronto Star. "I don't want to go to Pakistan."

Tabassum showed the Star letters, purportedly from her husband, threatening her with an "honor killing" if she were deported.

One, from 2006, states, "Nobody here is in your favor. I am also very combative to you. If you are here, I could not leave you alive."

Another from 2007 states, "I will finish you myself."

A video of Tabassum's story, produced by the Toronto Sun, can be seen below:

Storm over embryo 'bank' which could be used as a body repair kit

By Beezy Marsh and Jo Macfarlane
Last updated at 11:04 PM on 25th April 2009

Couples could be allowed to store embryos in order to use them to create new body parts or cure diseases.

Government legal and ethical experts are to discuss whether families can ‘bank’ embryos not just for procreation but also for use by doctors to create personalised treatments for parents and their children.

Now, embryos – the first stage of life after an egg has been successfully fertilised – can be stored for up to five years but only for procreation.

But a huge ethical debate is set to erupt as the Government’s fertility watchdog, the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), moves closer to endorsing new developments in medical science.

It will debate whether embryos could be stored to harvest important stem cells that have the ability to turn into any tissue type in the body.

'Spare parts': Government legal and ethical experts are to discuss whether families can 'bank' embryos for the creation of personalised treatments for parents and their children
Research on using the cells is still in its infancy, but it is thought that within ten years it could lead to cures for degenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and some forms of cancer.

The embryos could also be used to grow new organs and bodily ‘spare parts’.

Scientists have already successfully transplanted a windpipe grown from a patient’s own adult stem cells.

However, storing embryonic cells is controversial as they allow the creation of embryos for a purpose other than new life. It means couples could have IVF simply to create a body-repair kit.

A US company is already offering this service, which it has described as an ‘investment’ for the future.

The HFEA will discuss the issue in July – and if it rules in favour of the proposals, they will automatically become policy.

Paul Tully, general secretary of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, said: ‘These proposals widen the scope for abuse of embryos. Commercial companies will inevitably seek to exploit people’s fears about degenerative diseases.

'This is about the commercialisation of human embryos, which is dehumanising.’

The Dominican Republic
Lawmakers working on a new constitution for the Dominican Republic have voted overwhelmingly to protect life, specifying in the document that "the right to life is inviolable from conception until death."

The vote yesterday was 167-32 in the national legislature, which was responding to pressure from international pro-abortion groups seeking to expand their business operations into the Caribbean island nation.

"A true respect for human life is protecting it from the beginning, the Dominican Republic is ahead of America in building a society where all human life is truly respected," said Ignacio Reyes, director of Live Action San Jose.

His group was among several that sent representatives to the nation over the past month to explain the full impact of abortion.

SEBELIUS CONFIRMATION COULD BE TODAY; OPPOSITION GROWING; CALL NOW

Dear friends,

Sebelius may be confirmed as early as today! Call your senators NOW!

The Senate Finance Committee earlier today narrowly voted to confirm Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to Secretary of Health and Human Services by a vote of 11-8. The vote reflects the growing opposition to Sebelius in light of new revelations about her deep financial ties to the abortion industry and notorious abortionist George Tiller in particular.

There is growing momentum against this nomination among Senate members and we need YOU to light up the Senate switchboards. We can stop this by acting NOW!

Please call your senators at 202-224-312.

Urge them to oppose this radical nomination. Kathleen Sebelius is a threat to our nation’s healthcare.

Gov. Sebelius lied to the Senate Finance Committee when she testified she received $12,450 over an eight-year period from infamous late-term abortionist, George Tiller.

In reality, Gov. Sebelius received over $35,000 in personal and PAC contributions from Tiller and another $200,000 he donated to ProKanDo, a political action committee dedicated to defeating Sebelius’ pro-life gubernatorial opponent.

Kathleen Sebelius is radically wedded to the pro-abortion industry. She must be stopped and we need YOU TO STOP HER! CALL NOW!

Please contact Sebelius' home state senators - Sen. Brownback's and Sen. Roberts' offices. Ask them to stand up against this nomination and stop Sebelius by invoking senatorial courtesy!

Don't corrupt American Medicine

Freedom of Conscience is Fundamental to American
Values

As Concerned Women for America reminds us:

No one should be forced to participate in an immoral act.

Conscientious objectors are exempt from combat. Physicians opposed to the death penalty are not forced to administer lethal injections.

Doctors should not be forced to do procedures they believe are immoral.

Today a few of us tried to raise awareness of the potential recision of the current conscience clause for Christian medical professionals. We went to St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver.

Sadly, we were asked to leave. Chased off the property. I guess our signs saying "Protect conscience rights" were too strong for the hospital staff to take.

We went to the sidewalk out front and a security guard came again to tell us that we had to go across the street with our message. Fortunately, we knew we were on city sidewalks and had every right to exercise our
1st Amendment rights.

Do you fear for the country we are leaving our children and grandchildren?

Thank you Jesus

Refugee fears death in Pakistan

Hairdresser says husband overseas has threatened to 'finish' her if she's deported to her native land

STAFF REPORTER

Roohi Tabassum had nothing when she arrived in Canada eight years ago as a refugee from Pakistan.

But since then, Tabassum, 44, has built a life in this country. She cuts hair at a salon. She bought a house in Mississauga. She calls Canada her home.

But at the end of the month, the life Tabassum struggled to build for so long is in danger of ending. An unsuccessful refugee claimant, she faces a deportation order to Pakistan that could, she says, be a death sentence.

Tabassum says her husband, Faisal Javed, currently living in Dubai, has sent her written threats saying she has dishonoured him by working at a salon where she touches the hair of men and women.

Tabassum also says her husband suspects she has a boyfriend after a friend's husband answered her phone one night when her husband called from Dubai.

"If I go back I will be killed and because of me, some of my relatives will be in trouble too," Tabassum said through tears in an interview.

Till we all meet again . . .

Four years ago this morning, Terri Schindler Schiavo finally succumbed to the state ordered murderous starvation and dehydration regime in Florida, after 13 days.

My friends and I had been furiously working with a few sympathetic Florida legislators to pass a sip of water bill, believing that if we could get Terri a sip of water, some ice chips . . . perhaps she'd make it.

Knowing full well that any animal owner who perpetrated the same torment on a pet or livestock would be put in jail, we worked to point out the madness we were witnessing and the world was watching.

Gabriel Keys and his sister Josie, homeschoolers who bucked the system - attempting to bring Terri a drink of water - were arrested.

These two young men from a far away state brought flowers in a vase designed to be able to assuage Terri's horrific thirst, should they be able to get past the police and dogs guarding the Hospice Woodside entrance.

During my numerous flights to Florida to join the hundreds, if not thousands, fighting for Terri's life, I pondered the day we'd meet. I considered her a friend, though we'd never met. That day has been postponed, but I pray that she and my precious Tuesday have recently become friends. I pray the words of scripture in Romans 8:28 have and will continue to bring comfort to the Schindler family as they remember and honor their beloved Terri on this poignant day.

8 Weeks

8 Weeks

Of asking why,

Lord, did Tuesday have to die?

8 weeks of tears oft shed,

each a memory of things she said

or did - we loved

to see or hear.

8 weeks of broken hearts,

trying to mend - yet still afar

it seems so odd, this loss we grieve.

It makes no sense but we believe.

You love her Lord, even more than we

and so we beg, you’ll help us see

you weaving our pain for something good.

To bring some meaning, some things understood.

For this we pray, that with each day

You’ll help us see and know your love,

for Tuesday’s life

Knows no bounds and will suffice . . .

Until we see her once again

all face to face in your embrace

Abortion Industry Needs "Pride" Movement: Brown University Bioethicist and Author
By Hilary White

March 26, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The abortion industry needs a "pride" movement, similar to that of the immensely successful homosexualist movement, a prominent US bioethicist says. Jacob M. Appel, an author, professor at Brown University and graduate of Harvard Law, wrote on the website "Opposing Views," that "the moment is ripe - more than ripe - for an Abortion Pride Movement."

Appel says that "one is bombarded" in the "conservative" press with stories of women who overcome obstacles to bring to term "fetuses" with severe disabilities. "The implication," he wrote, "is that while bearing a child when one is ready is a blessing, bearing a child when one is not prepared garners one extra moral credit in the cosmos." This praise of women carrying difficult pregnancies to term, he submits, constitutes an "anti-abortion" pride movement.

But for those Americans who believe "that life begins after conception," such stories are "not at all a cause for pride." "It more is akin to deciding that the world is flat and then boasting of not falling off the edge."

He complains that women who have abortions are "rarely encouraged to take pride in their decisions." Calling abortion a "courageous and noble moral choice," Appel wrote, "Women who step up to the ethical plate and have the strength to say, 'This is the wrong time,' or 'This is the wrong fetus,' should hold their heads high in the streets."

While he admitted that "terminating a pregnancy" can be a "difficult choice," "our society should be proud of them too."

"Our message should not be merely toleration or resigned acquiescence, but genuine joy that someone has made a decision for their own and for the collective good."

Aren't Jacob's mother and employer "proud" that his life wasn't sacrificed for the "collective good"?

EVIL FEMINISTS SCHEME TO KILL BRAZILIAN TWINS

Having recently lost a precious twin grand baby, this story and its follow up by Boundforlife below truly grieves me, as it does Jesus!

"Dr. Elizabeth Kipman Cerqueira, a Brazilian obstetrician, said in a public statement on the case that "I don’t know anyone who died because of the young age at which she was impregnated, if she received adequate accompaniment," and that she personally knows of cases of 10 year olds who gave birth and are in good health. She added that the abortion is likely to do serious damage to the girl psychologically, and noted that early labor could have been induced at some point after 22 weeks, rather than an abortion. The twins were already at over 20 weeks gestation when they were killled."

Note their Orwellian doublespeak:

"However, despite the lack of danger to the mother, pro-abortion physicians at the highest levels of the hospital were conspiring to bring about the death of her unborn twins. Vilma Guimares, the coordinator of IMIP’s Center for Attention for Women, was publicly advocating an abortion as early as February 27, even though she admitted that she had never examined the girl. "In situations of pregnancies that carry risks for the mother it is better to interrupt the pregnancy," she told the Diario de Pernambuco newspaper. Based on such a standard, abortions could be justified in all pregnancies, because pregnancy always carries some degree of risk."

There is no depth of depravity to which the blood thirsty will not stoop!

A Rare Glimpse

Death-scort – Ron Pringle

I’m not certain how long Ron has been an “escort” for evil, Planned Parenthood in Denver. But, I can say this, he has gone out of his way to be unkind to those who try to rescue those being unjustly led to the slaughter.

Today, on my first venture to Colorado’s slaughterhouse, for some time, I was astonished to be approached by a Planned Parenthood death-scort.

Ron came across the street to speak to me today. As he approached, I recall wondering if he was coming to chastise me for some crazy regulation I was violating, or if he would yell at me for - what ever?

Nevertheless, Ron spoke to me in a completely different manner than ever before.

Ron Pringle spoke into my heart today, in a way that completely baffled my mind. He told me that he had heard about my twin grand daughter, Tuesday’s passing.

He told me today that he was a twin. He admitted that he was a grandfather. Ron Pringle told me that he was sorry that my grand baby had died.

I couldn’t quite believe he was telling me these words.
In my choked up voice, I thanked him. But, I softly spoke these words.

“You’ve got to get out of this business.” He leaned into me and said “What?”
“You have to get out of this business, Ron.”

He nodded his head, yes.

I can’t quite believe that he meant what he acknowledged.

Yet, I pray that the prayers of my friends and myself will bear fruit.

I LOVE THIS WOMAN !!!!!

Beauty is as beauty does - so says Tara Wheeler, Miss Virginia 2008.

This wonderful woman is planning to shave her head for St. Baldricks
pediatric cancer fundraiser, if she is able to raise $500,000 before
April 11.

Seems like a huge, impossible task but . . .

I'm rooting for Tara. I'm praying that our citizens will rally for this
incredible cause. I've donated in the memory of my precious twin
grand daughter, Tuesday Fiona Whitt.

Poppy and Grammy want there to be no more babies, or children
who need to suffer and die before their time.

Will you help Tara? Will you pledge to help defeat pediatric cancer?

Thank you!

Reports: Woman gave birth, left baby on plane

2 hrs 52 mins ago

WELLINGTON, New Zealand – A woman who secretly gave birth on a flight from Samoa to New Zealand may face criminal charges after her baby was found alive in the plane's bathroom, police and media reports said Friday.

Police are inquiring into "the alleged ... abandonment of the child by the mother" after the flight landed in New Zealand on Thursday, police communications manager Ana-Mari Gates-Bowey said. "A likelihood of this investigation is a criminal prosecution."

Media reports said the mother left the baby in a bathroom waste bin on the Pacific Blue plane carrying 150 passengers; others said she was spotted with bloodied clothes in an immigration line. Police have declined comment on the reports.
Gates-Bowey said late Thursday the woman had undergone surgery at Auckland's Middlemore Hospital and was later reunited with her baby. Its gender has not been disclosed.

"We are relieved to have been informed that both mother and child are reunited, are well and are now being looked after in hospital," Pacific Blue said in a statement Thursday.
